He didn't know much about politicians and their etiquette; but if this was any other girl, he'd have more than a hand on her hip, leading her gently from the bar. His hair fell over his shoulder as he leaned in towards her with a smile, intimately, as if there wasn't anyone watching.
He couldn't remember the last time he'd been so charming, the last time he'd ever had to make any concerted effort for a woman. Not that this wasn't moving naturally, their path weaving through refreshment tables and small clusters of people, further away, closer to the depraved fantasies only a rock star could think of.
"So, can I ask - why politics?" He took a sip of his drink, still steady in his stride while he led them further off. "You know, I hear you politicians are bad news." Salem added, a playful edge to his tone as his hand slid down her side.

The more I see the less I know, The more I'd like to let it go Weaving through the crowd, the blonde kept a firm hand on her drink as her charming new friend lead her along.
Why politics? "Change ,,, money too," she admitted with a smile. Being someone that could change things for the better was what the small slither of nobility inside of her wanted, every other fiber in her body knew it was the money. Money had always been a driving point, people were lying if they said it wasn't a motivator. "Why music?" Surely it was risky, you had to make it big or there was no money.
"Oh we are. Rotten to the core, though, you musicians have a reputation for being ... wild, don't you?" she replied, brushing her fingers against his hand.
