He's cute. -shrug- Can't argue with people wanting to plot with him. lol.
Perhaps around the neighbourhood, these bullies three (or four or five I just wanted it to rhythm) could have followed her and picked on her and he'd seen it. -chuckles- I just want them to bond over something and that's the best I could do. Woe to me. Oh goodness... babysitting. I can't honestly see her being babysat unless the inn was closed. Her folks were pretty strict with her going to the inn and working her butt off. Hence her being a bitter lil girl when young. Maybe Jobe could have sensed that and tried to pull her away? Her uncle was less strict and would have been like "yeah, OK, babysitting" while knowing full well it was socializing. Ah, she would have nagged him a little bit during school to help with her English and such.
But yeah, Tea is understanding. She won't push him about things and just be there to sit quietly when they actually have time to talk now that they're grown up. To make it extra spicy... I could have seen her having a lil crush on him growing up but never voicing it. And after his bad relationship... Well, that's not even a good time either. So she just grew quiet about it and cherished him as friend instead. LOL. Yes I'm going to be sappy and mature about it.
My dear, Mari, the Teacup Inn is so much more than an inn. It has a bar and tables for food. -huffs- He can totally grab a drink there. I dunno what he drinks, but the first round is on Tea. She does that with all the fine upstanding police women and men.

ahh alright then, the babysitting was just a suggestion. he probably would've felt sorry for/taken pity on her when they were younger either way, probably something about sticking up for the underdog. ahhhh im a sucker for sappy crushes!! but jobe's romance is kind of taken already (by the girl that broke his heart oh boy) and he's currently in this dilemma where he's thinking 'im too busy for dating blah blah' so it's a very confusing place and her crush will probably end up being one sided. yo if the inn has a bar he's up for it man jobe likes his alcohol.

Arlo & Ezra
They're the same age, so they probably went to school together.. since forever. Until Ezra decided to stop coming, of course, and left home. They're practically opposites, and you kno what they say about oppositess. Ezra is just blunt and persistant enough to try and drag Arlo outside and go partying and clubbing with him, and probably tried to shove alcohol down his throat in the school bathroom all the time. At least, that's how i picture it. they seem to get over their parents divorces quite differently.
so yeah idk if they would be friends or if arlo would hate his guts, but i bet ezra would love him if they were friends somehow.
edited herpderp. i'll add a plot for akira and jobe later because sergeants gotta stick together

arlo and ezra well arlo, being completely hypocritical, would probably appreciate ezra's bluntness to some degree. plus I doubt arlo would really resist against ezra's persistence to go partying/clubbing with him, as long as there was alcohol present. I doubt arlo would be completely honest with ezra about their parents' divorces, most likely complain about his and direct the convo elsewhere. I bet they could be buds though!

yesss let's get wasted. I mean i like this a lot, esp. since Ezra has a thing with being completely dodgy with personal questions too. Ezra is around to prod Arlo into doing crazy things and to counter his pessimism with usually blind optimism. and order the shots. perfect. their first thread should be pre-drinking in an alleyway.
jobe&akira
okokok they're both similar personalities, vengeful, disciplined, etc. they're even the same age, woah. putting two such abrasive personalities together usually doesn't end well, and I can see some latent friction between them. so i think maybe they were working together when Akira first moved to Nova, and he made some decisions during that particular case that Akira didn't like, and vice versa. we can hash it out. And maybe as an immigrant Jobe didn't like her that much to begin with, seeing as he has a lineage and she doesn't. On her end, it would seem like he doesn't trust in her ability and it makes her angry. mmhm hopefully this was dec.

LUCIE & NESSA Primo's darling daughter, of course. This is gonna be fun, I think, because lil Nessa is probably gonna scare the CRAP out of Lucie at first, but she's going to try hard to be brave, especially for Primo's sake. Because he loves his lil girl, right? Can I just say I'm super duper excited for like. Whenever this badass Lucie transformation comes? I think Lucie would wanna try and get to know Nessa better and the girl just...isn't having it.
JOBE & KIERAN So Jobe's a law-abiding guy, obviously. Kieran isn't. The dude's trying to lay low but he's obviously spiraling, going out and partying and crap, going home drunk and super high. What if...Jobe caught him or something? It could be an interesting game of cat and mouse or maybe Kieran tries to lie his way out of it...who knows?

jobe and akira yeee this is more than a decent plot, lol. Yeah I can see some friction going on between them. Jobe is really ruthless twoards criminals; he doesn't have, like, any tolerance for them p much. Maybe he didn't go easy on a guy that might have not deserved it and akira didn't like it? as for lineage, he isn't really biased about nova natives and the like. criminals are criminals, just like citizens are citizens—he doesn't discriminate.but yeah I can see some rivalry or something going on here c:
nessa and lucie hehe oh boy, I can't wait for this plot. yeah, nessa is gonna kinda have it out for lucie for a little while I think. at least, when she and primo start their relationship. also, nessa and vanni are gonna plot something to do, so maybe that kinda sets off the transformation? or not, they'll probably just pick on her. a lot. but yeha after the whole badass lucie thing, nessa would probably have some degree of respect for her, though it would probably be a reaaaaally long process coming to terms with lucie as her dad's girlfriend.
jobe and kieran sure, i can see that happening. knowing jobe, he'd probably try and find every reason under the sun to arrest the guy, but kieran might just kinda keep slipping away? or he actually does manage to lie his way out of a sticky situation, lol. either way, cat and mouse sounds fun.

NESSA & KIERAN I love this, and I can't wait to see what Vanni and Nessa have planned! Something that eventually makes Lucie harden up and become a badass or something. IM JUST SO EXCITED

ella & @arlo ella comes from a really wealthy family who's also into horses and they have a bunch of land w/ a bunch of ponies and she's also very hot-tempered and can act like she's a princess sometimes. anyywaaay since they're both fro wealthy families and eighteen i feel like they definitely should know each other. ella would probably not mind his negativity at first but she might but heads with him over it just for the sake of an argument if that makes sense??? she's a spoiled brat but at heart she's still a nice girl??? i mean besides the drug habit - so they could also hit up rich kid parties together or something
did you know i think we've only had one thread ever that's dumb as hell let's remedy it

arlo and @ella so haha funny story i actually didn't think of arlo as wealthy (maybe u mistook it for healthy??) but he probably lives an expensive lifestyle @ home so let's just go with his fam having a good amount of $$$ yeah?? anyways yes arlo is p negative and ella wouldn't be sheltered from it obvs, so i can see them butting heads. thing is arlo is sarcastic but he doesn't actively seek out things to argue about?? if that makes sense w/e—regardless he'd hang with her, parties/drugs u name it he'll be there basically
