[attr="class","up"] THE PERFECT WORDS THAT I'VE NOT SPOKEN Pumped, she was absolutely pumped to get out on those waves. Her steps were nearly skips and she couldn't help but smile. "Miss Claude? Make me feel like washin myself, no thanks." She burst out laughing, positively elated to be in the company of Paris.
"There is lots man! Lots, you could just go out there yeah but first do you even know the basics?" Claude's board fell with a thud to the sand and she sat on it. "Ok first of all when your running out there in all your tanned glory ya not gonna stand on the board right away."
She demonstrated the starting position of laying belly first, pushing up and then standing. "Although, if you really think ya heart is singing go for the waves and just do it bro." Both of her thumbs went up and the smile never left her face, she made she he at least tried it once on land before giving him the ok.

“well, you're in the right place to wash yourself miss claude, y'get me?” he heard what she said and while paris dropped miss claude it wasn't long before another nickname rolled in, “professor ochoa? prof? that work for you love?” not saying that he wouldn't not use it if it didn't work for her, of course.
but paris soon found himself rolling his eyes at the word “basics”. he dropped his board with his own loud thud, settling down on the board's surface with another thud. chin resting on his palm, elbow resting on thigh he watched her fairly obediently but learning for even a split second just didn't seem fun to paris. attention already waining as he dimly considered how many ways you could possibly stand on a board he gave a faint, “a'right.”
“so how's you stand right, then?” paris asked (spoiler alert: he wasn't really gonna listen to the answer). he watched her demonstrate but he did nothing the same, pushing himself up after she mentioned listening to your heart. that was more like it, innit? what he heard surfing was about.
“now that's more like it mate,” thudding his chest with ~~reckless masculinity before he picked up the surfboard, breathless emphasis on his next word, “'cause i feel it singing, trust.”
shrieking, more like, because paris' encounter with the waves were anything but melodic. he hadn't stumbled into the water but he wanted to make sure he could run in before claude would stop him and his technique was a poor, horrible imitation of claude's demonstration when his first “chance” to surf came. his timing was awful and he'd barely made it upright before losing his balance in the worst way possible.
his crash against the water on his back as he sunk beneath the waves was at the very least a mildly satisfying “i told u so”. | words: xx tag: @eva3 notes: blalhlhhuhlhuhlh |

[attr="class","up"] THE PERFECT WORDS THAT I'VE NOT SPOKEN "Professor, eh? I like it. Sounds cool man." Claude agreed full heartedly, ready to take on the role of teacher. After she finished the demonstration, which she say he didn't really pay attention to, he was already running off into the water less than gracefully. Her "words of inspiration" seemed to really hit home with him, which was nice. They were the ones the got her into the water as a kid. Also the ones that led her to being wiped out on the shore one too many times. She squinted her eyes to get a better look at him, the sun was starting to get bright and brighter. He seemed to be having fun, even after he took the tumble. It brought a smile to her face even though he had failed, the newbies getting a feel for the water was always a nice sight. "Alright! Good job, that was great honestly. Best fall I've ever seen!" Claude cupped her hands to shout before lowering them to cheer and clap.
She ran over to him, leaving her board behind, and stood next to her flat body. "Need some help now, or you still hear your heat sing?"
