Honestly, Harper doesn't like Jamie's house. He keeps to himself and often sticks to Jamie whenever he has to go. This time though, this time he's lost Jamie so now he's standing in the main hall waiting for Jamie to come back from where ever he went to. He's nervous and fidgiting in his spot. He hopes Jamie comes back soon because he really doesn't want to meet any of his family right now. They're cool, or at least he tries to think of them like that, but honestly, they scare the shit out of him. PRIMO COHN

Things had become awfully boring since he precious children and nephew began attending school with other children. He almost wished he had made them continue being homeschooled. Sometimes it was nice at times to have them out of the house. As much as he loved those three, he also liked time to himself time and again. Nonetheless, he would have preferred them around. Just as he was thinking about that, he heard a noise from somewhere in the house.
He rose from his bed, stumbling a bit as the blood rushed back to his legs. Sleeping in strange positions was a practice he had to put to an end. Even if he said that now, he probably wouldn’t change anything anyways. It wasn’t important. Finding out who was roaming his house was. He stepped out of the first floor study to find one of Jamie’s friends standing in the room outside. “Aren’t you that boy who has been stealing my precious nephew’s time?”

Harper gulps when a man - a man he assumes to be Jamie's uncle he's heard very little about - and he starts to get more nervous. He prays for Jamie to get back because with a single sentence Primo has made Harper shake in the knees, figuratively but he's scared none the less. He nods, "Y-Yes, y-yes I am!" He stutters more than he normally does, but he doesn't attempt a bad pick-up line. He's been working on it, he hopes he doesn't fuck this up. He prays to Creation or Messenger or Abyss or Discordia or whoever is watching over him, he prays that he gets out of this ordeal alive. PRIMO COHN

Primo stepped closer to the young teen, drawing uncomfortably close. His face was mere inches from Harper and his mismatch eyes almost scolding with the intensity of his stare. What attracted Jamie to him? Why did he spend so much time with this boy? “Who are you? Why does my precious nephew acknowledge you?” He frowned. “I want to know! Tell me.” The man pouted almost childishly as he withdrew from the boy. “I want my dear nephew to happily spend time with me too.”

In a moment, he's close and Harper feels the need to breath even quieter than he already was. He's taller than Harper himself, his more confident than Harper, he's much more intimidating than Harper and Harper wonders if he'll make it out of this alive. "I-I'm, I'm Harper Phoenix, sir a-and h-he acknowledges me b-because we're-we're friends?" Harper doesn't really want to tell Primo how he kissed his nephew, twice. Once while drunk, the other while they were watching a porno, he feels like he'll leave a bad impression if he does. "W-well sir, m-maybe you should t-tell Jamie that, i-instead of me?" PRIMO COHN

There was terror in the boy’s eyes and Primo delighted in it. Something about seeing fear painted across someone’s face was enticing. He needed to see more of it. But it hardly seemed fun if the boy was so easily scared. “His friend?” Primo repeated. The concept was foreign to him. He never had friends before, not like his kids and nephew seemed to have. He had playthings, people he toyed with based on whatever whim struck him.
“That boy. I adore him, but he avoids me. He has been avoiding me more since you two became friends. I don’t like it. Why are you taking my nephew from me? He’s my precious nephew. I still have so much to teach him.” Then Primo suddenly smiled. “Why don’t you stay for dinner? Until then, you can keep me company.” Anything he was talking about before seemed completely forgotten. “Come on boy… Harper, was it? What a peculiar name for a boy.”

"Y-yes his friend, at least, I-I hope he thinks of me a-as a friend..." His words slowly degrade into mumbles, and he thinks Primo can barely hear the words at the end of his sentence. It's funny to hear someone other than himself speak fondly of Jamie. Harper guesses he likes it, likes that other people take interest in Jamie, but then again Primo is family, so he has to take some sort of interest in Jamie. Still, he likes the idea of Jamie getting along with his family, so he makes himself believe it. After all, he doesn't know if Jamie has ever said he didn't get along with his family. "W-well, sir, I-I'm sure we could work something out... l-like... a schedule f-for Jamie? Or something?" A schedule, Harper mentally facepalms and wonders how he thought of that. He says the absolute dumbest things sometimes. Harper thinks he's stopped breathing when Primo asks him to stay for dinner. What does Jamie's family even eat? Harper wonders for a moment if their cannibals before pushing the idea away and naming it stupid. "Um... s-sure, I-I guess... I cou-could..." Harper forgets about Jamie for a moment, it surprises himself really. PRIMO COHN, ugh shitty post is shitty lmao promo ur scarin harper

Primo watched the nervous boy stutter and mumble on. How did such a timid boy become friends with Jamie? He wanted to know. “He is a good boy. My children adore him. But he has not seemed able to make friends until now. I am happy to meet his friend.” He ignored Harper’s comment about schedules. It’s good that he did. Primo? Make a schedule with some kid over when he could spend time with his nephew? Funny. He would have shot the boy for that comment.
Instead, he smiled brightly and snaked his arm around the boy’s shoulders. “Good. I am glad my precious nephew has an agreeable friend.” He guided the boy further into the house. “Has Jamie given you a tour? I assume you have visited here before?” He let his eye wonder around the large entrance hall where they stood. It was a big house, even Primo got lost sometimes. A tour would be interesting at best. “I’ll show you around. Come on, Harper.”

Harper forces a smile. He almost lets an awkward laugh escape his lips, but he stops it before it goes anywhere. He gets the feeling that Primo isn't as happy as he's said he is, but he feels bad for doubting the man. Harper tenses when Primo puts an arm around his shoulders. Oh god, is he going to die. They'll never find the body if he does, or maybe they will. "Y-yes, o-once or twice, t-they were short visits though..." Harper has never had the need to stay longer than that. Honestly, he's sort of glad he's never stayed longer. Harper nods at the offer of a tour, maybe it won't be so bad? Yeah, Harper just keeps thinking that. PRIMO COHN

The boy was still nervous, and he had every right to be. One had to tread carefully when dealing with Primo. Only his kids and Jamie were safe from his erratic mood swings. Harper had luck on his side, however. The Italian was surprisingly steady in his frightfully cheerful temperament. “And Jamie didn’t show you around?” He frowned. “His manners are better than that. My nephew is usually so polite.” Or he was until he began living with his uncle and stopped sleeping.
“It must have slipped his mind. He’s always so absentminded.” Primo loved to dote on his sweet nephew, though the feeling was obviously not reciprocated. The boy actually seemed more afraid than adoring of his uncle. Primo barely paid it any mind. He simply thought the boy a bit odd as all their family was, though he was certainly the oddest. He took the boy around the mansion, giving brief explanation of the rooms. “You should come over more often. I would love to see more of my sweet nephew’s friend.”
