Even as a child, Clyde Barrow was not one to really 'notice people.' The fact of the matter was that his eyes were probably really on the wallet in your pocket no matter how much it may seem like he was talking to you. Not that this should excuse the fact that he had gone without actually knowing the family living next door to his own, but it probably was one of the reasons - the other reason being that it would be foolish to even consider stealing from one's own next door neighbours.
Things tend to change when one least expected as they would say, however, and on a night when he was finally home for once, it just so happened that the lights in the house next door were on. With the realization that he possessed little to no knowledge on the residents inside, denim blue eyes blinked a few times.
Sliding down from the pillow fortress at the side of the bunk bed, the blonde cleared out the pockets of his shorts. Stuffing stolen goods under the pillow at the very bottom, he looked to the neighbouring house again. A grin of sorts on his face, the ten year old snuck out of the window of his room, shared with no other than his two brothers.
Crows resting on the tree seemed to have noticed the sudden movement and cawed, but Clyde paid no mind to the birds and instead, made a hop over the edge of the roof. It wasn't that difficult to jump from a second storey building, really, especially when he's gone through more dangerous things in his life thus far.
Minutes passed('cause I'm too lazy to describe how he got in), and the ten year old quietly slipped himself through the door of a room - a room with the lights on. He glanced around, taking in the decorations he was surrounded by and mentally noting down any possible hiding place... that he didn't actually plan on using even if someone walked in right at this moment. Being discreet/secretive just wasn't a preference of his.
