Really.... This was kind of nerve-wracking if he was going to be completely honest with himself. Lance didn't get nervous often, but in this case, he had every right to be.
Luca Wyld called him up for a uh.... lunch meeting, supposedly, so there he was at the restaurant, sitting at the table across from Salem's manager.
Of course he knew who the man was. He'd be an idiot not to.
Lance sat there very calmly despite his inner feelings going haywire. What did the guy want with him? Why did he call him out to meet with him? He didn't do anything special as far as he knew, so the fact that Luca was showing any type of interest in Lance really confused him.
He didn't outwardly question it, though.
So there he sat, face as dead-panned as ever as he took a sip of his lemon water, watching Luca with a perked brow, incredibly curious of this afternoon's events and how they were going to unfold.

He'd chosen a restaurant that allowed smoking, of course he did. Despite the fact that he as trying to quit, Luca was clearly having a hard time with it, and he knew for a fact that he'd need about half a box by the time he was finished with the man across from him. He didn't like Lance, not one bit. Never had, always felt there was something off about him, even back when he was around Salem. Luca had always been between Italy and Nova Athenis all through his school years, so it was hard to focus on everything when it came to school. He never saw the signs between Salem and Lance, and such as that, he didn't know anything had happened until after the fact.
His arms were crossed over each other, the lit cigarette between his fingers as he turned his attention from his glass on the table, to the man across from him. "I'm shocked you even came. Even more shocked you remembered me. How long has it been since high school, ten years?" The blonde asked. He took a drag off his cigarette as his golden eyes narrowed down. He'd been in a pissed off mood since Salem told him the black-haired man was back in town. Or rather, back in Salem's life. And he wasn't all that thrilled about it.

He wasn't sure, but that comment sounded almost condescending. "Of course I came. Why wouldn't I?" He asked as he pulled out a cigarette, himself. "It's been a while, I admit."
Lance honestly wasn't sure what to say to the man across the table from him. He couldn't help but notice an irritated aura off the man. Curious...
Luca never bothered Lance. There wasn't anything about the man that he particularly hated. Not even in high school. He knew of him, saw him around, but never thought to really talk to the kid. He was quiet, reserved, to himself, and those types of people never appealed to Lance. Though, he didn't dislike that type. He just never knew how to handle them.
"So... What about me has caught your attention?" No beating around the bush with Lance.

With a practiced flick of his fingers, Luca dashed the ashes off the tip of his smoke before his eyes turned back towards Lance. If there was anyone that he was protective over that wasn't family, it would be Salem. The two had been an odd couple of friends for the longest time, so there shouldn't be any surprise there. "Awhile indeed. I had no idea you were back on the island" He all but mumbled as he took a drag off his cigarette. How he hated the stupid cancer sticks.
Golden eyes moved back towards the man across from him, shoulders rolling back slightly. "In regards to Salem. Why don't you do everyone a favor, and stay away from him? His performances have gone down, and he doesn't need a distraction" The blonde said, rather bluntly. There was no need to beat around the bush about the situation that had been brought to his attention.

Back? Lanced perked a brow as he took a drag off his cigarette, then blew the smoke out before speaking. "I never left the island in the first place," he stated, thumping the ashes off into the nearby ashtray.
He'd no idea why Luca thought he'd left. Lance thought it was very widely known within the group of people they all were a part of that he hadn't gone anywhere. Salem, more than anyone, loved to remind him.
But it wasn't until the last statement was said that Lance really did look surprised. He pulled the cigarette out of his mouth and stared at the man across from him, let out a chuckle, then thumped the ashes off in the ashtray, though there weren't really any ashes to thump away yet. "Excuse me? Why should I stop talking to him? He was my friend too, Luca. I have every right to talk to him if I want to and he's a big boy now. If he wants to talk to me, he can."
Lance didn't like the way this conversation was going and he made sure to cut the man a death glare as he took a deep drag off his cigarette. "I won't."
