CRIMSON AND CLOVER, OVER AND OVER. The way he spoke made it seem like anyone could just sweep him away as long as there was food involved, and something about that didn’t sit well with Cassiopeia. It made her feel like just another girl, any other girl, but that wasn’t the case here. She was special, wasn’t she? Of course she only had a vague recollection of where the cookies were, let alone remembering what kind they were, but it wouldn’t be hard to guess. “Peanut butter and chocolate, I think.” Probably even homemade, if she left it untouched. “As for dinner... depends on what you feel like having, of course.” She smiled lightly, pushing through door after door and pulling the boy straight into the brightly lit bathroom. It was just way she left it, the tub overwhelmed by the pile of soap bubbles and colourful bottles of product lined its side neatly. The maid was long gone, probably wiping up some mess somewhere else. Cassiopeia detached herself from Addie, fingers pointed around as she mentioned things, “There's the tub, even though it's kind of hard to see right now... but just soak in for a bit. There's the chute for dirty laundry." 'Laundry' that'd go straight to the incinerator. She finished with a hand propped on her waist, looking up. "I'll trust you not to drown yourself while I go look for the cookies?”

| Addie thought it funny that he wasn’t afraid of Cass the way he was of other girls. She was still terrifying in her own right, but not in the same way as anyone else. Any fear he had towards Cass was completely rational. The casino owner was, after all, far more frightening any the average woman. He enjoyed her company nonetheless. Cass was special. He wouldn’t have let her convince him to live in a casino teeming with numerous women if it were anyone else.
“I haven’t had those in a long time,” commented the purplette. His mouth was withering at the prospect of not only cookies but all the possibilities of foods he could have for dinner. “Actually, Ihaven’t had any kind of cookies in a while. This is blasphemous.” Addie gasped playfully and wearing a wide grin as he was pulled along behind the albino woman. “Not having cookies should be illegal or something. Why isn’t it illegal? Who allows people to go without cookies?”
The man was being a bit silly, though Cass didn’t seem to mind him and his quirks. “There’s a lot of food to choose from. I think you should pick. I don’t think I’ll be able to decide on my own.” It wasn’t long until they were standing over a mountain of suds, which Cass indicated was the bathtub. He was already shedding clothes when his childhood friend questioned him. “I’ll try not to,” he replied. “But I might get lost somewhere in all these bubbles.”

Her head bobbed up and down as Addie rambled on about the cookies, smirking, amused to see that at least one of them hadn’t grown up yet. Maybe even a little glad. Everything changes when people grow up, and a lot of times not in the most pleasant way, not in the way she wanted them to. But at least one of them stayed the same.
“Well, that’s…” eyes rolled like she had actually put some thought into the situation, “good enough for me.” And there he went already stripping off what he passed off as a shirt, obedient like a puppy should. The exposure didn’t bother her like it should for any other good little rich girl. She was used to it, to more, better, that she the only thing she noticed was how he could use a little more meat on those bones.
She left the bathroom at that, door slightly ajar, leaving Addie free to explore to his heart’s content, really.
Food was on the top of her list. She simply rang the kitchen and told them "surprise me", before mentally crossing off that line. It took a bit of rummaging for Cass to gather together everything she was looking for, clothings among other things flung over her shoulders as they were eliminated. Tin of cookies, boxers, a white oxford shirt and dark jeans to match.

| Sinking into the mountain of scented bubbles, he could feel the layers of grime melting off his skin. He didn't want to know the color of the water beneath. The time between his last bath and now was so spaced that Addie had lost track. But he didn't mind, in fact, he liked it. His only qualm with his chosen homelessness was the scarcity or quality of food. Most things available to him were found in dumpsters.
Of course, he wasn't going to complain about having to take bath to get a meal and a warm place to sleep. Spending time with a old friend wasn't bad either. Even if she was a girl, he grew up with Cass (though she still scared him). He could at least talk to her without having a panic attack. And she promised not to tell his parents where he was, despite knowing they were looking for him.
He scrubbed clean his greasy hair and grimy body. Dirt came off his skin in brown rivulets, leaving his skin a shade or two lighter. When he was clean, he stepped out and gave himself a good sniff. He didn't smell anymore, unless citrus wasn't a fragrance that appealed to you. "Cass?" Addie called out, standing above the fluffy mountain of suds. He couldn't see any signs of a towel.
No big deal. He climbed out of the tub then gave himself a good shake before waltzing out of the bathroom in search of his hostess, naked as the day he was born. At least he was clean. "Cass? Where did you go?" He peered beyond the door into the empty hallway. Curiosity compelled him into the hall and to the first door he saw. Opening it, he looked in and closed it when he didn't find any trace of Cass then moved on to the next. | |

The bathroom was empty when she returned; Cassiopeia couldn't say she didn't expect this. Sighing—the slightly miffed sigh that one'd hear from the owner of a large, lively mutt—the heiress hung up the clothes in her arms and traded them for a fluffy white towel.
Tracking down Addie had been the easy part, all she had to do was follow the messy wet trail on the tiles, then the carpet, the some more tiles until she caught sight of the puppy, and let out another sigh. Cassiopeia snuck up from behind, throwing the towel over his head.
"I forgot to tell you to stay, did I?" She joked, one hand ruffling the towel bad-naturedly. "Let's go and get you dressed, sweetie, before you scare away any customers." Though it wouldn't be the first time a naked man had passed these halls... she would rather keep this one to herself. Cassiopeia paused, before taking a deep breath and grinned up at the runaway, "The food is ready, too." @addie

| His sopping hair clung to his face and neck, dripping water in thin rivulets down his skin. Addie was unfazed by the dampness. The heat warming the casino made him feel quite comfortable despite it. Nevertheless, he welcomed the sudden presence of fluffy softness on his head. He looked over his shoulder to the woman who at thrown it there. "Oops, was I supposed to wait?"
She didn't seem angry so he took it lightly, grinning back at her. Addie was shameless but it seemed welcomed by Cass. His childhood friend was far from embarrassed after all. So he didn't bother wrapping the towel around himself until after he'd dried his hair some. "You have clothes for me?" He asked. "I couldn't find my clothes." Of course, he did nothing more than a quick glance around.
"Did you throw them out?" His stomach piped up at the mention of food, deciding conversation wasn't important enough to put off eating any more. "What's for dinner?" He question eagerly. "I am starving!" Waiting expectantly for her to take the lead, he stood with a dumb grin on his lips. There were so many food places and the smells coming from them were all so mouth watering. He could hardly wait.

Words just came out in streams from Addie, question after question after question. Answering them all seemed unnecessary, and absolutely exhausting, so Cassiopeia stayed quiet until she was sure that he was all done.
It was... cute, in a new born puppy kind of way, although she couldn't even begin to comprehend his excitement over the things that she found simple and mundane. It hadn't been this easy for her in a long time.
"Don't worry, I'll take care of it." Cassiopeia spoke with a hidden tone of authority. She glanced around, before holding onto him by the wrist, leading him into one of the dozen doors with none of the discretion a woman should have when dragging away a man in only a towel. The grill house wasn't exactly the fanciest place there, but it would serve the purpose of adding some meat to the pile of skin of bones that Addie was. Whether Addie was properly dressed for the locale wasn't of import but she got a waiter to retrieve the clothes when they got in, anyways.
A half flight of stairs led to a secluded space with just enough elevation to look down the main dining area. She sat down on one side of the small booth as a server pulled out her chair, motioning Addie to sit across from her with a nod. "Let's get a rack of ribs for the puppy to start with." Cass told the bow-tied man without looking at him, "And anything else you feel like eating, sweetie."
