 | WINNIE WOODS - EIGHTEEN - BAKER - SWEET - ANGRY [attr="class","anew"]winnie woods, an ex-street rat from the states and new resident on nova. she works as a baker's assistant at Irresistibly Sweet, the popular bakery in east nova.
her personality is a bit two sided, she seems sweet, gentle and innocent until something happens that she doesnt like. then she is all teeth gritting, vein throbbing, eye squinting sorts of mad and will slap someone upside their head without a second thought.
she has quite a few friends, however none of them tend to stick around for long. they usually start to dislike her after the first few arguments of the relationship seeing as how she is very stubborn with her views. |  | HADLEY BARON - TWENTY-THREE - TECH SUPPORT - IMPULSIVE - ESCAPIST [attr="class","anew"]nova native returnee, hadley moved from the island at the age of 13 and returned when she was 19. she got her own place and was hired as technician at a computer repair shop. she does in-home services and over the phone trouble shooting.
hadley went through a difficult relationship that left her in shambles. her ways of coping vary but it caused her to be generally wary of getting too close to anyone.
those who do get close to her will find she is an impulsive big baby who loves to complain and eat. she is very loyal and cherishes her friends, even if the way she expressed it is roundabout and vague. |  | CLAUDE OCHOA - TWENTY-ONE - SURFER/MUSICIAN - RELAXED - LAZY [attr="class","anew"]claude is a tourist enthusiast! she moved to nova with her brother planning on vacationing, but due to their lack of funds and poor planning, ended up stuck there. they bought an apartment and barely pay rent on time with what little money they make as musicians.
they both joined a band as a source of income, although claude is irresponsible and rather go surfing than go to gigs. although she loves music nearly as much as surfing, the beach's call is much too powerful.
she naps anywhere she can, having a weird schedule of taking multiple naps during the day instead of a solid 8 hours at night. she is more like a little kid with how she deals with responsibilities and is very selfish. she wants what she wants and will do anything in her ability to get it. |  | GIOVANNA MAUER - NINETEEN - BABYSITTER - CAREFREE - FLIRTY [attr="class","anew"]giovanna is a native to nova, and much rather travel. she has a poor immune system and its been like that since she was young. she is constantly in and out of the hospital or laying in bed too sick to move.
her lack of excitement as a kid led her to become a party animal as a teen, she refuses to miss out on anymore fun than she already has and will party until she drops. literally.
due to her weak immune system, regular jobs are hard for her. she ends up fired from not being able to make it to work or what her supervisors think is slacking off. (when really she is just so physically tired she needs to take a break) she settled for baby sitting, either for family members, her half sister, or anyone who will hire her. |  | DOMINIQUE BLACK - THIRTY-ONE - SOCIAL WORKER - ABRASIVE - ALOOF [attr="class","anew"]dom is a piece of shit basically. ok no, she just could care less how upset you are over her opinions or how offended you are that she didn't approach you nicely. social work is hard for her, she tries her best to keep what she has to say to herself but usually ends up telling the children or parents straight up how its going to be.
she is good, however, at telling if the situation is dangerous or healthy for a child. leaving her with many properly resolved cases. dom is a suspended cop, meaning her cop ways are still embedded in her system and only have to be pushed aside for a little. so dont try to start shit with her.
she has a german shepherd named Bubba who used to accompany her on patrols, and still accompanies her everywhere she goes. her dog is nearly the only thing that can make her crack a smile.
in short she is hard to approach, hard to get along with, and isnt trying to change that. her work ethic sucks, she can be considered lazy but she likes to call herself "relaxed" and "selective" with her work. |

since you wouldn't come to me you leave me with no choice sobs viv + giomaybe they know each other from school if she still goes i can't remember idk they're the same age they need to know each other. where does gio live? if she lives in apartment they could very well be neighbours? idk i want more people to annoy viv b/c viv's not rly into the party scene so maybe gio drags him to one and tries to get him drunk he's v funny drunk i promise IDK WHERE IM GOING WITH THIS olivia + gioolivia's a year younger but this one's a party animal and maybe they'd know each other from being at parties yes parties olivia very much believes in live while you're young idea and thinks the teenage life should not be spent studying but should be spent partying until you forget your name yes so maybe friends?  ?? hahaha olivia's a native too so they could've known each other for some time idk vera + gio idk they both know ellie so maybe gio's the one who's a lil concerned about ellie's well being when with vera because vera's pretty childish herself man she's out the window alright MAYBE MORE PLOTS LATER (8 |

idk man where would she live?? that is what im trying to figure out. if he live in a complex with nice size places then im better she could live there?? im still trying to decide if she lives with her parents or not but that is always a possibility. im betting they'd know each other from school and thats where she'd start bothering him at.. and dragging him to parties and it just became routine for her to go over to his house and annoy the crap outta him!

i like this idea!! maybe preteenhood friends? childhood even! i think they'd be great friends who started causing trouble very young and gio is like 18/19?? so a little older and maybe was a bad influence on her cries or something.

oh gosh she'd be worried and so tense like about to snap at any chance of the twins getting hurt tbh!! always chastising vera about things and like if she is around the twins w/ her enough start acting like her aunt?? is that ok or is that creepy idk! her feelings will just start to associate vera w/ the twins and baby her idfk

well, viv does live in a fairly nice complex in the west near school??? thats how i think it, yeah, he spends a lot of time in his apartment so he does like to rent p nice places. yepppp viv needs ppl to drag him out and force him to go to parties albeit awkwardly i just wonder whether or not gio can deal with viv b/c viv can be a great pain in the bum a lot of the time hahaha

So I'll just say I love Dom, and that Homer would also 'love' dom. He wouldn't be in love or anything with her, but attracted to her definitely because abrasive women are hot to him apparently. Seriously, he'd hit on her with a straight face (and probably get punched in the face). I imagine she'd be annoyed by all that yeah? What I picture with them is a dynamic where they work together sometimes, he ask her out periodically, and she always shoots him down? With him being a psychologist and all, he probably consults some of the families/children/parents she deals with. And then, when all their serious work is done, he's like "Want to get some coffee? No? Fair enough. I'll ask again next week."
But I'm rambling. Hope this is cool.

@eva3 + junk dude i think they would kick back together, get along, and have high philosphical debates about chaos and order and life.
@foop + junk all right, so i think junk might have been a failed case of dominiques maybe. junk's father has kind of lost it, and he's sort of abusive, and there were probably official bits and pieces of evidence that would prompt the government to remove junk from his home and put in foster care, but then, junk ran away and situation disappeared from the record. he lives on his own with a friend, and he has practically dropped out of school. it would be cool if dominique had been involved with him, and maybe one day, he drug over-dosed, was put in the hospital, and her role in his life returned?

sOOOOO we all know how much of a bitch poppy is and for some reason i think winnie should be included.... in her respective lil harem of snotty teens.... (so far it's jsut frankie??? so like if frankie and winnie get along???) bc tbh poppy usually has mad respect for girls no matter how two faced or abrasive like as long as they've got that v then they are brothers in arms and so IDK if winnie can put up with poppy's brusque manner then i think they could totally be friends???

So they both used to be street rats though of course Zilya wouldn't know and seeing as she just got here at her ageo f 18 yes? She wouldn't know that Zilya was a street kid until the age of fifteen but maybe there is just something recognizable in their eyes that they have seen and done bad things. I think Zilya would have a hard time trying not to pick at that because it is this thing in him to pick at things to set them off to get them to get the fuck away but you know what is the point of that these days when he is supposed to be proving his worth in life and he is just trying to get something yummy you know?
So maybe they have this strained sort of relationship with bratty little comments tossed and when neither of them seem to give way to the snark maybe this sort of respect is grown? I dunno. I am hooooooorrid at these things yes hello don't hate me ;w;

WINNIE so i've decided that dante would've worked at irresistably sweet before he got a job as a barista, so if winnie's been working there for over a year or something then she'd probably know dante! except, dante might not have like her bossy nature, if she did show that while at the bakery. he'd probably stubbornly refuse to do what she said just to be difficult but then again, dante doesn't like being bossed about. soo yeah in the past they've probably have had a few arguments and aren't really friends any more ... man idk. your thoughts? |

omg this sounds so cute. ;w; i like this idea a lot! the various ways dom could reject him and his ability to just bounce back up, perf perf perf. she's probably had to go to his office to turn in files and reports or extra info on those families and she could always be like 'y i gotta go pls no' but do it anyways b/c THATS HER JOB. and yea i really like this idea! they could have an after work starter thread where dom takes her dog out and about to go shopping and they run into each other. i bet her dog will like him or something idk, get back to me so we can start a thread <3

this might b a bit of a stretch but i had an idea where for character development, she gets involved with him again and is loosely a mother figure? ofc it'd have to work up to that or something i just think that dynamic would be a really cool plot to play out.
