NINETEEN YEARS OLD, the fiery redhead is an aspiring MUSICIAN who also juggles classes as a full-time UNIVERSITY STUDENT, music his major; he used to work several minor jobs before finding work as a lyricist for a rather successful idol. At TWENTY-ONE YEAR OLD, Anna has accomplished much in her life. On the internet, anyway. Intimate with technology and wealthy in the knowledge of programming, the half-Irish, half-Italian brunette has groomed herself to become an efficient HACKER ever since she could remember, utilizing her skills to put loads of cash into her pockets—whether by completing requests to electronically dig around for vital information as a hired INFORMANT or laundering money from bank accounts of the rich. Introverted, Anna doesn't find it necessary to go outside when all she really needs is shelter, food, and a computer, so the instance her fridge needs restocking and such is when she'd actually bother going out (unless her work, of course, suddenly requires her to affirm facts outside). Should her home wi-fi fail her, her usual spots to loiter around would typically be any place with a reliable connection, so it may be a café, a neighbor's flat, and beyond. She also orders take-out frequently since cooking wastes too much time, and thus, may be familiar with people in the restaurant industry.

I forgot to mention it in the application, but Reno's alchoholic of a father met a woman who helped sober him up, and has overall, slowly, gotten his life on track (with Reno, his son, being the major missing piece); this widowed woman has a son/daughter, and I figure Reno's father and the woman would get married sometime, but not before trying to win Reno back into the family.
- FORMER FIANCE for Annalise Callahan. Not quite a former fiance than it is someone who was going to be her fiance? Before Anna settled in Nova Athenis, she was supposed to meet a bachelor for an arranged marriage (to strengthen alliances between families, you can say), but as you know it, she ditched home. idk we can elaborate on this, and I don't really mind if the dude was ironically a native to Nova Athenis either, long as his background's influential? |

time to post in ayu's plotters again. let's see how long it takes you to respond this time /shot
so here's the kuroko to your akashi. we briefly talked about them being childhood friends since it's highly doubtful that they would have gotten along at all if that were not the case. reno's short tempered and violent while luke is sarcastic and rude. that's not a very good combination at all. as for how they met...like, i'm not sure if reno's the type of guy to stand up to bullies when they are picking on someone weaker than them or not, but maybe one day reno could have ran into couple of older kids picking on luke because of his small size and the fact that luke's smart mouth might have been partially the reason for the fight in the first place. so you know, reno fends off the bigger kids and instead of thanking him normally luke's all "i didn't actually asked you to help" cause he's ungrateful like that. so they might have got off on the wrong foot at first. but then maybe their houses are nearby so they always keep on running into each other. heck, maybe they even went to the same school, but just never really talked to each other since they are two years apart and well, luke prefers not to socialize much. he's a bit socially awkward actually, haha. it might just kinda be them walking home and it's like, "are you following me?" "i live in this area" "what, how come i never saw you?".
so yeah, maybe after that first oh so pleasant meeting they start to actually notice each other. and i'm guessing that these two probably wouldn't have that many friends because of their personalities with reno being all grumpy and short-tempered and luke's that kid in the background who when actually decides to speak just ends up repelling people away, so it just may end up becoming a thing in which they turned out to be the other's person company for most of the time though albeit unintentionally. then after a while a friendship slowly starts to form and now they are tight bros who just kinda bicker and stuff every couple minutes, but it's okay because that's how people know that they care for each other \o/.
and yeah, like i said, luke likes photography and so he'd probably just take random photos of reno while he's performing stuff at cafes. actually, he'd probably just end up showing up often whenever reno plays somewhere or just tags along with the guy because he has nothing better to do, lol.
well, not much to say here as we pretty much worked out the relationships between all four boys on skype and all. but yeah, just smoothing out some stuff and making things official between these two. so basically, konrad and reno are childhood friends along with ash and axel and now they live together. konrad would be someone who would always try to calm down reno if he ever snaps at something because of his low boiling point. though sometimes he just may be the cause of reno's anger cause he's just as guilty at bringing stray cats home like ash is. just not as many as ash, lol. though he would bring puppies home too, so if reno finds a puppy in his bed or something then uh, it's obvious who to blame. oh and since they're the same age and year in uni, they might have a class or two together, like maybe a general education or elective course. so they could also be classmates as well as yearmates despite being in different majors. so i guess on some days they might end up going to uni together or coming back together. and yeah, i don't really know what else to add, but if something does come up we can just conveniently discuss that on skype /o/

there were these boys

no, jk.
anyway, these guys' first meeting was at the park when—dun, dun, dun—frank's instruments got stolen by thugs. even though reno didn't see who the culprits were, he's got a faint idea on where to find them since he's kinda familiar with the streets, somewhat knowledgeable on where the stolen goods would be pawned off. SO YEAH, they probably go on this quest to retrieve frank's belongings, and once they do complete the mission, they go their separate ways. the very next day or so, coincidentally, they bump into each other at a café that has only /one/ open time slot for a gig, so idk—maybe they play rock, paper, scissors for that slot, or they end up temporarily banding together as an alternative, playing a mash-up of songs. AND WHAT DO YOU KNOW, they sound like crap 'cause they play very different songs that just don't complement each other, or—they sound surprisingly really good together and they're liek "'eyyyy".
reno doesn't warm up easily to people, but what can't music do! it brings the passionate people of music together. in spite of the redhead's grumblings, he'd eventually find frank to be an okay guy. definitely talented, which means the dude's worth his valuable time (lol this kid). whenever they need spare change, they could probably collaborate on a few songs and perform on the streets—which is, perhaps, much more profitable than if they were to be alone. less competition, y' know? you suggested them to be a musical duo over on skype, and while i don't see it becoming an official thing (because reno's a loser), their collaboration /could/ be a side-project (like, they could have a side band that's not their main priority)—something they do whenever they have time, whenever they just want to bro it up.
while frank's narcolepsy would get on reno's nerves a bit, reno would actually be a pissed-off worried, y' know? like, what if frank fell asleep in a bathtub and accidentally drowned? what if he collapsed in the middle of walking through traffic? dude cares, even if he makes it sound like a burden and knows frank can't really do anything about it. so, uh, yeah, you can definitely count on the kid to lug frank around whenever that occurs—probably take him to frank's current living arrangement or even to the loft his shares with his roommates just to, like, put him in a secure place.
and yeah, idk what to add. |

hunter sounds like an awesome character, and since her and reno are the same age, maybe they could have attended the same high school—or even have met each other in middle school. whatever works! if they were acquainted back then, then she'd likely know that reno was kind of a delinquent; he was the kid who was involved in a lot of fights, sometimes skipped school—but he was never that bad, y' know? not until he lost one of his parents, which happened, uh, sometime in middle school, so she could have witnessed his downward transformation. OR OR OR they could have lived in the same neighborhood, them being middle-class folks, and thus, they were childhood friends, idk how you'd want this plot to go, but um—the teachers could have asked her to deliver assignments to his place and shiet if they /did/ live close by. AHALAG lemme just straighten this out, k.
if we went with neighbors, they could have been childhood friends. their parents maybe would've known each other, and invited the other for dinners and shit—idk, i picture this neighborhood to be a close-knit community, where all the kids on the block hung out at a local playground while the parents just talked to each other about recipes, things like that, as they waited. during that period, reno was an extremely toned down version of his current self; he was kinda bossy, yeah, but never got into fights unless someone was picking on his friends, and didn't have such a foul mouth as he does now. hunter and him could have been in the same schools, and since they practically saw each other nearly every day of the week, they would've known each other really well! been the best of friends!
—that is, until the later years of middle school, when reno and his mother got into a car accident; he sustained some injuries, but his mother wasn't as fortunate, and after the funeral—where people of the community were invited—it's kinda clear that reno's changed. he's becomes a bit isolated, and more prone to anger, and when hunter tries to be hunter, he just shoos her away or yells at her. cue the start of delinquency, getting into fights, disappearing from school, and hunter possibly being chosen as messenger by the teacher to deliver shiet. so, like, when she visits reno's place, she could discover that his family's become kinda broken; reno's father does nothing but drink all day, and might as well be a stranger. idk if hunter's bro is older or younger, but maybe she'd be afraid reno's gonna turn out like him, and like, offers him to stay at her house when he runs away from home? idk, uh, yeah. perhaps she could be the reason that he's, like, less angry, loool.
fast forward to the present, and reno's definitely more mature—i mean, yeah, he'd still get agitated easily, but he's more responsible for his actions, 'cause he's a man and no way does he wanna be a chump like his father. he gets into the same uni as hunter, and even though they're headed for completely different paths—one cooking, and the other, music—he'd probably take time out of his day to visit her at the bakery she works at, and purchase a box to bring to his flatmates and

BUT I GOTTA, like, laugh at your description of both luke and reno—how one's rude and the other's just easily angered—'cause you're right, that's like fighting fire with fire, and they probably would have been mortal enemies, or have some one-sided hate coming from reno had they not known each other since childhood, haha. basically, everything you said sounds just about right! reno doesn't like people ganging up on others, or situations where the strong pick on the vulnerable, so he definitely would have tried to scare off luke's bullies, and when luke does his "i didn't ask for your help" thing, their whole exchange takes a negative turn. their meeting's kinda fated for them to have a bad impression of each other, really, 'cause i'm pretty sure my character would've found some reason to get angry at luke even if he didn't say anything, LOL.
in a way, i guess they're kinda like actual siblings, the way they bicker about stupid things? after unintentionally spending so much time together, they kinda just learn to tolerate each other, and know that when someone says something harsh, it's not really with the intention to hurt. they'd know each other well enough to differentiate when the other is seriously angry or simply the angry that doesn't last for more than ten seconds, etc. they probably have their own way of cheering each other up, too, when spirits are down—like, instead of trying to make the other person laugh with a joke, they'd just make fun of them, rile them up just to have that anger distract them from whatever pressing thoughts.
IDK, MAN, THESE BOYS are probs the type of boys who /could/ have srs discussions with each other, but are also the boys who magically make the other feel better by telling each other off-
reno's a pretty honest guy, and even if he hates having his picture taken, he'd be completely straight with luke when he says he actually likes how a certain image was captured; there's no doubt in his bone that he believes luke to have the creative vision it takes to be a photographer, so yeah—if luke ever competes in a photography thing or showcases a work in a gallery, then you could very well bet that reno's gonna be damn proud of him, ruffle his head and everything like a big bro would. |

lol, since they're childhood friends and they, like, pretty much live with the people who know them best, i have no doubt that konrad's the likeliest person of the group who can react the fastest to a raging reno—like, if someone accidentally shoves a plate of food out of reno's hands, konrad's the guy who'd instantly know what to do to pacify the beast. i guess you can say konrad's reno's conscience, the jimney cricket to his, uh, pinoccio? more specifically, the one who tells him it's not worth fighting over something, the one that reasons with him or holds him back from causing a scene in a restaurant—like, gosh, where was konrad when he needed him for all those cafeteria brawls he had in high school, y' know? while reno may express his distaste and be pissed off for hours because of a cat being released into the flat they live in, he wouldn't bear a grudge against konrad or acheron for it, 'cause he knows they can't suppress their desire to help a stray animal. it's not their fault, and it's not like they do it on purpose to scare axel and to have reno's allergies act up-
so yeah, konrad may be different from reno personality-wise, but he's like the water needed to cool off a blazing fire. and i like that idea! them sharing classes, and going to and from university together! they could probably visit a couple of fast foot places on the way there, pick up groceries to bring home, whatever the other two text them to fetch from places. like, they could probably enter an art store to look for supplies acheron wants them to get, and they just have the most confusing time there, like, "what paper did you want? there's one called rives, another lennox, but this one's got a rough texture to it—" and it's liek, they'd text acheron, be all, "ACHERON, SPIT OUT EXACTLY THE NAME OF THE PAPER YOU WANT."

clyde & reno, hi, just a new person here to annoy you. ' ^ ' and maybe steal your stuff all the time. and possibly have verbal and physical fights with you 24/7 like it's nbd. 'cause the basketball/soccer homo animu fcs (and poor bois) gotta stick together.
no like srsly can you imagine. clyde's gonna hide his stash of illegal stuff in reno's room, k. do you see how much clyde trusts him with his important shet? yeh? yeh? yehhh. or more like he's just using the fact that reno's possessive over his stuff to his advantage; like, counting on reno to chase away anyone that dares to step into his room so it's less likely for clyde's crap to get discovered? but then, since clyde kind of lives in a shady neighbourhood and hangs out around back alleys a lot, he probs has cat hair all over him and so yer know what that leads too right-? (Y) idk how he'd come across reno & co.'s particular place though- uhhh, maybe he just spotted (some of) them moving in and decided to familiarize himself with 'em, all, 'hey, do you guys need any help with anything?' and then that same night he kind of just dropped by and snuck in 'cause thieves do that shet.

but back to serious matters childhood friends sounds great!!! i actually really like that idea because i know hunter hasn't always been this happy-go-lucky girl but she has been really sacrificial-selfless and optimistic about the world for a while and tbh reno's family breaking down would just make her try harder at doing it. if he needs a couch to sleep on, she'd give him her's, if he needs a place to stay for a few days to cool down, then he has her house open for the taking.
and tbh he can shoo her away and yell at her all he needs to because hunter would have given him literally a million chances and getting it right would be the last thing on her mind because he's obviously hurting and the last thing he'd need would be to lose a friend so she'd be REALLY STUBBORN about putting up with his outbursts and she'd bounce back bc she's hunter and probably come the next day with a bunch of cookies and drag him out to forget about the world.
her brother is older but he's like kind of really older than her so idk what you'd do with that but yeah-
I LOVE IT THOUGH JUST AWW RENO RENOOOO tbh she'd probably just visit by his place and be like "COOKIES FOR EVERYONE"

juniper && reno : aka those people snow started shipping before we even made them. srs snow-
but juniper and reno! yeah we never really plotted those two out properly so i'm gonna do it now for srs. so juniper and reno work together, reno writes lyrics for her songs and helps her out with that, and she's his main source of income or w/e because she doesn't like the idea of sharing him. because he has talent and she wants her number one so like hell she is sharing his musical talent with other people, she's gonna keep him around for as long as possible. like she said tho she'd probably try and ruin him like if he quit 4 realz because she's spiteful as shit but anyway.
so these two could have met like at one of reno's gigs and she was like "i want you to come and work for me" and he accepted because he needs the money and stuff, getting a foot hold in the industry. and after a few days of forced pleasantries towards eachother it just decended into constant bickering. like people will see them and just wonder how they can work together BUT THEY HAVE A SORTA MUTUAL APPRECIATION FOR EACHOTHER'S TALENT. SOMEHOW THEY MANAGE IT. and their daily conversations- it's just like tsuns k? "oh its a good song but it's not great, don't think i like it too much k" "yeah you performed that well but it'd be better if it wasn't performed by you" ?? and it ends up with them cursing eachother out and just making fun of eachother and she'd probably threaten to fire him but he needs the job, she needs the songwriter. they just work k-?
and if becomes shippy, it becomes shippy if that's okay? then snow gets her dream

vera would've probably stalked reno, not gonna lie. she might've seen him performing in a cafe, or on the streets, and then she'd just manage to pick him up BECAUSE RED HAIR STANDS OUT FROM THE CROWD and she's like 'HEY MR REDHEAD YOU'RE SO COOL CAN YOU SIGN MY BASS' or something and then regret it afterwards and asks him to sign on paper because her bass is her baby ahem yes....
idk she's just not gonna give up. wait for him at the usual streets, cafes, run up to him with expectant eyes and begs him to teach her how to do redic things like sing, for example, she holds the tune of a toad, or maybe the guitar. idk why. she's weird ok.
there isn't a lot of things in the world vera gets a good grasp on, so i would think she's overly optimistic and childish, yeah. so she would keep the relationship simple because she's simple minded. idk, call him up at 2am screaming that she found the perfect row of chords and the guitar sounds of this new song reminds her of him idk expect her bouncing on the sofa and just making his place her own.............

— or or or well, bros-turned-enemies? reno's lived out on the streets before, was an on-and-off hobo, so clyde and him could have met each other while they were lingering around during the nighttime, or better yet, they could have been—at one point—detention mates back in high school (with reno, a year older, being an upperclassman), probably had some impromptu tag team thing when there was a food fight going around in the cafeteria; like, they'd just be throwing spaghetti and gravy at other people, using trays as shields or frisbees, and they just happen to bump each other by their backs and just instinctively go with it, or whatever. either way, they land themselves in detention. and for the time period while reno's in high school, they could've got into fights with other people and even with each other when they got on each other's nerves, pree much be fighting bros who hurled abuse at people together, etc.—that was, until reno graduated. so after he graduated, reno decided to actually /try/ to manage his short-tempered problem, and while he helplessly gets into brawls, anyway, HE KINDA JUST DITCHES CLYDE'S ASS 'CAUSE THE DUDE'S NOT HEALTHY WHEN IT COMES TO ~*~*TAMING~*~* THE ANGER ISSUE.
how imagine it, clyde's the devil on his shoulder, and no matter how many times reno tries to flick him off, he just poofs back. squeeze into reno's flat, stash drugs in his room, everything you listed, basically be the embodiment of a living nightmare—that's a job fit for clyde, definitely. ehhhr erhgh, i'm just rambling. /sob

| AHHH ahhhh hunter's the greatest, k. such a kind soul, and because of that, i know /for sure/ that reno's gonna be really protective over her so that no one tries to take advantage of her generous attitude; like, what are childhood buddies for, right? Bc !! she had his back during his time of need /and/ during the times when he wasn't exactly the greatest friend to her, so you can be sure that he'd try to pay her back. idk how he'd go about, 'cause he's manly and doesn't like to hug and be gushy about things like gratitude, but he'd surely feel super indebted to her and do small things, like: pat her on the head when he's proud of her behind his " Bc " face, force her to listen to a song he wrote under the guise of needing an opinion, drop off a smoothie he bought after she gets out of class, ESSENTIALLY RANDOM ACTS OF KINDNESS in his own weird way.
i don't think he likes sweets either, but if it's something hunter baked, he'd actually eat it—and if it's the sweetest shiet in the whole wide world, something he would never have close to his mouth, he'd force it down. only 'cause it's made by hunter, and he doesn't wanna disrespect her creation. lol, just watch- if hunter storms into the flat he shares with his peeps with cookies in hand, he'd be so selfish and try to hog it for himself. like, he's stupidly possessive, k. even over friends. so i think we got this, nim. | omfg DID YOU SEE WHAT SNOW WROTE DOWN THERE, STELLA. /SOBS GDI, CONTROL YOURSELF, SNOW.okay, but i'm not even gonna deny it — these two are just unbelievable (idk if a good or in a bad way), and like you said, they're the music duo who people wonder why they'd even continue to work with each other when the two look like they want to choke each other most of the time; like, they could make verbal death threats against each other, and the people who do their jobs in the background around them would just ignore it 'cause it's totally normal for them to be at each other's necks. for some reason, they remind me of this couple in youtube who try to outprank each other; i mean, juniper and reno aren't like those two at all, but you kinda wonder why that youtube pair's still together when they trick each other into drinking/licking toilet water, and awful things like that. still, juni and reno somehow click—and again, with what you said, they sort of depend on each other. even though they're complete jerks to each other, she has what he wants: money, and he has what she wants: song-writing skills. they're like two sides of the same coin, i guess! they share a love for music, have personalities that butt heads with each other all the time, but they're not gonna part with each other anytime soon. while reno probably /would/ have quit earlier on in their business relationship (because who'd wanna put up with a difficult client, even if said client was famous), he'd begrudgingly admit that juniper /does/ have a nice voice, and genuinely wants to see her at the top of the charts—both his pride as a song-writer and as a, uh, frenemy(?) demands it so. while money's the main reason why he's still writing for her— still is—i think her dream of having a song hit number one on the billboards gradually became one of his goals, too, like... if she's gonna get her /first/ number one hit, he wants it to be a song he wrote for her. until then, he'd probably put his ambition of becoming a musician on the back-burner. lol, but yeh, if they become a ship, then they become a ship, i don't mind! we'll just go with the flow. | jy + jj relationship is insta-siblingship! and like the jj and jy dynamic, when jj was introduced to the chen family and was distant with the chen kids, reno's gonna be iffy with vera at first 'cause, yeah, /who is dis chick, and why is she so weird/. expect him to shoo her off a lot, make her feel insignificant and unworthy of his air, but ~*~*eventually~*~*~ warms up to her after a number of meetings that take place after gigs. although vera's exasperating to be around, she strokes reno's ego, so he'd tolerate her for that.
I ACTUALLY DON'T HAVE ANYTHING TO OFFER since, idk, jy + jj relationship is kinda self-explanatory to us, so i'm just gonna, like, blip on out. like, all i know is the reno's gonna fret over vera's well-being a bit, take on a brotherly role, like—can she get home on her own? what if some weirdos crawl out while she's walking back from his flat to her place? and thus, won't take no for an answer when he says he will see her home. they could probably do little tunes together for fun, and he'd probably go to her for suggestions on what sweets he should buy whenever there's a special occasion or celebration among his flatmates (like axel getting an impossible promotion, or konrad scoring a job with a big fashion magazine, etc.), and yeh- /crey |

okay so they're about the same age. they're also kind of similar. well - before he was angel, angel was noah parsons who was basically an angry delinquent kid as well. they could have known each other back then? tbh i'm not sure where you wanna take this, depends on how reno would feel about angel as he is now.
angel & julius
ohohohoho okay. angel parties hard so he's always at clubs and bars and probably sees shit go down sometimes. maybe julius interviews him and angel is all about that because like WOW AM I GONNA BE FAMOUS NOW? and he likes cute boys and hitting on them. BUT the actual idea i had was, well, angel's living with his sugar daddy/boyfriend nev who is head of the island's big crime syndicate. julius might be interested in that? angel doesn't trust cops so he'd never sell anyone out willingly, but angel is not the brightest crayon in the box so maybe julius could manipulate some information out of him? initially angel could maybe let something slip that intrigues julius and he can get buddy buddy with him or something idk how he works but yeah?
in a similar vein, jamie & julius
jamie's from a mafia family! that's worth investigating. actually, though i'm not sure jamie would be the best person to uh pursue this plot with tbh but you can hit up someone who maybe plays one of the bigger players in the martinelli fam because that could be interesting!
isobel & reno
i think these two might have an interesting dynamic? neither of them will take any shit, but beyond that they're pretty much opposite. isobel is very uptight and solemn and calm but she wouldn't hesitate to tell reno off if was being a rude ass mofo you know? tbh i'm not sure what direction to go here but it could be interesting...??
aster & julius
maybe aster could be like... one of the people really offput by his whole cheerful talkative demeanor. she pretty much stands on streetcorners holding signs all day, so maybe she'd see him around town, going about business. maybe he says hi to her and stops to chat and she's polite at first and then after the first couple times is like ughhhhhh and she's pretty mistrustful so maybe she's like 'theres no way anyone can be that happy all the time' and she just thinks he's suspicious....?

ahhhhh, algag i'm so glad you took the time to plot! i'll take all that you have to offer since your characters are brilliant. /o RENO & ANGEL oh yes, these two definitely could have known each other back when angel was noah! and when i went to go look at angel's profile, it seems like him and reno could have had this mutual understanding of sorts since they were both teens who spent the majority of their time on the streets, avoiding problems at home. they could have been bros, but at the same time, i also see their relationship as the "i don't wanna talk about it" kind, and that's where the mutual understanding kicks in? like, the reason they stick around the streets is because they're probably trying to ignore whatever personal issues they have going on, so they get it. they /get/ that their lives aren't topics that should be breached 'cause, ugh, why would they wanna face the very reality they're trying to forget, yer knowwww? and maybe, eventually, the boys could become comfortable enough to start confiding in each other about their frustrations, but atm i see them using each other's presence to go terrorizing neighborhoods together, throwing stones at windows of shops, venting anger at poor trash bins, etc.—idk, it's probs therapeutic to share anger with someone in a similar situation, so yeah. i know reno, even without becoming emotionally close to angel, even without confiding to him, would consider him a comrade of sorts. like, if they went through all these rebellious adventures together, it's kinda hard not to have this sense of loyalty? not exactly loyalty, but if something were to happen to noah, he'd want to know what's up, 'cause who else is he gonna be partnered with when it comes to crime? reno cares, and he'd honestly say aloud he cares, too, if he has to. so yeah, if noah one day goes missing without a word, he'd be flipping his shit. and when noah /does/ disappear, he worries, man. goes around the community, pokes around for a missing noah parker, but nothing comes up. idk how reno would feel about angel now, though, but for sure, he'd be pissed 'cause he thought the boy would be pretty much dead by now—that is, if we're assuming that they haven't seen each other in years? if he were to catch a glimpse of angel, i don't think he'd want to admit it to himself that angel = noah. i think it'd just be a wave of conflicting emotions for him, but he'd settle for being angry first 'cause that's just basically his default mood, loool. anywho, that's my take on it? but it's totally cool if they were, and had always been, enemies if you want haters. reno's flexible in that case- |
JULIUS & ANGEL ahaha, angel just gets even greater omg but yes, i absolutely love your idea! julius would definitely hit clubs and bars as part of, like, a documentary about nova athenis' night life, interviewing workers, party-goers about their lifestyle and shit just to get a scope of the environment in that scene, how closely it's tied to the underground, etc., but when gossip surfaces about how a crime boss' lover frequents so-and-so place or whatever, you can be sure he'd be there doing his journalism work, taking bright-eyed interest with "ooos" and "ahhs" with practically everyone he meets. and that's how he eventually comes across angel, who he asks to interview. either way, at that point, he likely wouldn't know of angel's affiliation with the top dog since he's mostly gambling on rumors that came from the streets, and because he's running on a baseless rumor, he also has to assume everyone's tied with the island's top dog in the bar/club angel's at. it's just the process of weeding the oblivious ones out, like- THAT'S PROBABLY THE MOST DIFFICULT FOR JULES 'cause jesus, he'd have to get on super friendly terms with a couple of people as to not be suspicious if he wants to especially hone in on ~*~*~the one~*~*~*. "the one" being angel, more specifically. so once angel says something interesting that captures his attention, he'd be twisting his focus on him while carefully trying to divide his time with other cases, too, attempting not to get too close to the teen and accidentally attract attention for others be liek "who da fuq does this kid think he is getting comfy with angel". but um, yeah, julius would surely want to hang out with angel, and would probably wanna schedule one or two more interviews with him, ask about fashion advice, normal things like that—if only for the sake of, like you've said, getting all "buddy-buddy" and trying to bait some information out. i've no doubt julius would enjoy angel's company, though. i mean, angel's interesting as a person, and probably has a lot of stories to tell that'd captivate jules. likewise, jules would have no problem chatting away about what he's learned in the city whenever he's out hunting for a good article, so aside from the whole manipulation effort, they'd get along swell? it's just kinda unfortunate that it had start from undercover work, but that's what makes their relationship so interesting with the whole fake friendship/being-used dynamic. i've said it, and i'll say it again: i love your idea, 'cause i didn't even know if i'd even have the opportunity to have my character betray people- Bcb |
JULIUS & JAMIE eee-! a mafia kid. i want to give a go at jamie, anyways, mafia or not. maybe we could take a break from the whole manipulation thing angel and julius have, and have something more normal—like an acquaintance thing or something. like, maybe julius gets lost one day, him being still very new to the island, and jamie happened to be a convenient stranger to ask directions from. the next time they meet, julius lost his cell phone, and what do you know, jamie's conveniently there to ask help from. (lool, basically consult a school kid whenever he's got a minor problem, nbd.) anywho, julius is pretty much a wanderer and might as well seem like a weirdo who has nothing important to do half the time, so when he has free time on his hands, no leads to keep him on a trail, he'd mingle with the island inhabitants. jamie's no exception to the fact. jules would just be this grown-ass man who'd act more childish than this polite kid, their mental age swapped or something. nonetheless, he'd take it upon himself to try to liven the youth up, buy him ice cream idk. jules has two younger siblings, so he'd probably treat jamie as he would with them. noogies and everything. |
RENO & ISOBEL you don't know how much i love characters with such contrasting personalities—like fire to water, cats to dogs, dark to light, things like that—so having these two interact would be amazing to see. i don't know where to go with them either, but they could have met when reno's searching for his artsy friend, acheron, since isobel is studying art (from what i gather of her profile)? assuming that they attend the same university, anyhow. or they could have met at, like, a local student/amateur art show, and i'll be using acheron again as an excuse for reno to even be checking out art-involved areas, l-lol. or if isobel visits cafes, reno plays gigs there- EITHER OR, WHEN THEY MEET, hell raises. like, it's just written in fate. and since they both thrive on challenges, get fired up from it, i think they should have this rivalry or little competition against each other, too, just to fuel the intense conflict they'd already have with this whole fire vs. ice dynamic idk. |
JULIUS & ASTER oh gosh, yes, that's perfect. you go, aster, pierce through that conniving mask. but yeah, if he sees her standing in the same street corner every time he swings by the path, jules would be inquisitive enough to chat with her, ask her if she'd want a umbrella if the blazing sun's becoming a bother, and if it's cold, insist that she takes his scarf—overall, be peppy and considerate, 'cause who knows, if she's on the street half of the time, watching, maybe she's seen strange people he could casually, albeit vaguely, inquire about. but shit, as soon as he realizes his social efforts aren't having any affect on her, that aster's iffy about him, he'd be like "ABORT MISSION ABORT ABORT", yet at the same time, he'd know it'd somehow be unnatural to suddenly stop talking to her after striking up conversations with her a couple of times, so he can't abort. and like, while she mentally goes /ughhhhh/ whenever he's nearby, he'd be going /arghhhhh/ when she's in view 'cause it's becoming an obligation to talk to her and he's at this crossroads of trying to be "in-character" and just overall ignoring her. idk i think these two could have this mind game thing going on with how one's skeptical about the other, and the other's trying to keep this believable act. and, like, maybe they're just doomed to bump into each other outside of aster's street corner. doomed. like, one of them goes to get a drink in a shop, turn around, and lo' and behold, there's the other standing in line; and when jules is at a bar doing his journalism thing, there's aster just sitting there (if she visits bars, idk). nevertheless, if julius sees aster, he just /has/ to speak with her, be cheery as fuq, since that's what he'd normally do with anyone he'd recognize, even if that'd probably make her grow more weary- /sob i tried. lots of apologies if some things sound incoherent, IT'S GETTING LATE HERE. orz; |
