It was exciting to actually be having a little sleepover with someone. Since her stay at the island, Camille was the first person she's really met and gotten to know. It was wonderful! Raz stood outside Camille's house awkwardly, holding some of her things for an overnight stay. She sheepishly pushed the doorbell, waiting for the door to open and let her in. Belatedly she hoped that she remembered everything before leaving her apartment. As she waited, she dug through her overnight bag to make sure it was all there, mainly checking to see if she'd brought her toothbrush, toothpaste, and a hairbrush with her. She couldn't stand sharing things like brushes with people, toothbrushes were an obvious no-no. With a sigh, she smiled and closed up the bag when she found everything had been packed up and put into their place. She wondered what it would be like inside? Her own apartment was pretty small, but comfortable for one or two people. Would it be like that inside Camille's home? Ahh, she was worrying too much about things that didn't matter and she shook her head, giving it a light tap to get her mind clear. She was going to have fun! No worrying, no shyness, no being scared of new people, and definitely no being overly quiet. Her hands gripped her bag tighter and she gave herself a nod, reassuring herself once again. Boy, meeting new people was really difficult, huh?

Her radio was pastel pink and vintage-looking, piping the fuzzy tune of an old song that Camille hummed along to. She was setting things in order before her guest arrived. The final touches to her cozy apartment, where everything was sweet tones of pink and gingerbread, mismatched, from antique doilies on her coffee table to the sleek shelving displaying pretty porcelain figures in the front room. Everything was feminine and pretty, the common thread that prompted her to collect it all. Her guest had arrived - she had been listening with sharp ears, and now she smiled, dusting her hands off on her smock before she rushed to the door. "Raz!" She started exclaiming even before she'd unlatched the door, pushing it open with a smile. First order of business was stepping into the hall and throwing her arms around the other woman. She had such a sweet smell, sweet as Raz herself, as Cami pulled back with a grin. "I'm glad you made it!"RAZ DUBOIS

Raz's eyes opened wide at the sound of the other girl's voice echoing through the apartment. Before she knew it, the door was flying open and Camille's arms were wrapped tight around her. She grinned, letting out a soft giggle at the excitment Camille seemed to have at just having Raz there. "H-hey, Cami... I hope I'm not... late or anything. I just wanted to make sure that I had everything--I did by the way," she replied took a look into the apartment from where she stood. "We should uh... head inside, right?" Just from the doorway, everything inside seemed so pretty and sweet and all pastels and everything that suited Camille. It was like her personality exploded into being and created her living space. Raz noted that it was very cute and homey. "Are you baking something? It smells so sweet..."

"No, no, you're just in time! Come in!" Camille said with a nod and a hand on the other girl's back to guide her inside. Her apartment wasn't very large, but it was ample space for one person, and not too crowded for the two of them either. "No, but we could if you like!" She laughed lightly, leading the way into the living room then past that into her bedroom, motioning towards the bed. "You can leave your things here, make yourself at home."RAZ DUBOIS

Raz smiled when she stepped inside the warm home, walking through towards the bedroom and taking everything in. Once inside the bedroom, Raz put her belongings down onto the floor beside the bed, then took a seat on it, looking all around the room. "You have such a lovely home. It really does suit you," she commented, smiling warming all the while. Everything Camille seemed to do happened to make Raz smile with delight. The beautician was so likable and sincere. "Maybe.... We could make cookies?" Raz ended up asking, looking up at Camille from the bed. She normally doesn't partake in the consumption of sweets, but tonight was meant for fun and she could definitely make an exception for Camille.

"Aw, thank you!" Camille beamed at the compliment. "It's all the nicer with you here, Raz." She joked. Raz seemed content to sit and look over the bedroom, so Camille just stood to the side and waited for her to take in her fill of the sugary decor. At the suggest of cookies, her hands clapped together eagerly. "I have ingredients... I think." Camille wasn't much of a baker. Or a cook, for that matter, though she knew enough simple recipes to get her by. She motioned for Raz to follow as she turned and headed from the bedroom. "So." she began as she led her to the small kitchen. "What's new since the last time we've talked? It's been forever, huh?"RAZ DUBOIS

Raz rose up off the bed when Camile instructed to follow. She smiled, twisting with the ends of her hair sheepishly, "Aheh, well not much... I just had a performance a few days ago and it went really well... Everyone seemed to love it."One of the things Raz was proud of was her ability to dance. She had no qualms with promoting herself or praising herself for her skill. "You really should do my make-up for shows... I think you'd do a very good job at it," she added, her voice a little soft. "Your make-up is really pretty every time I happen to see you. I'm so jealous."

"Ooh, I wish I hadn't missed it." Camille said - she'd seen Raz perform, and she'd been awestruck. She couldn't make it to every show with her work schedule, but she very well would have if it were possible. "I'd love to! You just call me, next time, love." She chirped, pausing once she reached the kitchen, tapping a finger to her chin thoughtfully. "Well, I happen to be jealous of your beautiful dancing." Camille responded with a wink and a giggle before crossing to crouch by a cupboard in search of baking supplies. RAZ DUBOIS

The raven followed into the kitchen and she leaned up against the counters as she watched Camille look for baking supplies. A small smile rose to her face as she watched, pleased that Camille was so happy to hear about her performance and so eager to do her makeup the next time she performed. That made Raz really happy and she played with the ends of her hair idly. "I definitely will, then! And you'll get to see the show for free, too. I think that's one of the best parts, don't you?" Raz asked, starting to feel more comfortable in the new environment the more she stood there and conversed. "Oh! Do you need any help?"How rude of her. There she was just chatting away about her performances and Camille was having to do all the work by herself. Raz couldn't believe that she'd hardly been there five minutes and already she was being a bit inconsiderate.

She pulled a bowl from the cupboards, put it onto the kitchen table. It wasn't very big - it seated four at the most, though there were only two chairs. The tablecloth was off white, patterned with little bows. "Oh, yes!" She didn't mind Raz sitting back - she couldn't expect her to know where everything was when Camille herself had trouble finding things sometimes. "Why don't you check the fridge for the butter and eggs."Already, she was crossing to another set of cupboards for the rest of the ingredients. RAZ DUBOIS

Without waiting another moment, Raz made her way over to the fridge and looked for the butter and eggs, finding them easily enough, and brought them to the table with the bowls Camille had brought out. She didn't notice the table cloth before, but she did make a mental note of it now, that it was really cute, and again, was something that suited Camille almost too perfectly. Everything in her house was just so perfect that Raz almost couldn't stand it. She loved it so much and found it all too cute! "You said that you didn't bake much, right? What are some things that you've baked? If... you have baked things prior to this, I mean," Raz asked, curious as to what kinds of things her friend could do besides do amazing makeup and look absolutely flawless.

She brought the rest of the ingredients in armloads, quickly crossing the small space back and forth several times until everything was laid out on the table. "Well," Camille looked up in thought. "I baked with my parents as a kid - cookies, brownies. Once I tried to make a cake for my dad's birthday." She giggled at the memory, the amused glimmer in her eyes painting the outcome clear. "How about you?" She turned to Raz with a tilt of her head, hoping she had some more experience. RAZ DUBOIS

She giggled at the sight of Camille's expression when she thought back what Raz could only assume was a pleasant memory. I bake sometimes, when I like to treat myself or reward myself, though most of the time I try to eat healthy," Raz replied with a smile. God knows that sweets weren't healthy. "Usually if I want something sweet, I try to keep it to natural sugars... Like from fruits! I really like smoothies a lot. It's what I make most of the time when my sweet tooth starts to act up."

"Right," Camille agreed. Raz was a dancer, she had to eat healthy, and Camille tried to watch what she ate too. "Sweets aren't very good for skin either - but that's never stopped me." She admitted - Camille was very far from the slim figure of a ballerina, though she didn't envy Raz as much as admire her. "Well, it's just for a night!" She added brightly. "We deserve a treat!" Camille declared, popping a chocolate chip from the package into her mouth with a grin. She stood with her hands on her hips, surveying the arrayed ingredients a moment before she set to work, spilling the first of the ingredients into the bowl for stirring. RAZ DUBOIS

Raz smiled warmly at her and gave her a nod in agreement. She walked over beside Camille and started to mix together other things to help her along. There wasn't any point in her being rude and just standing around when Raz could help! Every now and again she'd steal a chocolate chip or two or five. She was allowed to tonight; Camille said so. When everything was mixed together, she handed her bowl over to Camille and popped a few more chocolate chips into her mouth, though making sure not to eat them all. "It would be really boring not to eat sweets every once in a while. Just to eat healthy all the time would be no fun at all. What're a few rules without breaking them sometimes?"It was fun being around Camille. She helped Raz out of her shell and helped her to feel comfortable. Not many people really did that.
