This Primo seemed to be...odd, himself. He called her strange right to her face, and then reassured her that it was a compliment. Well, Lucie would have to mark that down on her bucket list — being called strange in a weird way. Honestly, while she was still a little put off by the abruptness of it, if he meant it in a good way, it couldn't be all bad right?
"Oh, well...thank you," she said, tucking a few coral strands of hair behind her ear, a small and shy smile gracing her pink lips. He thought she was fascinating? Now that was weird beyond all bounds. Lucie was about as average and normal as they came, at least in her mind, so to hear him say that was a little shocking and actually quite flattering.
Smoothing down her clothes a little, almost subconsciously, she looked around at the hall. Their original trip had been since forgotten, and she remembered that he had asked (well, more like told) her to spend some time with him this evening. She'd been slightly weirded out by it at first, but now she didn't seem to mind as much.
"Anyway, you said that I was going to be your company tonight?" she said, feeling her cheeks heat up a little. "What did you have in mind?"
School would be closing soon and she didn't want to be in the building too much longer, lest they got trapped in the building or something. While Primo seemed nice enough, she barely knew him and didn't want to be locked in a building with him.
