He was excited as if he was on steroids, you know, that odd stinging feeling in your blood and your muscles feel stronger, all that jazz. William didn't really like chemicals, even if they were part of the basic building blocks of doctor game and medicine.
He groaned again, clutching his forehead into his hand and then smiling as to not appear strange. Brushing down his long white coat, having washed it the previous night just for this occasion, the white tiles on the floor smiled with him as he greeted a little brunette girl with a touch of her cheek and a tilt of the head. It could've been the children's ward, if the little girl wasn't the only child in the waiting room sat around amongst half empty chairs and old magazines.
"How are you feeling today, sweetest?" The corners of his eyes crinkled a little.

He hadn't quite gotten the hang of things yet, and he dragged his feet in nervous steps down the halls, past gurneys and nurses, arms loaded down with paper work. He felt out of place among the bustle of the hospital. All the people made him nervous, and the doctor in the waiting room made him very nervous, with his smile and his bright eyes. He had no name tag.
Feliks paused, shifting the papers from arm to arm. "Um..."

His head darted backwards to follow the pointed finger of the little girl. William smiled eerily at the newcomer and the smell of fresh zebra, for he was a lazy, lazy predator. Just for the hour, maybe. The heels on his barely polished shoes clicked a lot louder than he thought they would, as he made his way towards the man calmly.
Only to roughly throw his arm around his shoulder, forcing the younger to come down a little lower.
"Hey uh where am I?" He smiled lopsidedly. The blonde boy then sniggered. "Nah I'm joking. But I seriously forgot my way to the supply vault... thingy."

Feliks wasn't stupid - only very inexperienced. He didn't recognize all the staff, and for all he knew, this man was one of them. Even if he did make Feliks uneasy, a smile like he knew a deep secret.
He twisted his expression into a canned smile, hunched and tense under the man's arm, as if it weighed the world on his back. A crease in his brow, he clutched the papers tightly, the joke not striking him as a particularly funny. "Oh, uh," He knew English. Fluently. But under this pressure it was all he could not to start blubbering in Finnish. It was interesting, the way the smell of blood lit up joy in his brain, but this man, this doctor, made his stomach churn.
"Shall I show you the way?" Feliks straightened slightly.

He smiled wider - William fancied himself a smiley person. It was nice to be smiley.
He gestured to the empty space before them both. "Be my guest," He said, although out of the correct context. There was something nicely off about this man, boy, with his odd nerves. Possibly wired oddly. It'd be nice if he could cut him open and see if something inside of him was knotted. An intestine or two, perhaps. Already, William was walking even though he didn't know the way.

Before Feliks could take his first faltering step to lead, the doctor was already walking. Everything about this set Feliks's nerves buzzing like guitar strings, pulled tight as they were. He felt ensnared by the heavy arm on his shoulders, as he turned them down this hall and that, with less apparent confidence than the other man.
"Erm, so you, uh... work here?" The silence only made it worse, so Feliks stuttered out the question to fill it. He was shadowing a surgeon, but he was here to help any doctor or nurse who needed him any other time.
He liked the dirty work best, seeing innards and organs, blood and guts.
This was just nervewracking, fumbling with the keys for an embarrassing length of time before he pushed the door open.
