| it's like i'm | sleepwalking The day had started out normally. Syca got up, drank his coffee, ate his breakfast, and went straight to work. He warmed up and began practicing a few of his other performances as he waited for Haven to join him to practice their routine together. Really, they had it down well enough already, but it was always good to make sure they had it perfect.
When the blue haired man finally did show up, Syca finished up what he was doing and stood up straight, giving him a slight wave as a greeting. He was ready to get this practice done and out of the way. He knew the routine well enough he figured he could probably do it in his sleep.
“You ready to get started?” the man asked.

A pair of tights hugging his slender legs and a simple leotard covering his torso, Haven was ready for practice. The more elaborate costumes were saved so actual performances so he didn’t body to pretty himself up. He merely brushed his hair and pulled it back into its usual side ponytail. Then he was on his way to meet up with Sycamore. “Morning Syca,” he waved. He broke out into his routine stretches before he answered the dark haired acrobat’s question. He couldn’t start practice until he had a decent warm up. When he was done, he finally nodded. “I’m ready now. Let’s get to work.”@sycamore, KRISTOFFER KROWE, @apollo

He'd gotten up earlier than most. It was still dark outside, even. The air was cool against his face when he'd stepped out to test the new day. He had to, rise earlier than normal for that day. Because that day was a day of warning.
Oh yes, it was a fine day for a warning as Kristoffer made his way to the area they would practice. He'd been planning it for a very long time, ever since the performance was planned and thought out and first practiced.
He didn't deserve to hold Haven like that, to touch him like that, to... to kiss--No, he couldn't bare it. It wasn't fair! It just wasn't fair! They way they held each other and looked at each other during practice... The way their chemistry was just so perfect--to perfect--for that performance caused the hairs on Kristoffer's skin to prickle.
He'd planned it perfectly; Kristoffer was smart and not subjectively so. He would fray the threads, just enough to rip naturally, to pull under the predetermined weight calculated and cause the dancer to fall--for Sycamore to fall. Not to his death! Oh, heavens no. That was drastic. That was unnecessary... as it were. No, it would injure him only. Remember, it was only a warning.
Upon its completion, Kristoffer returned to his room and settled down back into a peaceful slumber, relaxed and satisfied that his plan would be perfect. He knew it would be.
The next time he awoke, he stepped into the practice room to wish the two good luck. It wasn't odd. Kistoffer always came to wish his friend good luck and he always came to watch the practices when Haven was involved. He was, of course, practically attached to him by the hip.

| it's like i'm | sleepwalking Syca did a couple more stretches as he waited for Haven to finish, though they weren't really that necessary. He had warmed up plenty while he waited for the blue haired man to come, though it never hurt to do a couple more. He finished along with the other man, and nodded in response to him.
Kristoffer had come over by this time to wish the both of them good luck. While it wasn't really surprising to see him -- he was pratically attached by the hip to Haven -- he was a little surprised to get a good luck from him as well. Syca didn't really talk to him all that much, despite how often he was around Haven.
The two of them made their way over to the ribbons, and Syca easily lifted himself up off the ground. He had gotten quite good at this by now, so every movement was like second nature to him.

He didn't really care all that much about the routine, he just wanted somewhere quiet where he could drink his coffee without being dragged away for something. Glancing around the room, the redhead noticed Kris was lurking about, not that Apollo cared. Him and Haven were practically attached at the hip so it would be kind of weird for the performer not to be following his friend around like a lost puppy. It was just going to be quiet in here anyway, he could just mess about on one of the free crappy games he'd downloaded for his phone the other day. MARI @ GS!

His routine on the ribbons was slightly different than he was used to when he was merely gymnastics student a year ago. But he adjusted and got the hang of them fairly quickly. The things the silks allowed him to do was exhilarating and he loved the feeling of freedom they gave him. Sometimes, he felt like he was floating. Haven always looked forward to practices as much as he did for performances. "Thanks Kris."Sycamore wasn’t a bad partner either. He and Haven looked nice together on stage. “Ready Syca?” He called out as he lifted up from the ground by twisting the ribbons. Not waiting for a reply, he began he routine. The trust he had for his partner had built up a lot over the past year. So he was sure he’d fall into the rhythm. @sycamore, KRISTOFFER KROWE, @apollo

Kristoffer smilled, though once Haven wasn't looking at him anymore it disappeared. He wasn't looking forward to the chemistry he knew was going to envelope Haven and Sycamore.
But no, he ran a hand through his long, white hair and calmed himself. It wasn't going to last very long anyway. Hopefully Syca would fall before they managed to get to the end of the performance. If everything went according to plan, it was guaranteed.

| it's like i'm | sleepwalking Syca didn't reply when Haven asked if he was ready; he didn't need to. The blue haired man was already rising off the ground, and Syca quickly followed with ease. It wasn't long before he forgot about his surroundings, focusing only on his partner and the silk he was twisting around himself. Syca loved the feeling of performing more than anything else in the world. It was one of the things he was good at, and was a nice distraction from everything else.
Their routine started out perfectly. The two twisted themselves around on the silks expertly, quickly rising higher and higher, moving around fluidly through the air, almost as if it was a midair dance. They came together, wrapping themselves around each other, then moved apart. The two of them had practiced this routine so many times by now, it was going off without a hitch.
That is, until Syca heard the silk starting to tear above him.

Engrossed in his game, Apollo probably wouldn't have even noticed it if it wasn't from the slight sounds coming from the ropes. He never trusted those things, it just wasn't natural that something that flimsy could support people. Raising an eyebrow at the sound, the redhead diverted his gaze upwards before quickly standing up from his seat, noticing the unusual hanging of the ropes from the ceiling. After all, whilst he was no expert on these things he could tell when something was wrong. "Guys get down, those ropes don't look safe!" he shouted, glancing around the room. Shit, what was he supposed to do if they fell? // idk the order anymore so im just gonna post whilst i have time <3 MARI @ GS!

They had practice their routine so much that he no longer thought about it. His body moved fluidly in time with Sycamore's, twisting around with the silks, moving close to tangle himself with him. This practice was different. Something cold and leadened grew in the pit of his stomach. The sound of tearing made him realize what it was--dread. He reached out to Sycamore, breaking routine. Small, dainty hands clasped around the darker man's thick arm. The fabric suspending his companion gave way about then. His own silks which he tangled around his legs dug into his skin. He lost grip eventually, plummeting to the ground with Sycamore. @sycamore, KRISTOFFER KROWE, @apollo

He watched as they went higher and higher and the ripping sounds of the ribbons grew louder and louder. His eyes widened with anticipation as he waited for Sycamore to fall--but wait... Haven? What was he doing? Was he crazy? He couldn't hold up Sycamore on his own!
Kris took a step forward and his face paled, his mouth hung open and went dry. And then they slipped.
"HAVEN NO!" Kristoffer screamed to the point that it echoed through the room and he ran over. The sound of their bodies hitting the floor rang through his ears as he panicked, flinging himself to his knees as he looked them over, afraid to touch them. His body shook all over with fear. "Haven, no! Haven!! Someone help!"

He could feel his heart beating in his mouth, a disgusting uncomfortable feeling which came from having to stand and watch something which he couldn't stop. Everything seemed to flow in slow motion, with the sound track being Kristoffer's screams followed by the slam of them hitting the ground. Then it seemed like his body operated itself; launching him over chairs, tripping over the last, clambering off the floor and over to the mass collection of people. "Call a fucking ambulance instead of screaming dipshit," the redhead muttered, throwing his phone at Kris. It was important that someone was calm, that the emergency services got here as soon as possible ... he knew that from experience. "If either of you two wanna respond so I know you're alive, I'd appreciate it," he added, trying to scrape the barrel of his knowledge on first aid. Well, back injuries meant that they shouldn't be moved and they'd fallen a long way. So check for a pulse? He didn't know, he didn't know!! MARI @ GS!
