| weston johnson 18 student Weston Johnson – average freshman college student. Mostly. He likes to stay behind the scenes and out of the limelight most of the time, although he loves to be around people. Aside from studying Digital Art & Animation Design, Weston works part-time at a beach rental shop. If he’s not playing video games or reading comic books on his time off, Wes is most likely fishing. But he has secret only a select few know about. When he’s too intimidated by someone/something, he gains courage from becoming his secret alias: The Caped Carp. (see profile) With his identity ‘hidden’ from the rest of the world, he’s able to perform random acts of kindness and good deeds throughout the city. FRIENDS Weston would love some friends! But some people might think he’s kind of weird. And he doesn’t talk too much unless you talk to him first, so I can see how this category might be small-ish. But he’s pretty adorkable, and could really use a friend or two to look out for him. I would love a mentor for Wes that has some patience with him and tries to get him out of his shell more; without the costume. In return, Weston is probably the most loyal and thoughtful person you will ever meet. He loves to be around people that are happy and really treasures his friends. Like, A LOT. After all - Every hero needs a good sidekick, right?!
ADVERSARIES I do expect some enemies for him. Well, more like people who pick on and take advantage of him. It’s really easy to boss Wes around and I doubt he would stick up for himself. He would be more likely to say something if he sees someone else being bullied instead; And even then he would probably have to dress up like The Caped Carp to have enough guts to say anything. I’m sure there will be people who don’t like him because he’s weird, or they don’t understand him, or because he follows the rules and it just might piss some people off. It's not a story without a hero and a villian!
ROMANCES Think you’re his damsel in distress? Bahaha Not likely, sorry. I feel like Weston sort of plays that role himself. First of all, I just want to say I’m open to any and all suggestions you may have! Weston would be considered asexual. The kid has never even been on a real date and can barely even manage to speak when he’s talking to a girl alone. Whoever he ends up with is probably going to wear the pants in the relationship and drag him around at their own pace. Hopefully they’re someone who actually appreciates that Wes would do literally almost anything they ask of him. I’ve never really RPed this before, but I can more likely see Weston in a relationship with another guy than a girl. But I’m open to all plots, like I said!

Yo, Emeryyyy! I'm here to raid your plotter, and must I say, you're working it like a pro. So stoked to finally be able to plot with your baby!
Anyway, I'll get to the point! We've pretty much agreed that Weston and Reno will be cousins, which I am totally excited about because- ahhh, family! To any other person, the red-tufted pair would probably be the unlikeliest relatives with how wildly different their personalities are: one's pretty meek and doesn't seem to have much of a backbone, whereas the other's fiery and talks with his fist most of the time. Hard to believe they fell from the same tree! While Reno's definitely protective of his friends and family, Weston especially holds a soft spot in his heart. By no means would Reno suddenly be nice per se (or actually be considerate enough to hold his tongue whenever he converses with his younger cousin), but he would find himself not being able to say no if it concerns something Weston's really passionate about, like say, helping the community.
I think you suggested that Reno would also know of Weston's Caped Carp identity, right?—which, to Reno, is embarrassing as hell. He'd gripe about it, scowl at the idea of Weston hopping around the city in a costume ('cause it's pretty lame in his opinion), but he'd begrudgingly follow his cousin from a distance so he doesn't do anything foolish, like accidentally getting into trouble with thugs, for instance. Should Weston ever accidentally get into a tango with some rough guys, you bet your pretty face Reno would be there in a blink to throw some fists. He won't let anyone lay a finger on his silly little cousin. Bc !!
I imagine that these two would be close, maybe not in the "I'll divulge all of my secrets to you" kind of close, but the kind of close that—because they're family—they know what's up whenever something personal happens; like, a few years back, Reno and his mother got into a car accident, and besides his father, Weston's family would probably be notified as well. Things spiraled down from there, and with his mother buried six feet under, Reno wasn't exactly a star kid, and his father wasn't emotionally, mentally capable of being a father after the loss. Because of that, Reno stayed away from home often, and I think he'd go to Weston's place unannounced and just sleep on the couch without much of an explanation. Even without having to explain himself, though, I'm sure Weston would be able to sympathize, and annnnd uhhh yerhhh.

emery emery emery! waahhh, i'm so happy that weston's back and is as cute as ever <3 anyways, i'm just gonna throw all my charries at you, k?
CRISTIN && WESTONfirst off, here's cristin, second year university student majoring in nursing. i have no doubt that she would just /adore/ weston. she'd treat him like the little brother she never had. you can expect her be all motherly and act like a big sister to him. she'll try to fend off weston's bullies and will patch him up after he gets pulled into a fight. and if you're looking for a mentor who will try to coax him out of his shell then cristin here can be that mentor. she would definitely make it her responsibility to gently push him out there bit by bit. expect her to text him from time to time about hanging out and have lunch together. like, during lunch, she might encourage him to go and ask a familiar face if he could sit with them and then watch from afar. and if they say yes, she'll just continue to watch him from a few tables away and if they say no, then she'll encourage him to try someone else or he can just sit with her if he feels like it's too much. yeah, something along those lines.
and here we have konrad. he's childhood friends and flatmates with reno, so perhaps they met before when they were younger through reno? if cristin is like a big sister to weston then konrad is like the big brother! being the overprotective kind, he would undoubtedly look after weston and would try to make sure that he doesn't get picked on. they are in the same year and despite them being in different majors (konrad's in veterinary science) they might have a class together? maybe a general education class or something.and yeah, i honestly think that weston might be a good friend for konrad. like, because of his more timid and quiet personality, he's someone that maybe konrad can just relax with when he's tired. (the guy works his head off with modeling and trying to be at the top of his class; both which relates to a deal with his father)cause sometimes he just might want a more quiet company, you know? and weston just might be one of those companies. and if weston can encourage him and make sure that he doesn't overwork himself then that would be lovely as well.
and last but not least here's luke. a seventeen year old high school student who has a camera as an extra limb. like konrad, luke is childhood friends with reno, so if you want they could have met since they were young as well. like, perhaps as young as elementary or maybe in middle school. whatever works with you. anyways, luke wouldn't think much of weston at all. he doesn't think of much anyone to be honest and in the beginning he would probably keep on forgetting that reno even had a cousin named weston, lol. cause i don't think they would hang around each other often since like i said, luke doesn't give a crap, weston's shy and they aren't in the same year. but if luke ever sees weston being picked on by some bullies, he would try to help the boy because luke himself has a tendency to get picked on often because of his small size (and smart mouth)with reno constantly coming to the rescue. so with luke barely able to defend himself against his own bullies when they get rough, how could he help weston fight against his? answer is obvious. he can't. if it's a verbal fight then luke can win, but if the fight turns physical then he doesn't stand a chance. there would be times in which he would manage to help make an opening so that they could both escape. other times, they would just both end up left behind as victims and other times, i can see reno having to come and save them both, lol.
and here's where we have the issue on the caped carp. so luke's in love with photography ever since he picked up his first camera at age twelve and he would spend a lot of time wandering around the island talking pictures. he publishes a few, enters some in contests and takes photos for a few magazines here and there. now, if he runs into the caped carp, you have no doubt that luke would be hot on this odd hero's tail to get some good shots every time he runs into him. and if maybe, a magazine or local newspaper is in need of pictures of this mysterious little local hero, luke might just take up on the offer of earning a few cents and be even more persistent in trying to get good photos. but honestly, most of the time it'll just be because he just wants good photographs for the sake of satisfying his passion for photography than anything else.
