It's just another apartment, and to be honest, Dominick isn't even sure if he even wants to go on the job today. It isn't normal for him to feel cold feet before a job, and even though he's certain it's not him getting a little scared before a job, he doesn't really want to do it. Maybe it's remorse, as unbelievable as it is. Pretending that he's just another civilian, going up to his room, he takes a sharp left and picks one by random. With the hallway empty, he kneels down in front of the door and starts picking the lock, thankfully finding that it's a lot easier than some of the other ones he's used to. Before long, he's in, and he's searching for something worth a shiny penny - or maybe even something nice enough to keep of his own. @nan01

Star's been home all day, but she's also been working all day. Her face is covered in paint, her clothes soaked in the colours of the rainbow and her hair, don't even get her started on her hair. When she's done her project, she rushes to the bathroom for a shower. She doesn't notice the door unlock itself and open. She can't hear the footsteps over the sound of rushing water. When she gets out of the shower, and wraps a fluffy, white towel around her damp body, she doesn't hesitate to leave the bathroom and wander her apartment almost nude. The blue hair she spots, however, is surprising enough to make her scream. Loud, extremely loud at that. "Holy shit, what the fuck are you doing in my apartment?" She yells. She grabs the nearest item she can find, and chucks it at him, hopefully hitting his head. DOMINICK KIRK

The sounds of the shower told him he had to move quickly, but at the same time he was too busy marveling at the work laid out haphazardly like he was in some sort of art show. Dominick had to say, he was impressed, as he would gladly hang up a painting or two up in his own house, and that was saying something considering how picky he was about how things looked. Fixing Star with a peachy grin, he couldn't help himself. "Wrong door, apparently. Mine jams all the time so I usually have to break myself in... My apologies." He bowed a little, starting to back away. Then he paused, glancing over at one of the paintings he liked in particular, almost promising that he'd come back for it. "You're very talented, by the way." Maybe if he wasn't caught mid-in-the-act of robbing her, he'd also compliment her appearance in general, or acknowledged the fact that she was standing in a towel, but Dominick didn't feel like pushing his luck. He knew he was running out eventually. @nan01

Wrong door her ass, Star didn't believe this man for a second. However, her anger seemed to fade while his apologized. She's not sure if she was angry or just surprised, she's got nothing to hide in this apartment, nothing to steal as well. "You're just sorry you got caught boy," she says. His compliment does make her grin proudly though. Art compliments are her favourite compliments to get. "Thanks, I guess," she says. However, that doesn't deter her from her goal, to get him the hell out of her apartment. "Feel free to keep complimenting my talent while you're on your way out as well." DOMINICK KIRK

A sheepish grin found it's way to his face, Dominick shrugging as he crossed his arms around his chest. "Wouldn't you apologize with your hand in the cookie jar as well?" He doubted that, considering it was probably just him and his kleptomaniac tendencies. Nodding, Dominick made sure to escort himself out of her room, dedicating it to memory to come back later. And later he did, picking his way in with ease once again as he decided to make it a speedy escape this time. In and out, what he originally planned to do since a few of her paintings could sell for a pretty penny. Or maybe they'd look better hanging on his wall? Either way, Dominick wanted them. @nan01

Star frowns, "No, I wouldn't." It's the last thing she says to him as he makes his way out her door. She shakes her head and mutters, "Men." under her breath before shutting and locking the door. Once she figures she's safe enough, she gets ready to go out. Star stumbles into her apartment late, she kicks off her shoes and slams the door shut. She locks it and throws her stuff all over the place before making her way towards the kitchen. She doesn't notice that the door was unlocked when she got home, nor does she notice the somewhat familiar man that seems to be walking around her apartment, looking to steal one of her paintings. Though, if she were more sober, she probably wouldn't care. DOMINICK KIRK, shitty posts all day all night

Once he had left, he decided to go to a coffee shop just across the street, figuring he'd wait it out. Eventually she was going to go to sleep, or maybe if his luck was there he'd be able to even be in and out with no one stopping him. It would have been an easy job - should have been an easy job - but when she left, he had taken his sweet time. Paintings? Tons of them. They were great, he'd be able to sell this as 'new, modern art' and make a pretty penny or two.
Or maybe hang it up in his home. Either way, he took too much time admiring, and when the time was up, and Star had returned, she didn't seem to have noticed him. So Dominick took a painting under one arm and decided that maybe he'd be able to make a stealthy escape.
