But he's a criminal, a threat to security everywhere, and also totally fucking cute. Let him mess up your character's life. Let your character mess up his life. Let them mess up together.

Desperate for work and money for a new car, Jenny is a hardworking journalist who will probably never give herself enough credit. She needs lots of friends, a couple cocky, handsome musicians to crush on, and enemies to be made because of her snooping around with a notebook and pen.

Max comes off as thinking that he's better than everyone because of how critical he is, but that includes himself. He's 22 and despite graduating from university, all he's got down the road is... well, bartending. He wants to fill the rest up with a fun social life. He wants friends, enemies, people who piss him off, people he pisses off, people he can play games with. He'd never let on that he's actually actively looking for a solid group of friends, because he consistently seems way too cool for that, but he is. Please plot with Max. He's like, 22 going on 30 and could use a kick in the ass.

fangyin doesn't understand peng. fangyin can tell peng is squeamish. why. why is that. fangyin doesn't understand. srsly tho fangyin doesn't really get on with her cousins so i bet it'd be awkward with these two. fangyin is frustrating in the sense that she's slow and incoherent with her speech and rly creepy sometimes.... i mean she carries her eye around in a jar.... goodbye

natalia & clara oooh well Natalia is probably gonna try to like Clara just because she's a 16 year old girl. She might even try to get Clara to stay away from the life of crime, so if Clara wanted to she could easily manipulate Natalia into basically giving her whatever she wants as long as she could convince her well enough that she would (and then obviously wouldn't huehuehue.) Basically no matter how rude Clara comes off as, Natalia is gonna try and like her haha. It would probably just continually escalate until Natalia can't take anymore of her.
peng & fangyin this sounds hilarious. Peng would probably feel bad for her and try and be friends with her, since she's obviously sorta weird and he can relate considering how he was treated in his childhood, but might regret it as soon as he sees just how awkward it can be. Anyway I think it'd be a fun time, he would probably try and take her out for lunch or ice cream or something... yeah. Would these two have recognized each other right away? Peng isn't really the one to go looking purposefully for his family members, but if he ran into her somewhere he wouldn't run away or anything.

well if natalia doesn't know clara v well then it's a-ok? i mean if natalia chooses to turn a blind eye clara's willing to play the part. she can do sweet and innocent all the time. but yeah, clara's got a thing for blood and she's all about violence. it's literally born and bred into her veins, lmao. clara has some kind of blood complex and some kind of control complex. she LOVES being on top and making people feel worthless. so i guess any attempt to kind of sway her away from a life of crime is kind of... a waste of time? she's a little primadonna and the mafia is her outlet. she dreams of becoming like daddy in his glory days, ahha.
peng + fangyin
fangyin actually quite likes ice cream, lol. well, fangyin didn't leave the family house much during her years, so she knows all the immediate family. so yeah, could be more of a case of fangyin knowing who peng is and stuff, and bumping into each other and all that. fangyin feels obliged to be kinda polite to family members, so at least she won't be hostile???? lol fangyin is rly odd ok

natalia & clara yeah Natalia and Clara would only know each other because Natalia comes to Nova now and again to visit Angelo, but besides that doesn't really hang around since she's not very fond of Giovanni. Natalia would probably try anyway to get Clara out of the crime life, but if it seemed hopeless after a few tries to talk with her then she'd probably give up, but she might spoil Clara anyway if she does the sweet & innocent act because Natalia is a total suck for kids. We could thread with both of them, or include Angelo too since it might make a bit more sense... I'm not sure how Natalia and Clara would ever end up hanging out together by themselves.
peng & fangyin ice cream is the shit. Okay so they know each other, so having them run into each other somewhere would be great. Usually Peng is hanging around weird spots waiting for people to come up to him with jobs, so maybe he'd see her or she'd see him or w/e and it would be all awkward and reunion-y from them on? two zhangs trying to make small talk sounds pretty great to me. If you like I can stick a thread up! Would east nova work?

&DOMINICK- heir to a resort place, he's probably- unfortunately -be on the radar a few times? maybe?? idk i just know that he probably tends to attract attention despite trying to keep it on the down-low.
&ERIK- SO ERIK RIGHT. LET ME TELL YOU SOMETHING ABOUT ERIK OK HE LOVES ATTENTION. so jenny, being a journalist and kind of focusing in entertainment, might know him? maybe?? he's got this big chain of hotels that was handed down to him and he kind of stays on the radar bc he's a bit of a playboy but don't tell his mother. who's dead. but still. tbh irregardless of whether jenny has interviewed him or not, he tries to keep newspaper people on his radar, so he'd probably go out of his way to know jenny at least?
&ALEX- she's Salem's personal assistant, tends to create meetings for him that he doesn't show up to and then apologises profusely for it. her and jenny probably go a little ways back.

It all sounds good, although Erik and Alex sound especially good. If Erik is a playboy then he might be something of an island celebrity and Jenny would love that (and perhaps have a dumb crush on him because she's a sucker for guys in the limelight).
and as for Alex a friend would be so awesome. I'd love that.
seriously let's thread it the hell up. I will start anything if you're ready to go for it, just let me know, 'cause Jenny's threads are currently wiiiide wide open. If you like, Jenny could go searching for Erik at a hotel or something, and as for Alex idk what they could do... maybe a day out or something?

theia and @jenny so theia is my sweet lil sweetie pie and she works at this cozy lil bookstore downtown. maybe the store needs some more publicity and theia approaches jenny to write a column about it? idk if they would know each other beforehand or not since jenny is like 4 years older than her, but jenny sounds like a sweetie pie so i think they would get along really well? lemme know what you think~
