Hello and thanks for glancing at my thread. I just finished cram school and have avoiding my new PS3 until I was done. Now I'm ready to get some games. I really like RPGs (especially where you can customize your character) but I am not a fan of First Person Shooters. I can only play Mass Effect and some Red Dead Redemption before dying a horrible shameful death. ^^;
I already have Skyrim for Xbox 360, but not the Game of the Year Edition.
I have Persona 3 FES, Persona 4 (both the original and GOLDEN).
The PS3 that I have is the rare converted one where you can play PS1, 2 and 3 games. I got it in near perfect condition for 150 bucks. It's just a bit dusty. So really, recommend 2 and 3 games for me. I can also hook up to the Internet (I cannot with my 'Box for some reason) and purchase MORE games.

ive only played ps2 so ill rec my favs. i loved xenosaga, final fantasy x, and kingdom hearts. they're all jrpgs.

Ah, I have a Xenosaga game on Wii, one Final Fantasy on Xbox and the first Kingdom Hearts game on PS2. I do like Xenosaga, but the controls on the Wii frustrate me. xD

you should check out ffx. imo, its the best in the series. also, its a note that that every ff game is a new world, new character, new story, and nothing is related.... except for that they all have chocobos and an rpg quality.

oops this is super old but the hunt for brill games never ends k. ALSO OMG I LOVE THE OLD PS3 I HAVE ONE TOO
anyway MY LIST R
Shadow of Colossus HD (ps3) - pree old n hard to find but totes amazeballs
odin sphere (ps2) - beautiful art, omg so beautiful. abt $30 on ebay and in used game stores. got mine on ebay. downside is that 1) im really bad at it and 2) loading times are kinda long, BUT the story is so good.
valkyria chronicles (ps3) - probably one of the best strategy rpgs on the ps3, like fire emblem levels, but it's reaaallly old by now so you might have to hunt
time & eternity (ps3) - definitely intriguing, but i've heard mixed reviews and haven't bought it myself, but it's also very pretty and unique so you should defs check it out
Kingdom Hearts Remix HD (ps3) : probs you heard of it but it's just KH1 + extras in HD, so yeah pretty awesome
Ni no Kuni : ghibli + games. how can it get any better?
other ps2 games i'm fond of include star ocean, final fantasy X AND X-2, i really liked X-2 costume and combat system, shadow hearts covenant, and rogue galaxy (defs a gem)
note remakes of both KH2 and FFX-X2 are being made so you should probably pick them up when they come out in HD glory.

ahhhhh thanks guys! I have a few of these for Xbox all ready, and picked up Wrath of the White Witch for my first game for the PS3. I /do/ have Okami for the PS2... and I beat it. ^^; So I don't see myself buying it again. But I looooove that game. So beautiful~
I'll keep a look out for these games, definitely. Ahhhh you guys are the best!
