Her upbringing was unusual, to say the very least. Setting aside the fact that she was super spoiled due to their wealth. Her father was considered a madman - still is - and she was raised with his ideals in mind. This caused her to develop a very nasty personality, including deliberate violence and subtle to not-so-subtle sadism. She doesn't necessarily hide it - you could say that she perfumes the so-called bad qualities with good ones. She knows that she's young and cute, and she'll play that up as long as it's convenient.
Few people in the world mean as much to Nessa as a select few family members, mainly being her Father and Brother. Yes, she was taught how important family was growing up - protecting each other and all that - but she can't help but pick favorites. She's not too shy about voicing her affection and favoritism, either. She doesn't really have any shame when it comes to that.
She takes enjoyment in playing tricks on people. Most often these come in the form of pranks, though they can range from mildly annoying to incredibly dangerous.
