| Friends do not come easily to Waverly, mostly because she does not come easily to them. She is a very pessimistic, sardonic individual and is surly and hard-to-approach. She's blunt and may say things that will offend you, but if you're the type that a. doesn't care and/or b. frightfully optimistic and chipper you will eventually wear Waverly down into being nice to you. She appreciates avid readers, genuinely nice people, and those she can have a drink and good conversation with. | | She's a bitch and most days the things that pop out of her mouth are horrendous. Waverly is an expert at making people steer clear of her and saying things to push them away. Even her closest friends have to deal with her mouth. She's also an aggressive and embittered person, so that combined can piss anyone off. Also if you hate her books or compare her to J.K. Rowling she'll cut you. | | Waverly is recently divorced and since she has what she jokingly refers to as an "expiration date", she isn't looking for love or romance or anything like that. And since she no longer has her breasts and feels sickly half the time, she's actually quite insecure about hooking up with someone. She might flirt or joke with someone, especially while drunk, but she'd much rather hire a hooker then try her luck in the field. That said, Waverly is only looking for casual relationships although unexpected feelings could certainly arise. | | I would love you forever if someone had a doctor and/or therapist character for her to interact with. She definitely needs a therapist friend, but they don't have to be a therapist by nature. Also she needs subjects for her new fantasy book so feel free to apply your character, especially if they have an interesting life style (i.e. circus performer, gangster, etc.) |

but srsly, I can see them being coffee/drinking/book buddies, orrin prefers literary fiction or nonfiction bc he's boring but maybe they knew each other when they were younger and penpals during the war or something?

He probably wouldn't like outright mess with her bc by the looks of it she's been through enough, but bc shes smart and surly and english he'd still hang around and tease her a bit for the lulz. He'd actually probably try to dig up some dirt on her tho since its kinda a hobby and be suspiciously nice to her when he finds out its terminal (probably in part anonymously like leaving small gifts at the door or making sure she never loses her keys and in part actually being outright nice to her). He'd lay off once she chews him out about it though
also if you're not opposed to it, it could be fun to have her suspect and/or like actually figure out that hes not entirely human (either through putting two, two and two together or actually catching him in the act)

So I have Lance who is a singer and I have Kristoffer who is in the circus and of course I have Basil who've we've discussed before. I also have Raz who is a ballerina and Arlo who is an artist and an ice cream truck driver :D
I really do think that Basil and Waverly would get along eventually. By the way she sounds, it looks like they'd both beat each other into submission.

@waverly + @azrael Azrael is a twenty-five year old historian, writes history books, and is on a television show on that damn educational history channel. Though he reads just about everything he can get his hands on, which could very well include her books. He's kinda... apathetic in the sense that he doesn't really get offended. He is rather nice, would give his shirt to someone right off his back kind of way. He likes intelligence the most in people.

lancelot doesn't read. never really has, and never really will. he does however have an interesting life style, he's a circus performer, an animal trainer, and he has a cheetah that he normal keeps loose and around him. she's not a pet however. idk maybe he could be a subject? he wouldn't mind.
