[attr="class","temps"] [attr="class","temps2"] | [attr="class","temps"]NATALIA CAITO THIRTY-NINE - FEMALE - BUSINESSWOMAN (TRAVEL INDUSTRY) send you my love on a wire, light you up every time everyone pulls away from you |
[attr="class","temps"]PERSONALITY
+ headstrong, goal-oriented, hardworking, organized, loving, well-spoken
- worrisome, obsessive, materialistic, vain, stubborn, domineering
Natalia comes off as someone with overflowing confidence, but this is mostly a result of her constant self-conscious feelings. She is obsessed with her work life to the point where she rarely has time for anything else - her job is the most important thing to her besides Angelo, though sometimes when she can't fall asleep she wonders if it's even more important. Deep down it isn't, but she consistently worries about how good of a mother she is, what with her job sending her all over the world.
She can be sarcastic but mostly has a dry humor that catches people off guard. Her ex, Giovanni, is forever a source of annoyance for her and despite her fears of his, well, business, she tends to go through conflict with him over Angelo and the life of crime that, to Natalia's eyes, is so easily laid out for him. Her coworkers joke about her behind her back - she knows about it, and tends to quietly spread gossip about the worst offenders in order to try and subtly ruin their lives. She is a master at passive-aggressiveness (as any mother should be) and an expert at embarrassing people.

[attr="class","temps"]OTHER
Natalia's many travels are because of her job in the travel industry. The company she works for sends her to various locations to see if people would be interested in the events/culture/etc in whatever place she's in. She also occasionally works as a tour guide if she needs more money, or helps manage the company itself. Due to her hardworking attitude she often takes on jobs that she doesn't need to do - jobs that she isn't trained to do, jobs that don't even need doing. As a result, she is paid mostly in overtime. Recently she has been sent to Nova to see if it can become an even larger tourist destination. She's happy to be able to see Angelo more, but also somewhat worried because of his ties to the Martinelli family, and whether or not it has seriously affected him.
Natalia has never made any attempts at a real family besides a man she dated in her early thirties who ended up going missing. Angelo remains her only child and she wants it to stay that way, since she has decided she would never have time for a family - she feels like she barely has enough time to keep in touch with Angelo. Her own mother spent tons of time with her when she was younger; her father had been out of the picture since Natalia could remember. Her mother was still very successful as a chef, reassuring Natalia that a husband wasn't necessary for her to do well for herself. She's had various flings and relationships throughout the years, notably her relationship with Giovanni Martinelli, and the man who disappeared, but nothing that ever truly succeeded.
