cora wolff ♡ Getting inside was a piece of cake. Cora's mother had taught her many skills, with lockpicking being one of the first tools of her arsenal that she learned. This guy didn't see to have a security system to worry about, so she just folded up her parasol and made her way to his bedroom.
Really, the place could do with some cleaning. The pink haired girl could not understand how people could live in such filth like this, but that wasn't really her concern right now. She wasn't his mother; her job here wasn't to scold him and tell him to pick up his room. No, Cora had a much different mission.
The man in question was snoring away in his bed when she entered the bedroom. He seemed out cold for now, but hopefully when he realized the predicament he was in, he'd be wide awake. The girl sat down on his bed and crossed her legs, gently smoothing out the very pink and ruffly dress she wore. Just because she was here on business didn't mean she had to leave the house without looking presentable.
Lifting the parasol a little, she gave him two sharp jabs to wake him, not really wanting to touch him with her soft white gloves. Who knew what kind of filth was on this man?
"Rise and shine," the girl chirped, smiling a little twistedly. "I have something very important to talk to you about." well, i think i'm gonna BURNINHELL

He had stumbled in just before sunrise - the blinds in his room were perpetually shut against any light, he didn't notice the day had begun for everyone where his had ended. He was fast asleep, in his boxers, sheets tangled in his legs, and he didn't notice the slight weight on the edge of the bed.
With a irritable groan at the first jab and a louder one in protest at the second, he would have squirmed away to the other side of the bed and gone on sleeping if not for the bright voice cutting through the blissful silence of his bedroom.
"Wh--" Groggily, he opened his eyes and craned his neck to see the little power puff girl perched on the edge of his bed. "Th'fuck?" His head slumped back to the pillow, and he wondered if this was some residual high. The other explanation as to what she was doing was a much less appealing one - she looked twelve for fuck's sake.

cora wolff ♡ Cora let out a sigh, resting her parasol on her shoulder. It seemed as if he wasn't fully awake yet, and she didn't really have the patience to be dealing with this sort of thing today. Really, she should have just pushed this job onto someone lower on the totem pole than her, but she figured if you wanted something done right, do it yourself. "Come on, already," she said, "It's time to get up. We can do this the easy way or the hard way." Cora wasn't completly against roughing up someone if it was necessary, but she usually tried to avoid it. She could get her clothes dirty or break a nail or something, and really she wasn't in the mood for that today. However, if he continued to remain uncooperative, she'd have to show him that she meant business somehow. well, i think i'm gonna BURNINHELL

Iggie hoped that if he closed his eyes and ignored it, it would go away. That he could roll over and sleep it off like a bad hangover. Her voice was shrill and grating against his pounding headache, and he snatched the extra pillow from the other side of the bed to muffle the sound of it as he rolled over.
It was too fucking early for this bullshit.

cora wolff ♡ Still, the man continued to ignore her. Cora frowned, her fingers tightening on the handle of her parasol. She hopped off the end of the bed and smoothed her skirt down before walking to the head of it and snatching the pillow off of his head, throwing it onto the floor. With that out of the way she raised her parasol and gave him a sharp whack on the back of the head. "You should really listen when other people are talking to you!" the girl snapped, lowering her weapon. She didn't hit him too hard, but enough to give him a good headache (an possibly a small lump). "Honestly, how can you be so rude? I came all the way out here to give you a warning out of the goodness of my own heart. I could have just slipped something in your drink and be done with it, but no, I decided to let you live." The fourteen year old huffed, blowing a strand of pink hair out of her face and glaring down at the man. She didn't have time to sit here and play around, there was other business she needed to attend to that was more important than this. well, i think i'm gonna BURNINHELL

Iggie grunted when the pillow was torn from his grip. "For fuck's sake." He snarled, shoving himself up to sit and rubbing at the back of his head, the hang over's headache pounding at his skull in double time.
He was getting a little fucking sick of getting beat up on like he was some communal punching bag. A guy couldn't even get some sleep around here. He glowered at the petulant little bitch - how had she even gotten into his room? "What. Do you. Want. You cruddy. Little. Imp."

cora wolff ♡ Cora's eyes narrowed, and her grip tightened on the handle once more. She was almost tempted to give him another good whack, but she resisted. For now. His manners were atrocious, but she was more concerned about the reason she was here at the moment. "You really need to ge some better manners," the pink hair girl said, shouldering her parasol again. "But that's irrelevant right now, as reluctant as I am to say so. What I want is the money you owe us. You've had more than enough time to pay us back, and the boss is getting impatient with you." She remained tense when she said this, more than ready to give him another whack if he decided to call her more names. Her patience was thinning more and more. well, i think i'm gonna BURNINHELL

He furrows his brow, just watching her in disbelief and shifting himself to the other side of the bed, away from her and her fucking frilled up umbrella.
He sighs irritably. He shouldn't be cussing in front of children, but considering she's broken into his fucking house and woken him up by beating him with a parasol, he thinks he can let manners slide. But Iggie always thinks he can let manners slide.
Though he's well used to being beat up for money he owes, it's usually burly men, not teenage girls who do the beating. "Right..." He groans, face scrunched up in thought, rubbing at the back of his head. "Well, I'm actually waiting on some payments to go through, myself. I can't pay back money I haven't gotten yet, see. It's not my fault that some things are delayed like, further down the line." He flashes her a terse grin.

cora wolff ♡ Cora wasn't here to sit and listen to excuses; she was here to collect money, and if he didn't have money she was then here to threaten him and possibly cause some bodily harm. Though she was small and petite looking, she knew how to cause some damage if she needed to. It wasn't usually her style -- her style usually ended up with a dead body to be honest -- but those were her orders.
"That's nice," she said, sighing a little. "However, I'm not really here to listen to whatever reason you have for being broke. You're already overdue, so the boss isn't really interested in hearing your stories right now."
The pink girl crossed her arms across her chest and narrowed her eyes at him a little. Even for someone so small and frilly, she could look threatening if she wanted to, and she definitely had that air about her as she glared down at him.
"The boss is being pretty generous with you, so you should appreciate that," Cora said. "However, if you don't find some money soon, I have orders to deal with you however I see fit, and when I deal with my clients however I want, that usually leaves them six feet under. Now, none of us want it to come to that, so why don't you make it easier for all of us and do what you're told?" well, i think i'm gonna BURNINHELL

Sighing, he leaned against the headboard, tilting his head back and shutting his eyes. He could almost convince himself this was just a dream, but his aching head told him otherwise.
"Look, like I said," Iggie yawned, glancing warily at Cora. "I'm gonna pay you back, scout's honour; just gimme like, another week." Truthfully being threatened was getting to be commonplace, more than he cared to admit. That was how he could be so nonchalant about this. If this little brat didn't end up killing him, someone else would get to it.
But Iggie was too young and good looking to die. He should have said something clever and charming now, but anything of the sort escaped him this early. "Can you pass my pants?" He added, nodding towards the crumpled jeans on the ground, the bent box of cigarettes that was in the pocket.

cora wolff ♡ Cora's patience was wearing thin. This guy didn't really seem to grasp the predicament he was in right now. Was he not taking her seriously? She really didn't want to have to kill him today, since there were several other things she needed to do, but Cora didn't want to have to come back and finish the job either. Plus, she knew Regina would prefer to have the money he borrowed rather than a body.
“Your time's up,” the pink hair girl repeated. “You better come up with something, and fast, if you want to keep breathing.”
Looking at the man now, it didn't look like she would be getting the money he owed. Though she did have permission to dispose of him if she needed to, it wasn't the most ideal situation. The money was the main priority for them, and if she could find a way to get it from him... well, i think i'm gonna BURNINHELL

He rolled his eyes - no answer, so he just groaned and leaned over on the bed, snatching his jeans from the foot of the bed and digging into the pockets. He couldn't deal with this, not before he'd had his first cigarette. He glared at Cora while he pulled a cigarette from the pack and lit it, tossing his jeans onto the ground and the cigarettes and lighter onto the night table. He inhaled deeply, took a few drags to soothe himself before he even tried to say anything else.
He could taste last night's drinks still on his tongue, bitter and stale. "See, funny, I'm actually waiting on a death." Iggie said. "I got a relative - he dies, I'm his heir. So if you're gonna be killing anyone, best not be me." He shrugged, sounding nonchalant, as if he didn't care either way. He did.

cora wolff ♡ Cora wrinkled her nose as he lit up a cigarette and began to smoke, completely disregarding the fact that she was still there. Honestly, the more she was around this guy, the more she was tempted just to kill him and get it over with so she wouldn't have to deal with his attitude any longer. However, when he finally did speak up again, the pink girl looked up, a small smirk coming to her lips.
“Oh, are you?” she asked. “Well, if that's the case, maybe we could work something out after all. I could speed up the process a little, if you're interested.” well, i think i'm gonna BURNINHELL

He didn't pay her reaction any mind - black lungs, yellow teeth, bad breath, poison in the air, Iggie had heard it all before. Besides, she didn't get come around here threatening to kill him and then fucking turn around to complain about second-hand smoke.
Iggie was still half convinced that this was a dream, negotiating assassination with some twelve year old girl in a princess halloween costume. "Let's say I am." He wasn't a murderer, but the guy was on his last legs already - it was a miracle he was still alive, Iggie had visited him in the hospital a few times. It wouldn't even be an assassination as much as a little shove forward, he reasoned.

cora wolff ♡ There was some hope of turning this around after all. Though he was rude and didn't seem to be taking her threats too seriously, this man did seem interested in her offer, which made Cora's lips to twitch a little into a smirk. It was progress, but she couldn't just stop there.
“However,” the girl began, sighing a little, “I usually require my clients pay up front. Can't finish a job when I'm not sure there's an actual reward for it. Problem is, you already admitted you have no money.” She shook her head here, as if she was a mother disappointed with her son's life choices (though she imagine his own mother was probably disappointed enough for the both of them). “Luckily for you, I'm a kind-hearted, generous girl, and I think we can work something out between us.”
She sat back on the bed with a smile. No doubt she would manage to get her way in this, since he didn't really have much of a choice. well, i think i'm gonna BURNINHELL
