It was another night in the club, surrounded by the murmurs of both men and women. Devin smiled at the women beside him, laughing and drinking. This was his job. It was what he did - for a long time now, really, and honestly, he wouldn't have it any other way. He enjoyed his job, even if some people would look down on him for it, thinking of him similar to a whore. Ah, well, he didn't care if they had the wrong impression. "Devin, we need you in another booth." The girls whined and Devin had to apologize, his best smile in place as he tried to leave (and eventually was able to). Fixing his suit a little, he ran a hand through his hair before he was guided to his next booth. He was told the client name - a man he'd seen around here before. It was impossible not to notice him, with how obnoxious he could get, showing off magic tricks. Weren't the hosts supposed to be the one entertaining them and not the other way around? Ah, really, it was ridiculous. But he put on his smile, anyway, as he neared the booth. "Apollo Scott, isn't it?" he said, taking a seat beside him. "I'm Devin. A pleasure to finally meet you." |
