Sajjad's dark eyes smarted in the morning light as she walked onto the campus. Another early morning uni call. They weren't infrequent, but boy they didn't get any easier to wake up to. Sajjad had hardly gotten ehrself together enough to make coffee, let alone put her head wrap on. So today she just threw on some light clothes (unknowingly flattering to her looks) and marched out of the apartment. Well, trudged out and into the harsh sun of Nova Athenis.
Eventually, after much wandering and asking for directions, the tall woman found herself to the right dorm. They seemed so cozy. Almost better than her own apartment. Sajjad shrugged it off and knocked on the door, hoping her client was actually home this time. More often than she cared for, the stupid college kids hadn't yet figured out how to schedule their lives and were off doing other things. Sajjad sighed. College was so fun. And now here she was, in a dress blouse and slacks, in a rigid rut. Being an adult sucked.

It was hard, trying to get used to America's time zones and waking up in the middle of the night expecting it to be morning. But now, she's used to waking up a little earlier than everyone and she has the energy to go through the day now! At least, thanks to the instant coffee she packed before she moved to the island... As she holds her coffee mug in one hand and sorts through her boxes with her other hand, the doorbell rings. She blinks for a moment, momentarily confused as to why someone would be ringing her bell this morning. Then she remembers the appointment she set up with the nice lady so that she can get the internet working in her dorm. She drops everything she's doing at the moment to answer the door -- and almost spills the scalding hot coffee over herself. (Thank God she has quick reflexes.) She curses rather loudly in Korean, "씨발!" She hastily cleans off the mess she made on her new desk with her hoodie's sleeve, sets down the coffee, and runs to answer the door. Much to her embarrassment, she looks like she just woke up when she opens the door. Her heart nearly skips a beat when she sees a sharp looking woman at her doorstep. She quickly clears her throat and straightens herself; she can't leave a bad first impression. "U-uh, hello! Please, come!" She says in her heavy accent, opening the door wider and stepping out of the pretty lady's way. notes: @sajjad// (씨발=Fuck)

Sajjad's brows perked up when she head Jae-eun's accent. Meeting other people from across the world was something she loved. Specially when she got to hear about a different language. But she didn't want to be rude and ask only to find out this girl didn't want to talk about it. Or something. That usually didn't happen but Sajjad couldn't help but worry.
"My name is Sajjad, thank you for inviting me in," The woman gave a sort of shallow head bow, a habit she's not sure where she picked up, and stepped inside. She could tell there was a bit of clutter, but nothing terrible considering Jae-eun was just moving in. All in all, a good impression so far.
"If I understand correctly, you've just moved here?" Sajjad moved to put her bag down, peeking in just to make sure she had everything she needed. She wasn't a forgetful person, but one could never be too sure. "The campus is quite confusing, but the people are nice. Mostly."

She bows her head in return, and lets Sajjad inside. As she closes the door, she can't help but balk at the mess in her dorm. Thankfully, introductions distract her from the mess. "My name is Jae-eun. Is nice to mee'chu." She hums an affirmative to Sajjad's question. "Yes, I moved here yestaday. The people here are nice." More like confusing as the campus itself, but Jae-eun's getting by. Sort of. Anyway, she attempts to hastily tidy up the room to make Sajjad feel a little more comfortable and gestures for Sajjad to sit at the writing desk with the only chair in the room -- which still has her coffee mug on it. Whoops. She quickly places the mug elsewhere as she searches for her laptop bag. Coffee. She should serve some coffee to her guest. "Woul'joo like some coppi?" She offers, still shuffling through cardboard boxes looking for her laptop. Once she finds her laptop, Jae-eun hurries back to Sajjad. Maybe it's still her mind being all over the place, but a random question pops out of her mouth, "What is it like libbing here? Do you like libbing in Noba Athenis?" notes: @sajjad // jae-eun tends to pronounce f as p and idek about this post;; i'm sorry orz
