The little girl's face turned as red as a beet. This was the nicest comment anyone had given her (excluding her parents, because parents only say nice things to their kids.) She looked down at her feet and twiddled her thumbs, embarrassed.
It was hard to say anything even remotely close to thanks after quickly trying to compose herself. Instead, Midori decided to make a comment about evolution and Ignacia's questions. "We evolved from apes, which evolved after the asteroid hit and killed the dinosaurs and many other organisms. There hasn't been another major event since, so that's why there hasn't been more intelligent beings," she said, pretty sure that was why.

The look on the girl's face confirmed Ignacia's suspicions, as she turned the scarlet hue of surprise and uncomfortably looked down for a few seconds, she wasn't used to compliments, was she...
She turned the topic back to evolution, condensing a few trillion years of history to a few grand sentences. Ignacia blinked and cocked her head "but how were the dinosaurs created?" she asked, simply. She knew the answer, it was Anaflégontai, just as she would later create the humans' ancestors.
@midori sorry its sorta shitty orz

How were they created? Midori perused her knowledge. After trying to remember, it came to her. "They evolved from archosaurs," she said, holding her head high smartly. The little girl had to make herself seem extra-smart so Ignacia didn't start talking about hippie stuff.
But she'd probably be asked where archosaurs came from, and Midori didn't really know the answer to that. Instead she just kept up her head and tried to forget that Ignacia had made her turn red.

The girl gave the expected reply, sticking her head up and talking in a confident, prim voice. "They evolved from archosaurs," It was something Ignacia had heard before, many times really, and something she could counter easily enough. Everything but the ageless gods had to come from something.
"And where did they begin?" Ignacia smiled. "That's where you'll find the divine's gift of the body." They were the spark, the flame that spread across each candle of life. The gift of Reason would come later, eons after the candles would each take their distinct shape, die off or pass on to a new candle.
She looked back at the little snow globe in her hand, studying it with a warm, contemplative smile, and droopy, relaxed eyes. "its the same with each personal life. They're the spark of it all."

This girl needed some serious help. Midori rummaged through her pocket for a business card holder, filled with her business cards. They also included her mom's number, as said woman was a psychiatrist. Selecting one from the top, the little girl shut the tin with a snap and put it back in her jumper pocket.
Back to evolution and deities and stuff. The divine gift? Spark? What the hell? Midori couldn't make sense of this mumbo jumbo, and thurst out the hand with her business card in it to Ignacia. "Give me a call soon, I think you might need a little, um, refresher," Midori said, trying to be as nice as possible.

Huh?
Midori had a business card out, handing it to Ignacia with instructions to call her. The girl placed the little snow globe back on its shelf before taking the little thing with a gracious yet confused sounding "Thanks?" reading it over for a few seconds.
Psychiatry? Ignacia couldn't help but feel a bit hurt when she read the card. She had gotten comments like that before but often they were far from sincere and Ignacia had long since learned to ignore them. But Midori seemed earnest. Did she really feel that way? Was she really so far removed from the light?
But there was always a silver lining, she just had to remember that. With this she could keep in touch with Midori! Maybe even meet her family! Ignacia had to admit, she was rather curious about them. "I'll be sure to keep it in mind!" She tried to say it brightly with another smile but couldn't keep her voice from shaking just a bit.
"I'm not sure if I can afford it though..." @midori

Afford it? Nah, that was just her mom's office's information. She'd put it on the card for her referrals, people met on the street who needed psychiatric help. However, maybe Midori could help Ignacia instead of her mother. The girl didn't charge a thing for her mock psychiatry.
"Oh, that's just my mom's office. I put her on it for referrals. Mine's the second number, below hers," the little girl said, cheerfully and slightly proudly. "Give me a call some- Crap, my mom's looking for me," Midori started, but stopped halfway as she heard her mom calling for her. She'd finished her shopping and was looking for her.
"Just give me a call, okay?" the little girl said as she ran down the aisle and towards her mother's calling voice.

"O-oh" Ignacia nodded as the girl informed her that her own number under her mother's. Well, she certainly was a bright little thing, even with her problems with sight and cynicism.
A woman calling cut Midori short and the girl quickly left to find her mother. "Okay!" she called out, after the girl.
What an interesting little one. Ignacia continued to study the little business card before tucking it back into her pockets. She then turned to the little snowglobe, biting her lip as she looked at it. She grabbed it soon enough, and with a greedy smile she placed it in the cart.
It had a new memory now.
