With a hand pressed against the wall, he swore he could feel the beat of the bass through the bricks. The faint thrum of music, the bubble of noise whenever the building's door opened. The evening air was cold, though not quite fresh - heavy with cigarette smoke, the stink of trash in the alley.
The sour smell of his own vomit.
Angel wiped at his face - he had no sleeves to really do a proper job of it. He tried to fling the mess onto the ground - not onto his shoes, he thought absently.
What now? He could go back into the club, clean himself up in the girl's bathroom, wash out his mouth with more alcohol. Or he could go home. It felt too early for that. He wasn't going to stay here, the smell was making him sick, even with nothing left to come up. He wrinkled his nose, turning to stumble onto the street. AND I SAID HELLO, HELLO SHE REALLY HAD NO IDEA, how Erik managed to drag her out to a club. The fact that she was not feeling her way across the wall to the door she'd been eyeing for a good half-hour was a true sign of how well attuned to the night life Kasper was. Erik had said it would be good for her, though she always seemed to forget she wasn't a crowd kind of person, she had severe anxiety over large groups of people.
Finally finding the door, she pushed it open with her back, eyes watching the crowd to make sure no one grabbed her as she left. She really couldn't handle the embarrassment of having a panic attack at a place like this. As she exited the building, her nose wrinkled. She could still feel the thumping from the bass, but also smell something sour in the air. Her eyes moved to the side to see someone hunched over themselves. A frown came over her lips as she took a step forwards.
"Are you alright?" She asked quietly, reaching into her bag she had securely over her shoulder and taking out a cloth. Kasper took a step forwards, offering the cloth to him, or was it a her? From the angle, she couldn't really tell. Her judgement of people had always been off, in a way that was almost embarrassing for her. "This is all I have to clean up, but if you'd like, I could help you. You seem a little ill" The woman offered, concern in both her voice and features.

He glanced up, a bit of a deer-in-headlights look, caught looking so so far from his best. He squinted at the woman, didn't recognize her, and tucked a strand of hair behind his ear, blinking dumbly for a few seconds before he took a slow step closer and took the cloth.
He didn't say thank you, wiping at his face, then his hands, and tossing the cloth aside without giving it much consideration. Then he looked back at the woman. Angel opened his mouth, forgot what he meant to say, and shut it again with a click. His tongue pressed against his teeth, it tasted rancid, and he grimaced before considering the woman.
"I don't remember your name." He admitted with a crooked grin, running a hand through his hair. AND I SAID HELLO, HELLO KASPER WATCHED HIM, closely in case he tried something. She glanced behind herself, towards the open alleyway. While she hated to turn her back on people, if it came to it, she'd run towards the mouth of the alleyway. Over the years, the younger college student had gotten pretty quick on her feet, though the last couple years she hadn't had to run as much. Once he took the cloth from her, she took a step back, hands held behind her back as she watched his curiously. The smell on the air made her head spin, but she wasn't the type of person to leave when it looked like someone may need her. And it clearly looked like this blond needed a bit of help.
She perked up a bit as he opened his mouth to speak, but when no words came out, Kasper continued to stand there, moving her eyes away from the blond before she felt like she was being too rude. Her eyes slid back towards him after a moment, watching his jaw flex slightly. After a moment, she reached into her shoulder bag, grabbing a pack of gum out. As she reached out to offer him a piece, she heard his comment. She shrugged slightly. " I don't think we've ever met before. But my name's Kasper " She offered the name with a soft smile.
Yeah, maybe she was being overly friendly. But this was how the girl was. Always looking to help someone out, and state the obvious. She almost always gave her name when people asked, and tried to introduce herself. Her name wasn't one most saw on a daily basis, so it was easier to remember, at least she thought so. Her head tilted to the side slightly. " Do you have a place to go and get cleaned up? This alley isn't very sanitary " The white-haired girl asked, head tilted slightly.

His fingers caught on a sticky snarl, wincing as he tried to pull through it. He ended up giving on his hair as a lost cause. He was a lost cause, he thought, and a smile broke onto his face, a laugh broke past his lips. It was just a flicker before it was gone and he was staring at her with narrowed eyes and curled lip.
"Angel." He said curtly.
It was strange, if they had never met before. She was smiling, and he stared at her offering a few seconds before he snatched it from her hand and popped several pieces into his mouth. The was no need for manners, they were standing in an alleyway that stank of vomit and garbage. He didn't hand the gum back either, he just crossed his arms and chewed rather loudly. He rolled it into a ball with his tongue, pushed it to the back of his mouth as he considered the woman.
"Sanitary?" he echoed, as if he didn't know what the word meant. He did, just not from personal experience. Angel shrugged. "Don't you have anywhere to mind your own business?" Sure, she was being nice now, but she'd want something out of it later, and Angel wasn't much for doing returning favours. AND I SAID HELLO, HELLO WELL, IT WAS A FITTING, name, now that he was slightly cleaned up. Free of vomit, Kasper tilted her head slightly as she looked him up and down. The young woman had always been overly friendly, especially to those that seemed like they needed help. And at the moment, it had seemed like he needed help. He really was a pretty human being, she had to admit. She really should have left after handing him the gum, but something kept her there, she just wasn't sure what. She glanced behind her as she heard a voice, blinking slowly, then turned once more as she heard his voice.
A frown, and a tilt of her head, Kasper watched him after a moment, choosing not to speak until she could find the right words that wouldn't make her sound completely dumb. Sure, she had somewhere she could have gone, but to be honest? She had no idea where the hell she was in the city. She knew it was on the opposite side of where Erik and her lived, but she wasn't sure how to get home from there. So, she just chose something completely different from what she should say. "I was just doing a favor, no need to be snippy. I don't ask for anything in return, other than you hopefully feeling better in the future" Kasper said, trying to make her smile seem sweet, her voice the same tone as before.
