Something had to have happened for her to call him up, and ask him out. Azrael wasn't the type of guy to turn anyone down before at least hearing them out, no matter how much he disliked them, and trust him, Noemi was on the top with people he disliked.
He sat at a small outside table at a restaurant she picked, which he without a doubt was going to pay for, wasn't he? Good thing he brought extra cash, he rolled his eyes at his own very thought.
"Nice to see you made it." His voice wasn't filled with hate, or malice, just... kinda emotionless. He wanted to get over the fighting. He was sick of it.

She wears the same cream peplum dress that Frank peeled off of her body. It seems to instill something in her, makes her walk a little taller, shut her lips a little tighter.
Noémi was practiced in setting things like this up - fluid, easy, comfortable. Azrael knew all of her tricks by now, though. That was both unsettling and comforting. She had no ace up her sleeve, but he was agreeing to it anyways. A few minutes late, she sits down across from him.
"Order any wine yet?" She pulls her lips back in a good natured smirk, a sort of white flag that she's not as out to get him like she was perviously. She won't be honest with him or herself, but (honestly) she just needed a bit of company.

"I did." He returned her smirk. He didn't exactly know why she wanted to hang out with him, and maybe, just maybe it wasn't his place to ask. He was okay with that. "They should be bringing it any moment. As for food, I haven't ordered yet. I don't quite remember what you liked." It was true, he honestly forgot. He could have sworn he had taken her to this exact place before too.
"You're looking nice." Azrael was good with pleasantries, they came to him like a second nature. It was true though, she did look nice. He took out his menu and looked it over, fairly quickly he decided his order. "Order whatever Noemi, it's my treat." He offered. She might very well bankrupt him today, but he wasn't about to let a woman pay the bill. Despite his personal feelings, he was still a gentleman at heart.

"I wouldn't expect any less," she says, and her voice has a certain air of detachment that makes her seem despicable. A very honest observation. She's all sorts of things, slimy, creepy crawly, under-the-bed things - anything but lovable.
She frowns and draws her eyes together at the menu without meaning to.
The range of emotion is small (it could probably fit on the head of a pin) but it's still too much for Noémi to be comfortable with. Her eyes flash to some sort of grilled salmon and she decides that'll be fine enough. She closes the menu with an ounce of conviction, and puts both of her elbows on the table and rests her heads across the bridge of her hands.
She bats her eyelashes as a response to the compliment. It's incredible how she can slide into this persona like a second skin while her mind takes a back seat (with a paper bag to throw up in). "You too - doing just as well, I'd venture?"

The waiter came with their wine, poured a glass for each, and left the bottle. Azrael didn't drink very often, but he did decide that if he had to somehow watch her, talk to her, and breath near her that he shouldn't exactly be sober. "Oh lovely, but I know you don't really care about my endeavors. I'll let you in on a secret though, I still can't drive." He didn't want to go into detail with her either, she was a parasite, sinking her head into anyone's skin till she sucked them dry. "Rather how are you?"
The waiter returned in a short while, and they had ordered their meals. He got himself a medium-rare steak.

It wasn't hard to fake a smile and she actually genuinely enjoyed a bit of his venom. It evoked a soft laugh from her, and she even took his question calmly. Maybe she was really starting to become a better person, or something like that.
"Oh, you know. Everyone needs good company now and then." She picks up her wine glass and tilts it slightly for him, a toast for a veiled answer. He should know better than to get the whole truth from her.
