if he said help me kill the president i'd say he needs medicine alright well here are some viable plots i'd really like to do with nate; note that they don't really call for characters to be made specifically for this purpose, just characters that fill somewhat specific niches. anyways, wanted: bad influences galore because nate doesn't feel emotionally for others (except for maybe minor irritation and general distaste for humanity), i feel like he'd be more inclined to indulge in the physical, basically in the five senses. what does this mean? he could really enjoy art (visual), music (auditory), being in nature, innocuous things like that. but nate would also become easily sunk into all the physical vices: alcohol, cigarettes, drugs, sex, crime because he has no morals, etc. so i'm basically looking for characters to introduce him to these things; they'd be "friends" and "lovers" with no actual emotional attachment on nate's part. fellow misanthropes/philosophers nate thinks humanity is stupid and life is really stupid and has no meaning and what's the point anyways??? how can people be happy knowing their existences are insignificant in the grand scheme of things?  ? so anyone who kind of gets him on an intellectual level nate might even enjoy being around. fellow fuck-ups of society would make pretty good company for nate imo. a therapist; anyone who wants to "help" well nate is obviously not a-okay mentally; he has narcissistic personality disorder and a burgeoning sociopathy, so......anyone who recognizes that and persistently tries to talk to him is more than welcome to try!!!! (i'd really love to do this one actually) an emotional attachment? it's possible and a relationship dynamic i definitely want to rp out eventually. maybe genuinely liking someone will teach him some empathy; more likely than not, it'll simply be a very unhealthy relationship in which nate is utterly obsessed. so if anyone's interested in any of this, let me know and we can elaborate on a plot!!! uwu |

@nao1 and cain not ... quite what you've been asking for but!! cain loves life and loves making people love life so i can see him being a little disgruntled by nate's attitude towards life that he tries to fix it? not necessarily like a therapist lol since he won't be able to realize it's a disorder, but he'll try to get him to love life like dragging him out to do stupid things because that's the ~essence~ of what living your life is about!! (also can i just say your writing is so nice in nate's profile guh so pretty ;  |

for #1 & #2 i can offer @mathilde
she's pretty similar in being unemotional and contemplating the futility of life (she works in a funeral home lol), and she almost went into pre-med so they're similiar idk. she's not like a psychopath but i can see them getting along. she also likes to go out and party so maybe she'd drag him along idk bye

I could be willing to make the 3 option. I wanted to make a younger character - an eighteen year old girl - for my next character. I haven't planned her exactly out, but I know her FC and stuff. -shrug- If you want to talk more, we can Private Message or Skype if you have it! |

@cain can i just say cain is such a qt and i do like this plot!! nate will think he's irritating at first what with his life is gr8 attitude.....but who knows maybe cain will grow on him and they'll have some weird opposites attract friendship where cain bugs him to no end and takes him to do stupid things (which nate is up for anyways). not sure how they met, or if a longterm friendship is even viable bc nate has no concept of it uGH sorry if this sounds really vague ;;;; but maybe cain just gets fed up one day bc nate refuses to be happy and punches him in the face B(((((
@mathilde right well nate would think mathilde is p chill and enjoy her company; he used to be a pretty morbid kid and liked dead animals (what a weirdo) and he still has an interest in anatomy......so he might drop by the funeral home to hang out and chat. i can definitely see mathilde getting him into drinking too so she can be like the cool senpai he looks up to idk either but she definitely fits as one of the scarce people he likes/respects

I added you. My Skype name at the moment is odd so I just said "hey this is dox from ambi" so you wouldn't freak out. lol And opps, I meant number 4, not number 3... -flails- I do have a psychologist in training that would be more than willing to talk to Nate.

BUT WE'RE ALREADY HERE AND IM GLAD YOU LIKE THE PLOT!! they ARE some weird opposites attract friendship thing ahaha but that'll be fun~ HE JUST WANTS HIM TO LIVE LIFE maybe hmm they meet in the hospital? does he even get internship at his age yet im not v sure ;;;; bwuh but maybe cain overhears him and he sort of starts arguing with him about the whole life is great thing!! I REALLY LIKE THAT LAST BIT ABOUT CAIN PUNCHING HIM THOUGH AHAHA WHY DO YOU FIND SO MANY THINGS TO BE NEGATIVE ABOUT PUNCH
