if our love's insanity why are you my clarity? From afar, Vera had slipped off her shoes and lifted the balls of her feet up into the air to get a better look at the beautiful sight. She gasped, using both hands to cover her open mouth so that sand wouldn't fly into that perfect little hole. Vera didn't want to choke on sand. Sand wasn't yummy. But the smell of hot dogs and onions and cheese was, and her little not yet taken in breakfast stomach growled, for the afternoon show was going to start. Vera knew it, her black wristwatch said so! But now, watching the fluttering flag in the distance made her sad. For the fifth time, she emptied her pockets as she knelt on the pavement by the beach. Nope. No ticket. No dice. No elephants. No acrobats. No show!
Vera wanted to cry. But instead of walking away from the big red circus tents, she walked towards it instead, and with no time was outside, a short distance from the queue to enter. The white haired girl sniffled. She could hear the noise and excitement from where she stood, but no dice. No ticket, no dice! No ticket, no life! She was going to rot here for a century. She knew it. HAVEN LOVELLDANKE Ϟ

At some point during the performance, the young aerialist had slipped outside for a breath of air. The crisp oceanic breeze that greeted him once he stepped into natural sunlight was welcomed after the sweltering heat inside the big top. Between the multitude of lights and oooing and ahhing audience members, the temperature inside the tent rose uncomfortably high. He was certainly not dressed to accommodate the heat. No one in the circus was.
His fellow performers must have gotten used to the temperature at one point in their career. He was fresh in the game and it would be some time until he could tolerate suffocating heat the way they could. For now, Haven needed something to drink. The blunette made for one of the many food stalls on the boardwalk without a moment’s hesitation. He had plenty of time before he was up to perform. He intended to get a drink but ended up with an ice cream instead. His sweet tooth couldn’t be denied.
Ice cream in hand, the circus performer made his way back towards the big top. His outlandish attire was catching attention, though thankfully not the usual kind. The people who looked his way and gawked weren’t rowdy men. No one hooted or hollered vulgar pickup lines his way no matter how feminine he looked in his getup. It was nice for a change. He was free to make his way back to the circus without having to knee anyone in the groin.
The huge tent with three impressive, red spires came into view. He had always loved the circus as a child. Watching all the performers display their unique talents in such a creative fashion. It was magical. Now he had a chance to be a part of it. Everyone came to be captivated by his magical performance now. The thought made him giddy, putting a bounce in his step as he hurried back. He was almost there when he spotted her, the white hair girl standing timidly away from the crowd.
“Something wrong?” Haven asked as he approached the albino from the side. From what he could see from her profile, she looked distressed. The blunette was in an exceptionally good mood so he made the choice to help her out however he could. Besides, she was really cute. “Did you lose your money or something?” He licked at his ice cream cone, careful not to let it drip on his costume. Ice cream was so much better than a soda. “I can get you in if you like.”

if our love's insanity why are you my clarity? Vera almost leapt up ten feet into the air when she noticed the sudden presence. Instead, she moved back a little, startled, with both her hands cradling her cheeks, bright red eyes staring at a very pretty person. Tilting her head, she studied him carefully as if checking a painting for watermarks. "You're so pretty!" She clapped with a cheer in her voice, completely forgetting the boy's offer for help. "Your hair is so long! Your cheeks are so... so..." Her vocabulary still wasn't so brilliant. "Pretty! You're pretty!"HAVEN LOVELLDANKE Ϟ

Although she certainly wasn't the most articulate girl, her compliment brought of dust of pink to his pale cheeks. Haven was often complimented but het enthusiasm in doing so was different than what he was used to. It was adorable too. A quick glance over concluded she was a cutie through and through. "Thank you," he replied with a smile. "You're pretty cute yourself."
She was certainly unusual but he wasn't complaining one bit. He worked in the circus - everyone was. "Did you need help with something? I am sure I could be of some assistance." She seemed the easily distracted type so he made sure to repeat himself. "Oh, and could I ask your name? Mine is Haven." He looked down at her as he waited for her response. It was probably as cute as she was.

Vera laughed, akin to a Disney bird. "Ah, ah," She said, waving a hand around, and calming her cheeks that weren't dusted red. "Aiya, you shouldn't say such things! I get embarrassed!" Vera giggled, but bounced back on her tip toes, raising up and down on the spot. "Ah, you ask my name? My name is Vera! I came here no so long ago, lost my ticket, and my luck is down the drain." She frowned dramatically, giving Haven a dose of the puppy eyes, but not really expecting anything in return. She did miss his offer to invite her in, after all. Vera wasn't the most attentive of girls. HAVEN LOVELL
