EAT A DICK FEATURING IDK SOMEONE PLZ There were a lot of shady figures that wandered these parts of Nova, so late at night, slinking like shadows. Raul Coelho was one of them. No wait, that wasn't right. He was one of the good guys.
Oh yes, dangerous to be here, now. Was he the good cop or the bad cop? He was alone, so he'd have to play both parts. He felt more like a spy, and a fleeting grin crosses his features, thinking of bond girls. He was in one of the darkened alleyways, just him and a cigarette spewing smoke. It smelled like trash, and there was the sound of footsteps coming round the corner. Inspector Coelho stood up straight from where he leaned against a wall.
Just because he didn't do his job didn't mean he didn't like it. That was probably why he liked it, because there wasn't work involved.
Also, he got to carry a gun. It made him feel dastardly and dangerous, when he could slide a hand into jacket and feel the metal warming beneath his fingers.
He slipped it out of his jacket. Raul was a good shot. If he cared to aim. He held out the gun – his grip was loose and one-handed. Who knew what kind of person could be around this kind of corner; he had to take precautions. He titled his head - there was someone coming.
"Marco…" He called, softly, singsong.

Being lost in an alley was not Hunter's idea of an ideal night on the town. Actually, it was very far from it. She let out an agitated huff as she looked around for a familiar landmark of some kind - anything that could get her moving in the right direction. She had a feeling that taking a different, supposedly shorter, route home was going to be a bad idea, but she also had a tendency to not listen to people as often as she probably should.
Looking down at her phone, Hunter realized that she was also out of service. How ironic, that she'd be stuck in an alley, lost, and without service to bring up a map. Whoever told her that this labyrinth was a shortcut to her apartment building was a liar that was going to get a surprisingly angry Hunter in the morning. There could be psychopaths in a place like this - or hobos, or just really unfriendly people in general!
The sound of a voice, a deep one, made her jump, twisting around to see that no one was actually there. Whether it was a trick on her mind or someone that could actually help her, Hunter stopped caring and instead gave a "Polo?" in reply before slowly turning around the ever-so ominous corner while silently hoping it wasn't a serial killer.
Though in a town like this, you never knew. | { }

William could well be a narcissist if he didn't control himself. He very well enjoyed the sound of the clicking of his expensive shoes, the look of horror when he sat down in a bar he regularly visited, and the far away sighs of admiration from men and women admires alike. In fact, most days he felt invincible. Southern Nova Athenis was like his new playground. He even got to know the hiding places Damien couldn't find him in. Of course, he'd always been a champion at hide and seek. Damien was always the loser.
In fact, that night, he was heading back to his office after a good night of drinks watching the same insufferable fools make fools of themselves. At least he didn't encounter another dead body. Believe it or not, it was a fairly traumatic event. He rolled his shoulders back in anticipation, hoping his customers hadn't ran away and waited quietly like good little people.
On the alley before his workplace, which was a particularly dim one, he heard and saw a young girl, and an older looking man with what looked like a gun. Pointing it at him now, was he? How rude! What was his sort doing around these parts anyway? William shook his head, the movement revealing his doctor's robes underneath his black trench coat, but that was okay, it was dark. The man prided himself in his excellent vision, but he doubted that of the girl and the other man.
"Y'have some polos there girl? Thanks, I want to freshen up my mouth. Martinis aren't best for oral hygiene, I hear." He said, walking up to the stranger and holding his hand out.

EAT A DICK FEATURING @hunter @will He moved a few steps closer, paused. The voice that called back was a woman's voice, and Raul wasn't held in suspense much longer, before she turned the corner. Pretty girl. And not one who looked like she belonged here. Raul liked to think he could tell criminals apart from civilians, even if he didn't seem to treat them very differently.
But before he could say anything, a figure in a trench coat – now that was very criminal – had come up as well. He pointed the gun in his vague direction instead. Then he wondered if he shouldn't underestimate a pretty young lady, and pointed it back at her. He switched between the two of them a few times, wagging the gun back and forth lazily before he decided the best decision was no decision and he put it back with a shrug.
"You shouldn't talk to strangers." He advised the girl, flashing a smile. "But I'm a cop." He added, just so that she knew he was discounted. Then he looked to the man, raising a brow as if to ask what his excuse was.

Just her luck. Hunter could have sworn that her usual optimism was running low today, and she was blaming overtime and the lack of working technology for that. When she turned her corner, the man who had obviously said 'marco' was holding a gun, and for a brief moment it was pointed at her. She would have glared had someone else not approached the scene, someone with an accent that on any other day would have made her smile in the very least - but today it just added to her annoyed frown. Hunter wasn't going to let her temper hold her back from being polite, however.
"Sorry, no - uh - polos here. I think?" Silently, she added a 'not drinking would be a lot better for your oral hygiene'. Really, the only two things holding her back was that it wasn't exactly lady-like to say such a thing and she wasn't sure how open these two were to hitting a girl - so she went with the better option and just kept her mouth shut. Albeit with a forced smile. Though, she took the hand and shook it, making a mental note to keep an eye out from funny business from the both of them.
Especially the casital one in the trench coat. Trench coats were creeper magnets.
Turning to the supposed cop, she refused to let the smile falter. "That doesn't mean you're any less dangerous, officer." Oops there was a bit of a bite in her tone, Hunter cleared her throat as though that was going to fix it. "I'm sorry, uh- I don't think I caught either of your names? I'm Hunter." Somehow she had a feeling she was going to regret every decision she had ever made ever in the span of the next hour or so. | { } i suddenly feel bad for hunter @raul @will |

Poor girl seemed very on edge tonight. Which was a shame, because ladies shouldn't feel so alarmed in his presence. Since when was he the big bad monster?
Maybe she was right to feel that way after all. William grinned, and nodded to himself, shoving his hand deep into his coat pocket. Ew, she touched his hand without giving him a polo! What a bitch. Stupid, uneducated whore.
Actually, he was going to warn the little lady about the shady looking 'cop', but it seemed this one had it all sorted. He itched his head with a lazy smile.
"How'd I know you be a cop? Not a cap, belonging on a coca cola, but a silly phrase for a police officer running around these places. What do you expect to find, eh?" William took a step back from the girl, shrugging with both hands in the air. "Most importantly," He began with expectations set, and broken.
"I don't care. But mama told me to never give names to strangers. Might end up predicting a future I think I want but I don't." At that, he laughed to himself, holding his head.

EAT A DICK FEATURING @hunter @will The girl wasn't a prostitute. Probably not. Not that she wasn't pretty enough to be one, but she wasn't dressed like one. That wasn't deterring, though. He'd just have to talk instead of pay his way. He glanced over at the other man with a deadpan expression, because couldn't he see he was an authority figure who had… important business with this girl?
When he turned to Hunter again, he was smiling. "Inspector." He corrected. "Wanna see my badge?" He wasn't in uniform, because he was an inspector, because he refused to be a literal man-in-blue, because it looked dumb, but he had a badge and that had to mean he was trustworthy.
Not like this little shit, who Raul was quite frankly having a lot of trouble paying attention to, because he was talking in circles and figure eights and other, more abstract shapes, and because there were more important people around, plain and simple.
"Coelho." He held out a hand for Hunter, and narrowed his eyes at the other man, then flashed a smile at the girl. "But you can call me Raul."
"And what's a lovely girl such as yourself doing in such dirty-" pointed glance at a certain someone, "-places?"

"Inspector." She corrected herself, casting a quick glance over at William to be entirely sure that he wasn't doing anything strange either. Somehow, being with a police officer- no inspector, she corrected herself, didn't put her at ease at all. Well maybe a little but she still had no idea what this character of a man was like, and she wasn't particularly fond of finding out either. All she wanted was out. "It would put me at least a little more at ease, yes." So long as it wasn't a euphemism for something else that she didn't want to see, Hunter was fine standing between the two men.
She took a step away from the doctor irregardless, deeming him to be even just a little more dangerous than the Inspector, and by default making Raul the more favorable of the two. "Keep your name to yourself then." She shrugged, turning to shake Raul's hand with a hesitant smile of her own. "Nice to meet you, Raul." She silently cursed her good manners, realizing that she didn't want to shake this man's hand until after it was done. Oh well.
Raising an eyebrow, Hunter gave Raul a suspicious look. "I decided to take a new, hopefully quicker route home." She kept the parts about her being lost and never taking this route ever again to herself, just in case she offended the inspector. "What about you, Raul and Trench coat?" | { } @raul @will |

"FINE!" He shouted, cutting through the barely there buzz of the streets behind them. "I want to play this game! But you never should give me trouble Mister, because I do good work in this town! Hand on heart! My goodness is pure gold!" Holding his metaphorical heart in a bundle of his shirt, he did it all with pride as if all that meant something. William didn't want to get with this girl but he certainly didn't want some puny inspector have his way with her.
"I am William Hurst. It's very nice to meet you Madam, but someone like you shouldn't be roaming this part of the area. Please leave a message after the- I mean! I MEAN!" He cleared his throat. "You're quite clearly lost, aren't you?" The Englishman looked at her with a certain veil of sympathy that looked very offensive.
"I was just on my way to work. But work can wait, my hours aren't yet." Nodding twice, his hand then gestured to the Inspector. "Et tu?"

EAT A DICK FEATURING @hunter @will He didn't have much interest in the other man. As far as Raul could see (and he wasn't particularly looking), he wasn't doing anything illegal, and so he didn't really care. He probably wouldn't have cared even if he had been doing anything illegal. Escorting a young lady to her home was certainly more important, and it certainly fell within his cop duties.
"Pleasure's all mine." He gave a firm handshake, then he reached into his jacket to pull out his identification, flashed it so Hunter could see, before he tucked it back away. Then he sighed, hands in his pockets, as he finally turned to acknowledge the other man. The intrusive bastard of the man.
"This is my work." Raul pointed out flatly, trying to get the man to leave. "Did you want to see my badge too?" he asked, though his tone implied that no, he was not going to show William his badge.
"I was just patrolling." A lie, but what would they know? "But I could certainly take some time to make sure a young woman gets home safely from this part of town."
"You don't live around here, do you?" He said to Hunter, because she didn't have that… er, scrappy, burnt out look of the girls around here.

To be honest, Hunter wasn't even aware that her and Raul were playing a game. Then again, it didn't seem that Will would have cared much besides the fact that Raul ( and herself she felt a little guilty about it ) were basically ignoring him. Maybe he should have participated a little more, but then again she wasn't going to just continue being rude to him either. The beginnings of a smile seemed to cross her features when Will seemed to act in a way that most would find strange. It was actually amusing, in that "I hope he doesn't completely flip his lid" kind of way.
Raul, on the other hand - man of the law or not - was still giving her vibes. She wasn't quite sure why he out of all the people in the alley was creeping her out the most, especially considering Will was the one in the trench coat and acting like he was fifty shades of unstable. "A pleasure to meet you, William." Another nice smile, and then Raul was handing her a badge. It looked real enough, and she didn't hold on to it for too long before giving it back. He said something about his work, and honestly Hunter had a feeling that his job didn't include stopping girls on their way home to. Then again, it guy did seem like one of those cops that should just be in movies.
She barely listened to them go on about work, instead taking a few steps back to look down the other side of the alley. "I'm not lost." Yes she was, but if there was anything that she learned from walking around at night it was that you don't tell people who randomly manifest from the night that you're lost. Unless one of them is a cop. But Raul didn't really feel like a cop. "I just got a little turned around, is all."
"No, I don't live around here. It's more on the outskirts." She figured they could tag along if they wanted to, but that was on them. | { } @raul @will |

Boring.Dys flitted from whatever corner she'd been hiding in, peeling herself from bricks and pavement and the essence of that all good-natured chaos sprung from. "You're not on your marks," she said pointedly. Her tone held all the sweetness of vinegar, and she crossed her arms and narrowed her eyes. So far she was loosing her patience, the blonde being her only entertainment. Well, if you wanted something done right you had to do it yourself. Her kimono drooped over her shoulders, loose as ever, and right now she was in the fashion of denying the season - her hair was unruly and wicked, her eyes a hard-set green. "You're all so funny because a piece of metal makes him trustworthy? None of you are trust worthy. You're all sick." She stuck her tongue out, and then moved closer to the group, arms still crossed. A few blocks away you could hear the sound of a car crash. "But you are funny, and that makes it okay." @raul @hunter @will

There wasn't a lot of things in the world that could dry out William's tongue, but it happened.
But it didn't happen long, that's for sure.
"Wow, shit!" He exclaimed, eyes not quite falling upon the unknown woman in Asian clothes. William scratched his hair with a rapid movement, as if trying to distract his head from something.
"You, woman, have animal ears!" It was then a chuckle spiraled into full on laughter, and it wasn't long until William was clutching his stomach. Yet, he didn't know what he was laughing at, now that his head was cleared of any response for the young girl.
Work could wait. This was going to be an interesting night.

EAT A DICK FEATURING @hunter @will @discordia The nutjob in a trencoat - Raul hadn't really paid his introduction much mind - hadn't even gotten a word in before her. She slunk from the shadows like a cat. More like a fox, now that he'd gotten a good look at her. She looked out of place, she looked unnatural, but she looked damn good. It wasn't a revealing outfit, but that made it intriguing, and his followed the curve of a pale shoulder, down to wonder and wander what else there was.
His attention had tunneled.
What was she, coming home from a costume party? There was an astute observation of her cat ears, though Raul just gave a low wolf whistle, stepped closer. "You lost too?" He asked softly, brushing off the insult. Hell, she could insult him all night long. She could say whatever she liked if she did what he liked. CODED BY ELECTRIC OF GANGNAM STYLE

Suddenly the group was added by one, and Hunter looked at Discordia with narrowed eyes before quickly deciding that she wasn't nearly as bad news as the other two. "It's called symbolism." The badge was given to people who were supposed to be trustworthy, but really it wouldn't surprise Hunter one bit if Raul wasn't nearly as trustworthy as it implied.
She liked to believe it did, though. Especially after the sound of a car crash in the distance, causing her to jump. Car crashes meant danger, and usually injured people. Lady in a kimono and animal ears or not, Hunter had more important things to focus on. "You're a cop, shouldn't you go investigate that car crash?" Instead of hitting on random women in alleys went unsaid, but she hoped her narrowed gaze implied it.
