HURST, ISOBEL

Isobel was born into the aristocratic Hurst family of England - silver spoons and all. She's the youngest of her siblings and the only girl, so needless to say she grew up spoiled. She didn't exactly grow up bratty because of it, but if she wants something, she will have it, even if she's past the point of relying on others for it.

She had always been good at all manner of things. Not talented, no - just very determined to succeed. Tenacious enough to stick with things, even those she has absolutely no inclination towards. Though, she is intelligent, and that certainly helps.

After finishing school, she took a year off. She finished with an overall impressive academic career between high grades and plenty of extra-curricular activity, but she wasn't sure which direction she was going to go thereafter.

Despite all the options available to her, she went with the least expected - art school, because that was something new. Of course, she bought her way, in given a less than impressive portfolio, though she has gotten pretty good at what she does despite creativity never having been her strong suit.

Isobel loves a challenge, and she loves to win. You could almost call her competitive, but it's not about prizes or prestige for her, and she doesn't care to prove a thing to anybody - anybody but herself. She only bothers with things when she isn't entirely certain she'll succeed, when it's actually a challenge to her.

Her sense of humour is best described as "no, I get it, it's just not funny". That is to say, she has none.
