He is one-hundred percent Irish.
Born in Ireland, but ported off with his mother to Nova Athenis at the age of eight when his old man got killed in a hit and run. Fionn's mummy dearest remarried, which at first appeared, like a second chance for a 'happily ever after'. His life appeared pretty ordinary, going to school, hang out with his friends - typical kid stuff. Little did they realize the man collected a substantial debt taking loans from sharks to satiate his gambling addiction. His stepfather resorted to alcohol to escape as his mother worked multiple jobs to help pay off the debt. When he was old enough to take up a job, he picked up a part time job to ease the burden.
His lifestyle at this point was a boiling pot about to overflow of scalding hot water. It finally tipped over when the gambling switched to alcoholism turned to domestic abuse. There was only so many problems Fionn could've stand before enough was enough. When he snapped, fought back, his mother reprimanded him, taking the alcoholic's side. Blinded by her love for the sad sod.
Feeling betrayed by this realization, he took his leave as soon as he was considered a legal adult. He spent the last couple of years learning the in's and out's of becoming a bartender. Good business to pay rent.
