KILLIAN CALLAHAN | Bree's smirk took on a wicked hint. She loved tormenting her cousin. He had no one but himself to blame; he just made it too easy.
"But Killian," she drawled. "I thought you were all about rooooomance." As she said that, she swooned back in her chair, pressing her hand over her heart as if to quell its beating. "I'm just trying to help you, coz. You should be thanking me on bended knee. Really, I only got your best interests- and the best interests of the mob- at heart!"
Reaching down, she pulled a black marker out of her boot and began to scribble a reminder to herself to call Callahan Senior on the phone later and discuss marriage proposals. The moment she finished, she looked up and smiled innocently at Killian, just as the waitress arrived with their food.
"Right, put it down right in front of me, wench." She told the woman. "Tonight I feast." |

MADE BY ★MEULK OF GS | "Yes, but not an arranged marriage. You know the romance which doesn't require me force a woman to marry me," he protested, brushing his hair off his face with an exasperated sigh. If that was her having his best interests at heart then he really didn't want to see her having his worst interests in mind. He didn't want to stand next to someone who he couldn't stand and who couldn't stand him, or even worse, someone he had never met before. That was his idea of a worst nightmare.
He couldn't help but groan at the way Bree talked to the waitress before muttering "It's lunchtime Bree." She could feast tonight if she wanted to actually cook something, but right now this was lunchtime. "Thank you very much," he added as his own food was placed in front of him, feeling like one of them had to be nice to her.
"Besides, don't even try it or I swear to God you can find somewhere else to live," he said, taking a stab with his fork at his chicken salad before taking a bite.

KILLIAN CALLAHAN | "But Killian, all I want is for you to be happy." Bree told her cousin in what she thought was an admirable show of false earnestness. She should become an actress, if this whole crime thing didn't pay out. "How could you ever be mad at me for that?"
The food chose this moment to arrive. Bree largely ignored the waitress as she set it down in front of them; a new opportunity had arisen to torment Killian, and she was not going to waste a precious second teasing some half-rate server when she could be teasing him.
"Come on, just think about it," she continued after the waitress had bustled away. "Think of how happy your old man would be! Everyone knows that he wants to see you married before he dies. This would mean so much to him!" To Bree's knowledge, her uncle had never said anything even remotely like that, but accuracy was not her strong point.
She speared a piece of chicken onto her fork before waving it at Killian. "I could probably find some nice mob boss's daughter for you. Political marriages are my favorite kinda marriages." Smirking at him, she popped the chicken into her mouth.
