CONGRATULATIONS! DOOR ONE IS NOW OPEN! The thick, blue door closes behind you after you both enter. The moans and intensified cries of the undead filter through your eardrums. The thickness of the door calms you, but in this situation, perhaps it's not quite safe to presume, don't you think? The room is pitch black when you enter. In about ten seconds, the lights will illuminate the room. Oh. It's on. YOU ARE NOW IN THE MUSIC ROOM. DO YOUR BEST TO WIN.The words are written in blood, and they circle your feet. You wonder if you two are honestly alone. There is an ancient grand piano on the left of this spacious room. The cover hides the keys. It sits under an aged rug. The seat that accompanies it is dusty and oozes history, like the rest of the room. This place is no longer the castle for the wealthy and privileged; the spiders have taken over. The wall facing you is filled with bookshelves adorning books with all sorts of tired, forgotten titles. Above these bookshelves, there are three paintings of old, each with a lady with a different hair accessory. They smile, but it's not beautiful. Three gold frames hold them together. A grandfather clock is to your left, sitting beside a window with drawn curtains. It ticks eerily, and it's then you notice you can't hear the voices of the undead any more. Storage cupboards and a long sofa is what you find on your right. The next thing that strikes you is the lack of an exit, other than the one you just came from. But even if you go back and turn the knob, it's locked tight. * BEFORE POSTING HERE, REMEMBER TO POST A CONCLUDING POST IN THE FIRST EVENT THREAD. THANK YOU *@kirk @juniper

BANG BANG, WE'RE BEAUTIFUL AND DIRTY RICH | If the door hadn't closed behind them she would have gladly slammed it shut. The dark bothered her but it was better than being out in the main hall. However it wasn't long before the lights came on, causing her to breath a sigh of relief because there were no weird undead people in here.
Plus the light gave her an oppertunity to examine her leg, something which she'd prefer not to look at. A bloody mess was the only way she could describe it, it wasn't like she could do anything about it now however the shoes were going to have to do. She'd rather walk around on the spider infested floor barefooted than risk a bigger ankle injury.
"You realise if there's running I might need some help right?" Juniper muttered, glancing at her forced companion, crouching down to take off one of her shoes, noticing the red substance on the floor. No ... that couldn't be ... "This is sick, it's actually sick" she added, carefully stepping out of the heels to avoid the blood. Even as a joke this was twisted, someone had a sick sense of imagination.
"'Do your best to win?' Win what? What are we supposed to do?" she exlaimed, glancing round the room. There was a window, but she doubted escape would be as simple as breaking the window and running away. "Any bright ideas captain?"

The mansion, despite its name, didn't seem to have any sort of heating system installed. Then again, Kirk mused, he probably wouldn't have even noticed if not for the stark temperature contrast between his clothed leg and now bare ankle. The 'zombies' had torn a good chunk out of his dress pants, and he groped blindly at the tear, discarding the useless fork on the floor in the process, for it only served to hinder his progress, now. When the lights flickered back on, his efforts were still fruitless, and he had to lift up his free arm to shield at his face, grumbling complaints under his breath. The lighting difference tore at his headache mercilessly, and for a second, he wasn't sure if he preferred the ethereal moans of those still outside or whatever room he'd managed to land himself in. Not that he had much of a choice in the first place, but still.
"Don't think there's gonna be any running anytime soon, sailor." Deciding that the best way out of the room was to actually find an exit first, Kirk, narrowing his eyes against the onsets of another headache, decided that a quick sweep around the room wasn't going to hurt anyone. The circle of words, he had to read first, then step over (after all, who knew what sort of trap or curse hid underneath), and his eyes were immediately drawn to the grand piano, looming innocently in the corner. Kirk approached it, frowning quietly to himself at the memories of drunken serenades and awful singing from those late night bar customers, then plinked a few notes on it with his index finger.
"Got any playing experience, sailor?" For the most part, he'd been ignoring mask girl, lazily filtering her words so that they muddled in the back of his mind, with the alcohol. Now, it seemed as if he had no choice but to ask her for a favor(because he only knew how to play 'jingle bells', and that certainly wasn't going to make some magical, unlocked door - or whatever it was that they were looking for - appear). | SO LATE i'm very sorry ;u; @juniper |

BANG BANG, WE'RE BEAUTIFUL AND DIRTY RICH | "I wouldn't rule it out, yet nothing would really surprise me right now." the idol replied, wrapping the straps of her shoes around her fingers so she could carry them without much trouble. After all, zombies weren't exactly normal now were they? So anything wouldn't surprise her all that much.
"Just getting out is all I want right now." she added, stepping over the weird trails of blood before glancing back at her fellow captive, an unspoken 'now what?' in her body language.
"Do I play? Of course I play." Juniper replied, a frown on her lips as she limped over to the piano, sitting upon the stool and attempting to carefully remove her tights. After all she'd learnt from enough medical dramas that if you started bleeding you were supposed to tie it up, and her tights were pretty much trashed anyway.
"Is there any sheet music about or am I playing off the top of my head?" she asked whilst making up her makeshift bandage. After all it had to be something specific right? Otherwise they weren't going anywhere.

The piano keys shine eerily under the light, and it's a surprise dust has not gathered here yet. You can hear low groans begin again beyond the door.
Unexpectedly, the old grandfather clock sounds, marking the hour. The clock points at one o'clock, but where the 'one' should be is a cross instead.
Try playing the piano. See what it does.

BANG BANG, WE'RE BEAUTIFUL AND DIRTY RICH | Okay she supposed she should do this then ... she didn't like the sound of whatever it was outside, so if she had to play the piano then she would. She was about to say that she was sorry for messing this up, but she wouldn't. She didn't see Kirk rushing to play, so who even cared. He could just carry her to safety.
"I would like to thank my piano teacher for having a large obsession with Mozart," the idol replied, placing her fingers on the keys. Seriously, the dude was crazy but he was really talented ... however crazy he may be. Plus Mozart was really great ... so sonata 11 would be perfect. Plus it was lengthy, God knew how long she'd need to be playing.

The end of the piece marks the end of an era.
The space under KIRK's feet opens up and the man falls down, down down; much like a rabbit. You can't even hear him scream. Turn, and there's no hint of him there.
An ending also marks the beginning of a new time, however.
The space above the center of the room opens up, and another invitee is thrown into the arena. This one's a little soft. You best explain everything to her, now.
During Juniper's performance, the keys A, E, D, F are stuck and won't press down. Now, I wonder why?

First there is nothing, and out of the blue, Theia is tossed into a room by a force she can't see. She almost lands on her feet cleanly, but stumbles and ends up catching herself mid-fall.
It takes a moment to process everything—the piano, the books, the blood—and the only other person she can see is one that she isn't familiar with.
"Excuse me, you wouldn't happen to know what's....going on, would you?" But from previous little experience with Nova's supernatural, Theia could probably make an educated guess.

BANG BANG, WE'RE BEAUTIFUL AND DIRTY RICH | "Shit!" the woman shouted as the ground swallowed up her partner. No. If that was supposed to happen then she was the one that was supposed to be leaving not him! She'd played the damn thing, albeit very poorly due to the fact some of the keys were just blocked.
Still she wasn't alone for long, someone else fell out of the sky and she couldn't help but think the room had become like a station. "Well you missed the good stuff, by good stuff I mean zombies trying to attack us," Juniper replied "Captain Kirk just got swallowed up by the fucking enterprise too so it's just you and me, trying to get out of here!"
However her attention was more focused on these keys. In all honesty, she wouldn't be surprised if there was a dead body inside of the thing but it should still play ... meaning that something was probably under the keys. Grabbing one of her discarded heels the pop star decided that hacking at the damn keys to lift them would be the best option. "So if you'd like to help me figure out what's wrong with this piano I'd appreciate it as I, you know, don't want to die here."
Was she thinking straight? Probably not, but at the moment it seemed like a good idea.

The grandfather clock strikes two, and like the previous gone hour, a cross marks where the number used to be.
You ought to hurry up now, maybe.
Hacking at the piano keys only results in them being dislodged from their position. There is nothing special about the keys themselves. Why did those keys in particular jam, anyway? Why those notes?
During Theia's landing, several thick music books have collapsed around her, one hitting her in the leg. The book opens on a biography page of a famous dead composer.

A look of disbelief crosses Theia's face and she almost says something before she hears the clock strike. She looks to it sharply, sees the crosses, and figures that they're being timed. Time to get to work, then.
She takes a step and her foot hits a book, the same one that had hit her in the leg. She looks and briefly looks at the page that it is open to, makes the connection between the composer and the piano like a click in her mind. She bends down to pick it up, glances over the page as she walks to the piano.
"I don't think hitting it will do much good." Theia says, still half-reading. "Have you tried taking a look inside of it?" Theia didn't know all that much about pianos, but she figured that usually if something was wrong, it had to do with the inside.
Somehow she felt that her powers would come in handy, but she wasn't sure how she was supposed to use them. How were you supposed to play the piano with a bunch of keys missing?
She pauses at the front of the piano, trying to decide whether to wrench the top open or to copy the composer's piano skills and try and play the thing. After a few more moments she decides on the latter and grips the book tight, closes her eyes and concentrates. She can explain it to the other woman later.
She could feel her power working its magic, and then she knows how to play the piano like the famous composer. A closer look at the piano and she can judge which are missing, and suddenly she hesitates to play it. She draws her fingers over the keys that aren't playing, presses them in a few random orders. "I can play a piece, but I really think we should look inside it." She eyes the clock and worries about what will happen if their time runs out.

BANG BANG, WE'RE BEAUTIFUL AND DIRTY RICH | Oh God, why couldn't there just be a key or something under one of the keys. She didn't want to have to face the prospect of finding a severed arm or something in the piano! Attempting to place the keys back where they had previously been stationed, Juniper glanced over at the newcomer before raising an eyebrow.
"After tales of zombies and almost getting mauled to death, it wasn't really my first option. I don't like the idea of opening it up and finding dismembered body parts," she quickly replied.
Who even was this girl anyway? And why was she so interested in that damn book? Stepping over to the side, curious to see what the brunette would do next. "I just tried, but whatever," the purple haired idol muttered, her curious gaze still trained on 'book girl' (as she had decided to call her) as she side stepped around the piano to the latch where she could open it up. So how did book girl suddenly know what to play, did she have a nice little conversation with the book or some creepy shit like that.
"Fine, I'll open it. But I swear to God if there's someone's head inside of here," Juniper added before yanking open the piano top to look inside. Well she was going to scream if there was. Who wouldn't, this was really messed up.

The grandfather's clock strikes three.
Having not figured out the piano key's message, or the name of the composer, nothing happens.
As if the book is trying to tell you this, it shuts itself harshly, and doesn't open for a good three minutes.

Theia starts when the book shuts, tries to open it and frowns when it seems determined to stay shut. She sighs and puts it on the bench, glowers for a few moments before looking back at the doors. She's at a loss for what to do and she's only just a little bit scared.
"Do you have any other ideas?" She asks somewhat helplessly, looks at the dislodged piano keys as if they hold some kind of answer. No doubt that they do, but she's not quite sure just what it is.

BANG BANG, WE'RE BEAUTIFUL AND DIRTY RICH | Moving onto her tiptoes to try and gain a better view, she quickly had to abandon the action, the stinging pain in her legs becoming more insufferable. Reaching her hand inside the piano top she swung it around cautiously, ready to pull it out if it came into contact with something that wasn't supposed to be there. Or if she got bitten by something, she wouldn't put anything past this place.
Looking over to her new found companion, she glanced over at the book before looking back at the woman. "Is it not opening?" she asked, raising an eyebrow. "If it's not opening, it's probably a clue or something. That and the clock that won't shut up, so I'll look at the clock and you keep trying with the book?"
It something was hidden then it was normally a clue wasn't it? One last check of the piano and then over to the clock she guessed.
