Industrial boots clicked their way across the hardwood floor as Rocky walked up to the bar, taking a seat on the ragged, leather stool. He banged against the counter to get the bartender's attention and ordered a whiskey. A hard day at work called for a hard drink to go along with it and when the short glass was placed in front of him, the brunette happily took a drink of the caramel liquid inside. It was smooth as it went down, yet it burned but Rocky loved it. It was just the thing to settle down into a quiet night. Although while in the bar, it was anything but quiet. There were people talking, music playing, people dealing out cards at a table across the room and yelling when someone was sure another was cheating. Oh well. He could easily go home and drink, but what fun would that be?

hair back lay it down | Bars were the usual hang out for Dominck after a heist. The only difference to this night and any usual night would be that this heist was a particularly good one. When he walked in, he got the usual wiffs of air that accompanied his favorite hangout. Testosterone and alcohol - always a lovely combination. Taking a seat on a certain worn leather stool, Dominick only had to nod to the bartender before a small glass was placed in front of him.
"Crazy night, am I right?" He chuckled over at Rocky. look at that hello katze. 2 things. 1, i'm sorry it's short qq. 2, he's in a good mood so you get a not-so douchey dominick. | like a vegas girl |

Perking a brow, Rocky looked over at the blue-haired man, but when he saw he was smiling as he spoke, Rocky smiled as well. "Hell yeah, man. One of them guys over at that table across the way 'bout threw a chair few minutes before you got here. Claimed one of his assumed buddies were cheatin', though I doubt he's a buddy anymore," Rocky replied with a chuckle before taking a quick swig of his drink. He let out a sigh, trying to calm the sting that burned at the back of his throat as the whiskey went down. That was great, in a good and not sarcastic kind of way. A talker. Rocky always liked talkers. He hated it when a person would come in and not say anything but cower over their booze and glare.

hair back lay it down | He chuckled along with Rocky, taking his glass and tipping it back, swallowing the burning liquid. "They'll get kicked out eventually if they keep that up. Or if they got much more drunk than they already must be." He turned in his seat, looking over at Rocky. A rare grin rose to his features, feeling a little foreign, but he didn't push it away. Not quite yet. Rocky seemed like someone who could make good company, at least for now, and that was something Dominick needed.
"So what's your story, man?" Everyone at bars had stories - some funnier than others - and while Dominick wasn't the best at small talk, he did know his way around a nice conversation or two. That's what being the son of a resort owner did to someone, it taught him how to be charismatic, albeit against his will. It wasn't like he chose to be friendly when he was given the option not to. pretty sure dominick likes rocky this is actually kind of shocking. | like a vegas girl |

Well waddya know. This guy wasn't so bad. He was smiling and talking and that was just super. "Heh, yeah, I hear ya. Naw, but, don't really have much of a story, sad to say. Just came in here to liven up my night. Get a few drinks in me. I work at the garage not too far from here and it was a slow day," Rocky replied, turning in his seat to face the blue-headed man. He rose his glass a bit, tipped it his way, then took another drink from it, placing the now empty crystal down on the counter. "What about you? You got some story to tell?" He figured he would ask the same, see if the man was any more willing to speak up than he already has. And then belatedly, he holds out his hand towards him, a smile on his face still. "Th'name's Rocky. Figured I'd let ya in on it."

hair back lay it down | He didn't have a story to share, which was a little boring but Dominick didn't pay much attention to that. He was just paying attention to the noise happening all around - it was actually really hard to focus on just one thing with the buzz. Rocky's voice against the crowd's was easy to pick out, thankfully.
A mechanic didn't seem like the type to ask questions. Or the type that Dominick would typically steal from. "a story. kind of." He didn't think that sharing his heist was going to be a good idea one way or another, so he was going to keep that to himself. "i had a great day on the job, really. i'm feeling really generous on top of that."
Pulling out one of his spoils - a gold chain - he dropped it on the table and pushed it over to Rocky. "Here. I don't need it. Pawn it, keep it, whatever. I'll even get a round on me." He was in a really good mood. gjfkgdfsk | like a vegas girl |

When Dominick put the chain down on the counter in front of Rocky, he knew right then he was trying to get rid of it. Rocky knew what it was like, he'd done a few things himself, and taking it seemed like a bad idea. He leaned over towards him and whispered so that only Dominick could hear, an eyebrow perked high, "Not gonna get dragged in, am I?" Hell, he'd take the chain as long as he couldn't get caught up in whatever it was Dominick was running from. Rocky wasn't exactly the richest man in the world and if it meant a few more dollars in his back pocket it was alright with him. Normally, he wouldn't ask, but he didn't even know the guy and suddenly he's getting a chain? Tsk, it was a shame, but sometimes he just had to be careful and watch his back.

hair back lay it down | Dominick laughed. Like, a genuine laugh that resounded in his chest and actually felt rather nice compared to the mocking ones he made every one in a while. Before quite answering Rocky, he took a minute to take a sip of his drink, shaking his head. "No, man, I wouldn't drag someone in like that. One hundred percent garunteed to be untracable." He almost added "i'm a professional" on at the end, but he figured it didn't matter much.
"If it were, I wouldn't be giving it to you. I'd just dispose of it." He shrugged, hoping that it wasn't just going to sit around and collect dust like it was doomed to do if he continued holding on to it. With a chuckle he got a refill of his drink. gjfkgdfsk | like a vegas girl |

Looking at the gold chain, he thought for a moment, then finally reached out and grabbed it, casually slipping it into his jacket pocket. "Last time I was aware, passin' it off to someone else would be considered as disposing," Rocky teased, smirking at the hooligan. He took a swig of his drink, then looked over at the man again, perking his eyebrow once more. "You uh... never did tell me your name. I reckon you won't tell me, huh?"

hair back lay it down | A shrug was given in response to Rocky, as Dominick thought about something to add on. "Ususally. I just don't have any use for a gold chain where I live." Actually, he had something slightly more valuable in his car, but it was more a token for a job well done. He was thinking of framing it.
For a brief moment, Dominick debating using his real name in favor of a fake one. Give Rocky the benefit of the doubt, and tell him something that could trace a petty thief back to the Kirk family line. "You can call me Robin Hood." He flashed Rocky a cheeky grin, laughing a little at his own joke. gjfkgdfsk | like a vegas girl |

"Robin Hood, eh? Going around stealing from the rich and giving to the poor. Sounds like quite the job description.
"How'd you know I was poor, mm? Do I just give off that aura or was it a lucky guess," Rocky teased, not meaning anything by the question. He wasn't even expecting an actual answer from "Robin Hood". "Today must be my lucky day, then. How much do you think that chain will pawn for? Though, realistically, I probably shouldn't. Who knows who might be looking for it. Maybe i'll just hold onto it for a while. Wear it around a bit. Might even be a good conversational starter," he continued on, being goofier than usual.

hair back lay it down | "Something or other."
Dominick shrugged, playing around with the napkin in front of him. "Lucky guess? Intuition? Either way, you'll make better use of it than I will." It wasn't like he needed a gold chain, considering he could easily just buy one himself. Then again, he could easily buy just about anything without the help of his nighttime business, but that didn't stop him.
"Considering it came from a very rich man, it's probably as pure as you'll get nowadays. Couple hundred dollars at least." He wasn't a jeweler, but he did know that the man who he stole from wasn't going to buy some fake gold. "Like I said, it's your's now." gjfkgdfsk | like a vegas girl |

He looked the guy over and smirked again before finishing off his drink. Interesting fellow, "Robin Hood" was. It wasn't difficult to put two and two together. "Are you just bored or somethin'?" Rocky asked, asking for another drink afterwards. "Surely a guy like you could find somethin' else to do besides steal for fun? Or are you tryinna teach someone a lesson?" He was treading on thin ice and he knew it, but with alcohol in his system and not a care in the world, he wasn't to worried.

dominick shrugged. to be honest, he wasn't entirely sure what he was doing any longer. be it boredom, or his own nagging need to try and have a last 'hoorah' before inevitably inheriting the resort. one way or another, he really didn't want to, but he didn't quite have a choice. "something like that." he chuckled, getting a new drink from the bartender, spinning the glass around in his hand. "i'm at least trying to teach someone a lesson."dominick may have been a little under the influence, but he was still able to be careful to not let spill his true identity. not yet, he hoped. Ahh, so that's what it was. Rocky smiled and let out a soft chuckle, glancing over at Mr. Robin Hood, "I can respect that. People's got their reasons. I'm sure yours is just as legit as anyone else's reasons for doing what they do. "It was a shame Rocky didn't know this guy's story in more detail. It seemed like an interesting story, even the slightest bit. He felt like, maybe, since the guy was drinking and seeming to be loosening up, he could wring a little more information out of him. On the other hand, Rocky had no idea who this guy was and for all he knew, he could've been the type to get angry when drunk. Meh, just another bar fight if that happened to be the case. No big deal. Besides, he looked as if he could take on this little thief if he wanted to. His muscles weren't just for show. "Mind me askin' what it was that person--or people--did to you for you to want to seek revenge on them? Can't say you don't seem the type to cause a ruckus for no reason; I hardly know ya. So I'm not gonna pretend like I think you're some kind of saint," Rocky managed to get out, a broad and sly grin pulling at the corners of his lips. He licked them once after, clearing them of the faint taste of whiskey the moment they left the rim of his glass. By now the burn was nice, not at all suffocating like the first few drinks of the initial glass he started with.
