Trevor didn't buy it. The smile looked a bit on the forced side, but it's something. It's a start. It's the most he'll get, and he'll take it. For now. That doesn't stop him though, not from him leaning in to place a quick kiss on her cheek. She may feed off of negativity towards herself, but he wasn't going to allow her that - not when he had tried as long as he had to build her up. Unsuccessfully, of course, but it was his attempts. It counted for something. He knew it probably sounded cliche, and wrong, and unbelievable, and naive, but he really really liked Heidi. Now that it was all out in the open, he didn't even have to pretend that he didn't. With pursed lips, he had cast a glance over to the DVD rack. "It looks like superhero stuff, a few disney movies that I can't bring myself to throw away. Some action-y things. You can go over there and pick one out, you know."@nan06

Heidi doesn't know how to react when he kisses her on the cheek.
It makes her feel like the million caterpillars in her stomach have grown into butterflies and are starting to flutter around in her stomach, and the feeling makes her want to throw up. It's a gross, unknown feeling and she hates the way it feels, but she doesn't know what to do to make it stop, so she simply sits and deals with it.
"You pick, I don't want too." She states.

Being able to kiss her on the cheek, to tell her about all the things he'd only dreamed of telling her for as long as he could remember - it feels surreal. It has since the night he flatly came out to her, the night that she stayed and didn't run away from.
That had to mean something, right?

Heidi shrugs, "Which Iron Man?"
She's impartial to the Iron Man series in general. She doesn't have a favourite, they're all just movies about a man in an iron suit in general. She prefers Batman over him, but she won't say anything. She did - after all - tell Trevor to pick the movie.

Sometimes he wishes she'd voice her opinion, because at least then he'd know what was on her mind. It was an enigma, and he usually liked silence among most people but Heidi was not most people.

Heidi deadpans at Trevor.
"You pick, I don't care." She says.
Heidi hates how Trevor seems to read her mind sometimes, or she says she does. Reality is that she enjoys the fact she doesn't need to say things aloud to get him to understand.
It's one of the many good qualities about Trevor that Heidi enjoys.

She says she doesn't care, but Trevor isn't sure that he's bought it. He never has, of course he wouldn't. Heidi with her habit of being a people pleaser.
He didn't say he liked her habit, after all.
"Then I've picked. The first batman, can't get more original than that."
It's a day for Heidi, after all. A day for her to relax, to forget about what happens outside of the door barring them from the rest of the world. A day to just be herself.
A day for him to remind her that she isn't as disgusting as she thinks she is.
It didn't take long before he started up the moving, plopping back down next to her with a wide grin. coded by electric of gangnam style
