GUYS, GUESS WHAT? FINN USED TO HAVE FRIENDS. LIKE. THE PEOPLE THAT YOU BONDED WITH AT THAT HATED INSTITUTION CALLED “SCHOOL.”

Unbelievable, right? I know.

But I had ideas for a really complicated romance-angst plot, and if you asked me how it was going to work out, I would just stare at you really dumb-like. But I’m doing it anyway, because I know you guys just need the littlest excuse to make another character, and Temptation is my middle name.

ANYWAY.

So, before Finn’s father went kaploop and Finn went to school, he hung out with these really fun people, and when he stopped going to school, he avoided these people out of shame—and I want them to meet again and have a really nice, angst-y reunion. And the archetypes may or may not be based on the Raven Cycle. Here:

SUBJECT A: THAT RICH GUY. You must give this guy a really funny name that only rich people get, like Heathcliff G. Lexington III or something. He’s that rich.

This southern gentleman is the glue that held everybody together—he was the one everybody wanted to be around. Generous with money, impeccably polite, and irritatingly oblivious—key traits. Everything else, I honestly don’t care. He and Finn got along really well, and he is the most on-board for getting Finn back into their group of friends.

SUBJECT B: THE JERKFACE. This guy is your typical high school rich kid—jockey, snarky, drinks a lot, douche canoe.

Plot twist—he’s gay. For the rich guy.

The jerkface and the rich guy actually go waaaaaay back, and back then, the jerkface used to be kind of okay, until something big happened and the jerkface became an actual jerkface. You can figure it out. He doesn’t really get along with the other people of the group—he just gets along with them because they’re friends with the rich guy.

SUBJECT C: THE POOR KID. He’s the one without money. He’s living a hard life, but he’s terribly independent and won’t take nobody’s money, much to the rich guy’s chagrin. He’s really, really, really picky about money, and hates those that spend it freely—so his relationship with the rich kids is kind of complicated. He liked the rich guy, because he seemed to genuinely care for him, even if he’s trying to throw money at him 24/7, he sort of tolerated Finn, and he absolutely loathes the jerkface.

SUBJECT D: THE GIRLIE. This one is a wildcard. You can do pretty much whatever you want with her, except for the fact that she’s not a that shoujo manga girl—no-nonsense and very sensible.

THIS IS THE FUN FACTOR, BECAUSE I HAVE ABSOLUTELY NO IDEA WHICH GUY SHE’S ACTUALLY GOING TO GET WITH!!!!! ‘cept jerkface.

So, basically:

Rich Guy <3 Girlie (eventually)
Jerkface <3 Rich Guy (from the start)
Poor Guy <3 Girlie (eventually)
Girle = mass of raging hormones
and would you guys explode if i said finn is bicurious? sadly, he's not. u_u

And now I realize this is really really really complicated, now that it’s all written out, and probably like nobody is as enthusiastic about this as I am but I’m trying okay. I just want angst. u_u
