hateships? bromance fallout? like, maybe they were once bros or just kinda tolerated each other back when jace was still okay and now he's not that okay anymore and luke just doesn't want to put up with jace's crap anymore. i mean, he'd probably have a few issues with jace already before with how spoiled the boy is and everything, but his attitude just wasn't as bad back then for luke to completely shut him out. now, the current jace is really everything that luke hates with his egoistical, pushy and manipulative side. especially the last one. and jace's life of the popular rich kid and party animal too. he would want nothing to do with it. and so whenever he sees jace now, he just turns the other way and walks away. or if they have to talk for whatever reason, he'll just spat out some sass and then go.

so these two are actually pretty similar. they are both mature, courteous people and is the same age. a good friendship can probably bloom here. perhaps konrad dropped by the bookstore she works at, asks for a recommendation on books and they just end up talking and got along? good literature is something that konrad enjoys as well from time to time, so he would drop by whenever he has free time and when school and work isn't weighing him down to pick out a book. and even if life is hectic, he might still just drop in to chat and hang out. the store is peaceful and she's peaceful, so it'll be like, taking a break from everything in life. she can nag on how he should take care of himself more since he has the tendency to overwork, haha.
