CRUCIFIED AS IF ON A CROSS Everything inside the infirmary was sanitized, meticulous, White, and blindingly so. Yin Xing's lips pulled into a taut line as she entered, still not quite used to the blending odor from chemicals. Disinfectant, rubbing alcohol, a faint trace scent of coffee left by its previous occupant. She picked up a neatly ironed lab coat (white) off the hanging rack and slipped it over the school uniform, before reaching for the ribbon (also white) inside the left pocket. She was filling in for the school nurse, for the third time this month. It was fine, the young herbalist could always use more experience in such a strange country, especially with the internship on the side. Though it was a little concerning, if the nurse would be fitting for the role if he couldn't even take care of his own body. Kettle boiled the next second and water was poured into the porcelain cup, stirring up the tea leaves. Seemed like the started of a slow day. @vera, maybe open after idk

Vera was wondering what colour the ceiling was when she carried into the infirmary by a kind hearted girl with a name she couldn't quite pick up on. It was too sad to think the ceiling would be such a boring colour. Why wasn't it pink? Pink like dusty roses with dainty white polka dots! She thought this country would be more liberal with colour choices but maybe Vera was just hoping for too much.
Her arm was slung onto her classmate's shoulder, body weight mostly shifted on the taller girl. The Chinese girl had spent most of her time hobbling down the corridor in her PE kit with a dazed expression on her face. This was all because of one reason:
Vera Fang climbed one of the trees at the back of the school building while everyone else was running laps. And then, she fell and heavily scraped her knee. It stung, of course, but the dainty little albino girl was used to it. Accidents like this happened too often, because she cared not to pay attention.
It was her classmate that knocked once onto the door of the infirmary, and opened the door, leading her in. At the sight of her older sister Yin, Vera gasped and smiled. She literally pushed her classmate away so she could hobble over to her sister excitedly, waving her arms around.
"Sister! Hug time! I want a hug! Hug hug!"

It was a voice much too familiar that broke the silence. She settled the tea, still untouched, back onto the desk and rose from the chair, wondering what kind of trouble her sister had gotten into this time. Yin Xing turned from her spot just in time to catch the younger in a gentle embrace. A smile hung on her face as she acknowledged the other girl with a courteous nod, then have ying su a light pat on the head. "Alright, you got your hug." She was the first to step back from the moment, not so keen on displays of affection while there was an audience, waving a hand, gesturing her to sit down on the bed. "Now then, want to tell me what happened?"

"Ehhhhhhhhh?" Was the unhelpful response given instead. She liked hugs. Vera, for the life of her, couldn't understand why her dear older sister didn't.
But Vera was a good girl, so she sat down on the bed like she had done so many other times when she'd sneak out to visit her sister, of course when she shouldn't be. Classes were so boring without sister!
"I climbed a tree! That's what happened!" She declared proudly, hoping Yinxing would give her a medal and pat her on the back. "PE was really boring! I don't like PE!"
