The small child skipped down the paved walkway with a woven basket bouncing on her arm. A smile was spread wide across her blissful face. She gained a few curious stares as she went along, but she met them with that very smile. Every now and then she approached one of the people and offered them a small sugar cookie, heart shaped and covered in pink frosting. She was turned down over and over again. Instead, they concerned themselves with where her parents were.
Grace merely puffed out her cheeks and turned away from them to disappear once again in the crowd. When did people get so nosy? They just needed to take a cookie. It was simple. But they had to make things so difficult. Oh well, it wasn’t worth getting upset over! Being angry wasn’t like her anyways. Happy! She had to stay positive and be happy. That’s right. Her eyes brightened as she spied a small group gathered in front of a bakery. “Would you like a cookie?” She piped up.
In Grace's basket, there are four large cookies—one for each person to take part in this event. Take a cookie and let the fun begin.

Viktoria had briefly hoped this trip would maybe be a bonding experience between the siblings, but no. Of course not. Dmitri didn't bother her too much anymore, not with Viktoria always reminding him of her little blackmail, but the withdrawn atmosphere wasn't great either. Not worse, but uncomfortable for sure.
"Didn't know you liked anything pink," she mumbled as she saw him stop to take the cute girl's cookie, "Don't want you emasculating yourself with food dye."
Viktoria huffed, neither hungry nor having much patience after the shopping trip, but she did feel bad about not taking an offered treat. Maybe even homemade. She tucked her hair behind her cheek and thanked the girl sweetly. No trace of an accent, of course. Just to piss off Dmitri. The cookie looked pretty good anyways.

He turned to look down at the little one; he'd only been at the bakery to pick up something his mother had forgotten. When she'd shake the habit of family dinners he would never know, but until then he'd run the errands. Besides, he thought, it made father happy to not have to do it. Even if he had to drag Viktoria along with him.
He nodded before taking one from the basket, he hadn't got a thing for himself all day so might as well.

cora wolff ♡ Cora couldn't just walk past the bakery. The aroma wafting from within it just smelled heavenly, and she ended up stopping in front of it to gaze longingly at the bread and pastries displayed in the shop windows. Frowning a little, the pink-haired girl wished she hadn't spent the rest of her allowance already so she could go buy something for herself.
She was contemplating whether or not she should ask her parents for some extra cash when she heard a voice sound close to her. Looking down, Cora saw a little girl offering her a cute little heart-shaped cookie. She smiled and took it gratefully. It looked pretty delicious as well, so at least she could have something sweet.
"Oh, thank you," the girl said cheerfully, biting into the cookie. What a polite little girl, if only more kids her age acted that way.
well, i think i'm gonna BURNINHELL

It was one of those rare days where Dominick didn't feel like punching the world in the face. Looking into the bakery window, it was almost as if he was window shopping - except that he definitely had the money somewhere to pay for that cake in the back corner. Before he knew it, a girl was asking him for a cookie, and he took it.
On any normal day, he would have turned her away, but it apparently wasn't a normal day. Instead, he took a bite of the cookie - mumbling a thank you to the girl - and stuffed his hand back in his pocket to go back to staring at the cakes.

Mingling in the crowd gathered out front of the infamous islands confectionary shop, Lionel watched for any familiar faces. He didn’t really know why he did though. During his time on the island, he hadn’t made very many friends. Dominick was just about all he had for friends.
Ironically, he spotted the man in the crowd and wondered over. “Oh, hey Dom. What do you have there?” He eyed the cookie hungrily.

The contents of the small deity’s basket empty with each cookie taken. She smiles up the people who have finally relieved her of her burden. Grace doesn’t say a word as she skips off into the crowd. Her figure is soon engulfed by mingling bodies, leaving only the cookies as evidence she was ever there.
All that’s left to do is eat the small confections (if they hadn't already). What’s the worst that could happen?

To be honest, he wasn't actually thinking of eating the thing. Dominick wasn't that big of a fan of sweets, but he figured that in a way he owed it to the girl. She probably made them, and it would be rude of him to just throw it away - but then again, since when did he ever really care?
But then Lionel showed up, and Dominick smiled a hello. "Uh- A cookie? Want some?" He broke it in half, handing Lionel one half while taking a bite of the other.
