She really wasn't sure why she had decided to appear in front of her siblings' apartment door unexpectedly, but there the raven-haired woman was. A tray of coffee in hand, she knew the two of them may enjoy a cup. While this was a new place for them, she also knew the majority of the people they were now living with. And to be honest, she was rather uncomfortable with her little sister living in a house full of boys. Though, to be honest, Desideria always thought that Acheron was more likely to be interested in her brother than anything. The woman shook her head, then tapped on the door. When no answer came, the woman nudged open the door, no surprise that it wasn't locked, and made her way inside. Lacie had sent her pictures of the flat when they had first moved in, so she knew at least the main layout. Walking into the kitchen, Dex shook her head at the pile of dishes that were in the sink, and placed the tray of coffees down. The older woman rolled up her sleeves as she moved towards the sink. "These better not be left for Lacie to do" She mumbled to herself as she started filling the sink up with water. While she did that, she grabbed her coffee, glancing around the room and taking in the details. From what the twins had told her, there were five people living here, all guys other than Lacie. She knew of at least the other three, had heard their names. Acheron, Reno and Konrad, if she wasn't mistaken. She turned back to the sink before in unfilled itself, then set to work It was habit, really. Whenever she got home from work, she would do the dishes. Even living with the twins for a time, that was the first thing she would do, with her gun still strapped to her waist. She paused in her washing as she heard the door open, not turning around. "Hey, Axel. I hope that's you. I brought you and Lacie some coffee. I was on this side of town" Dex called, turning as she heard someone come down the hall. tag: @konrad ▪ shh she's not breaking and entering, what are you talking about? |

Konrad sighed as he reached the the floor of his apartment. Well, that was a busy day today. Group project to work on in the morning, rushing off for two photo shoots, back to the rest of his group members for an hour to help them get the rest done and now finally back at his place where he could just hopefully throw himself in bed for a while until having a late dinner. Evening was already starting to approach so he wouldn't be getting much sleep if he were to be having dinner at the usual time.
Turning the doorknob, he let out yet another sigh upon finding that it wasn't locked. Alright, who forgot to lock it this time? They were pretty much inviting robbers in at this rate.
Closing the door behind him, he made his way down the hallway, only to be stopped by having a voice calling out. It was a woman's voice and definitely didn't belong to Lacie. However, the way she had mentioned Axel and Lacie as if they were close...Wait, could it be...?
He made his way into the kitchen and found a woman standing by the sink, hands wet and sleeves rolled up. He stood by the entrance as he observed her. "Desideria Jones, am I right?" he asked her. He knew that Axel and Lacie had an older sister but he had never really met her before. He remembered of having caught glances of her here and there when they were little, but those were few and so no real clear image of her face was printed on his mind.
"Axel's probably still out with Lacie. She said something about dragging him outside to buy some new clothes." Something that he applauded her for because Axel really did need to step outside of this place.
He took a step forward into the kitchen. "You didn't have to wash them," he said, eyeing the dishes in the sink. "Please sit down and make yourself at home. I'll take care of them." | words: xxx tag: DESIDERIA JONES notes: no idea where this thread is going, but uh, yay for thread with rav |

Of course it wasn't her troublesome brother. Why would she be that lucky? As of late, she hadn't had the best luck, considering she had just returned from a holiday and already thrown on an assignment. A sigh escaped her as she saw a brunette walk around the corner instead of her red-haired brother. It figured as much, but what could she do. Her eyes turned from the sink, back to the brunette after a moment, a sheepish smile on the raven-haired woman's lips. "Just call me Dex. Only my parents call me Desideria, and Axel when he's whining for my attention" She commented, grabbing the dish towel beside her and wiping her hands. She tilted her head towards the tray of coffee. "Since Axel's not here, you can take his. I'll put Lacie's in the fridge, just make sure she gets it? It's made how she likes it" The police officer said as she paused in washing the dishes, taking the coffee for her younger sister, then place it in the fridge. She then took a drink of her own before turning back to the sink. She laughed quietly at Konrad's offer to take over what she was doing. Dex merely shook her head. "Don't worry about it, really. I haven't mothered those two in awhile. Plus, from what I heard, Lacie's been over-working herself again" The woman said with a smile. She rolled her shoulders back as she finished with the dishes that were in the sink, drying her hands off as best she could with the already damp towel, then draped it over the oven handle to dry. She soon turned back to Konrad, leaning against the counter as she pulled her sleeves down. "You must be Konrad. You aren't Acheron, I know him pretty well. And you aren't the other red-head, who's name I always forget. So you must be Konrad." She commented, a laugh under her breath coming from her lips. "The calmest one out of the bunch, as Lacie has told me"tag: @konrad ▪ idk either man |
