you're something like a phenomena Time to kill was one thing Seraphine had too much of on her hands today. She had spent the entirety of the past week perfecting some new tricks to keep the audience entertained, and felt that a break was long overdue. However, she didn't intend to spend her free day moping around and doing nothing.
Brushing aside the curtain covering the entrance to the tent, Seraphine entered the circus arena. It didn't take her longer than a moment to spot her target. He made a distinctive character, with hair like his. Slipping up behind him quietly, she reached forward and tapped him lightly on the shoulder.
"Hey. You busy?" She inquired. CODED BY DUCKIE OF GS

The blue haired youth was in mid-stretch when a light tap alerted him to the presence of another. He stopped what he was doing to turn and acknowledged whoever it was. As it turned out, it was Seraphine, a fact he was thankful for. “No, not really.” He answered back. He was just killing time after all. “What do you need?” It was rare for the girl magician to come to him for anything. Most people seemed too intimidated by a certain albino to associate with Haven too much. But he was thankful for her boldness. SERAPHINE NIKOS

you're something like a phenomena She didn't really know Haven that well- their skills lay in two entirely different areas, after all. There wasn't generally much need for a fire-breather during an acrobatic routine, nor an acrobat during a fire-breathing routine, and when he wasn't working, he was spending his time with his albino friend. It was almost unsettling for her to see Haven without him.
She didn't bother with small talk. "A lesson." Seraphine replied. "Well, I don't need a lesson, but I'd like a lesson. Just on some basic acrobatic tricks, nothing too complicated." Perhaps it was a bit inappropriate to be asking someone she didn't know all that well to teach her a thing or two, but who else was she going to ask?
Maybe some manners would help. "Please." She quickly tacked on. "If it's not too much trouble. If it is, now's your chance to make up some story about why you can't help me out. Make it entertaining."

The unexpected request caught him by surprise. He hadn’t expected Seraphine to ask him to teach her something completely unrelated to her act. She was a magician and a fire-eater, not an aerialist or even an acrobat. But he supposed he didn’t really know much about her. She was probably interest into expanding her skills or something. “Oh, sure.” He smiled at her. It would be good practice for him too. On his free time, he had taken to training Julius. He was never much of a teacher so it would be great to get some practice in teaching others. “We just need to find somewhere soft.” He looked around for any signs of the practice mats, but he guess they were in use somewhere else. “How about on the beach?”SERAPHINE NIKOS

you're something like a phenomena Seraphine nodded, secretly pleased with how readily he had agreed to her request. She didn't like wheedling things out of people. It was exhausting work, and it made her feel cheap. "Beach sounds fine to me." She replied. Hopefully the sand would prove soft enough to cushion any serious falls. It wasn't like this gig came with health insurance.
Turning on her heel, she marched over to the tent's exit and swept the curtain aside. "Gentlemen first." Seraphine said, performing a little bow in Haven's direction as she held the curtain open for him. Who said chivalry was dead? "Lead on, professor. Do you have a particular patch of sand in mind, or will any old spot do?"

Although he had been a part of the circus for little over a year, there were still some people he hadn’t really had the chance of knowing. Seraphine was one of those people. The chance to spend a little time with her had never really presented itself until now. He was curious to know just what kind of a person she was. “I have a spot in mind.” The beach wasn’t all smooth, powder soft sand. There were shells, rocks and driftwood mixed in. He needed to take her to a spot where the sane was smooth and void of anything that could cause injury. “I’ll lead the way.” He took her to a secluded area on the beach, where he often practiced in private. “All right. Is there anything you really want to learn to do?”SERAPHINE NIKOS
