☁ rhea grew up in a family of four boys. she's the youngest - the baby of the family if you will - but she's never been treated that way. she's been pushed around, bullied and insulted since she could string together sentences. her first word was 'asshole' which was directed towards her mother. her first sentence was 'fuck you' which was directed to her eldest brother. her first insult was 'the only reason you were born was because you were so ugly you killed off the competition' which was said when she was ten towards her youngest brother. needless to say, she didn't have a lot of friends as a kid.
☁ as an escape, rhea found herself taking up music. she taught herself to play the keyboard she had found in the basement of her house and picked up her eldest brother's acoustic guitar. in high school, she joined every-music related club and every music-related class she could. four for years, she dedicated herself to music and it grew from a hobby to a solid passion through those four years. she performed at every talent show, every open-mic, every audition she could get herself into and pushed for a career in music as hard as she could.
☁ rhea had no interest in playing bass until her band teacher brought it up to her. she was hesitant, but found bass far more fulfilling than guitar, though she can still play both as well as keyboard. she's dabbled in other instruments at the request of her band teacher, but bass, guitar and keyboard are her mains.
☁ rhea was found and signed by pure luck. one of her friend's boyfriend's had a band and their bassist ended up getting cold feet last minute before their gig and she ended up filling in for him. somehow, the video ended up on youtube and she caught the eye of a talent scout, before she knew it she was signed.
☁ for the first few years of her career, rhea was put into bands for short-periods of time. she acted as a temporary bassist until someone "better" came along. it took a toll on her confidence in herself, but she found herself working harder and longer with her need to prove herself even stronger. eventually, she figured, her hard work payed off and she was assigned to a pretty good band and has been with them for about four years.
