As soon as he mentioned the ears, they flipped back. "You know, I favored you until that comment." She nearly hissed. Stupid, they were all kind of stupid. But that didn't mean they weren't fun to play with. She laughed. "Sweetheart, don't worry. There's nothing salvageable about that." She said it with a disjointed feeling, like people were merely shipwrecks. All their bones were busted, likely. It was no concern of Discordia's - she didn't favor life nor death. Just a bit of goodnatured fun. Dys hadn't been looking at the girl when she spoke, but now her eyes flickered over to the girl. So that's where this man's brains were, huh? She laughed and it sounded like bells. Tilting her head one way, ears making the action look like an intrigued hunting dog, Dys was working her own magic. In a fluid movement by unseen hands, Raul was led to cuff himself. Sure, his hands were in front so it wasn't a criminal-set up, but it was a little bit of fun for Discordia. She wanted to freak them all out before she delivered something heavy. "Now he won't be hitting anyone!" She laughed again, then put a finger to her cheek and brandished a broad smile. "Oops, did I take that thought literally?" @raul @hunter @will

It was said often, that William had no sense for sincerity, and it probably was true? Rumours were sometimes based on substantial, but not definate evidence, after all.
"I might apologise," He began, tilting his head to one side to get a better look at this woman. "But no, it seems you've got it all sorted out!"
"But if your highness excuse me," William began, suddenly swinging an arm around Hunter. "My assistant and I have to get back to work. Lots of bloody men to attend to, and all!"
Suddenly William felt uneasy. This woman - she very much reminded him of the man who appeared at his clinic that one time. Sure, she didn't wear a fur coat, but that might just've been a man thing.

He'd heard the crash, more as a detached observation than anything. "Paramedics'll get it." He said offhandedly. Really, Hunter seemed awfully plain compared to the newcomer, his attention had since shifted.
Work was the last thing on his mind. She seemed to want to play too, laughing delightedly. But it wasn't quite the same game Raul was thinking of. His hands seemed to move of their own violation, pulling out the handcuffs he carried and snapping them onto his own wrists. He didn't even notice until he felt the metal digging into his wrists.
His brow furrowed, and he tugged at the cuffs, tried to pull them apart, slide his hands out. It was an experimental struggle. Something unusual and impossible had just happened, but he took it in stride.
He stepped closer to her. "Aw, come on," The disappointment and uneasiness in his tone seemed to be mocking.
He glanced over his shoulder at Hunter and the man slinging an arm around her. He didn't care where they went. But at the same time, he didn't really want to be left alone with her.

Hunter rolled her eyes at Raul, but found that her feet weren't moving anyway. She was planted to the spot, watching this new girl curiously, and to be honest she wasn't sure if she liked what she saw. There was something off about this girl, and Hunter decided that the person she liked most in the place was Will.
Though that didn't stop her from brushing off the arm. "I'm sorry, but I'm not your assistant." She mumbled, looking down at her feet for a moment before frowning and looking back up. As much as she disliked Raul, she wasn't going to leave him alone with this strange woman, as much as he brushed everyone else off like they were dirt. Then he was handcuffed, and Hunter didn't bother to stifle the laugh. "A bit literally. It's cute, though." She decided she liked this girl.
"So, uh. Who are you?" Although it felt a bit rude, Hunter couldn't help herself from asking.

Dys wrinkled her nose at all of them. First the blonde, that William, he smelled like Creation and he was far too uneasy to be calling her highness. He should be kissing her feet and calling her the Holy Mother or something. She was out of the Illiad, not Avalon. "Gross," she said, pointing a claw-like index finger at him. Then the second, the brunette with a deviously sheepish grin. As if she'd ever allow him to continue thinking about her the way he was. "Grooooss," she said with obvious emphasis, pointing and going so far as to stick her tongue out in a grimace. The last one wasn't so bad. Discordia merely tilted her head before walking forward. "You're only slightly distasteful," she said with a smile. When she got close to Hunter, Dys put her hands on her hips and smiled wider. If you looked closely or blinked too fast, her teeth seemed sharp - maybe it was a trick of the light. "I'll only tell you if you tell me your wildest dream." @raul @hunter @will

It seemed like Discordia was deciding who was the most distasteful of them all. To be honest, Hunter wasn't sure who she disliked more - Raul with his perverse thoughts or William for some reason. Hunter found that she quite liked Will, he was certainly was a character. Someone that kept her on her toes for sure.
Apparently she was only 'slightly distasteful', and Hunter wasn't sure whether that was a compliment or an insult. But as she continued talking, Hunter had a feeling that she liked this lady, too, because she seemed a lot better than Raul.
Biting her lip, Hunter had to think about it. Her wildest dream? "I just want to be a world famous chef." But she shrugged. "It's not very wild, though."

He took a step back.
Fucking mortals and their fucking inability to realise everything was fucking wrong. His conscience, however lost it seemed, couldn't make him leave. Not that William thought with that freak show of a fox lady he was gonna let him get to his patients tonight. People are gonna die tonight, like every night.
So he sat right at the spot where he stepped back once, and stared coldly at the eerie woman.
"A sip of the devil's cup proves fatal." He spoke more for the girl.
"May I be excused? I have patients to see. By the time you're done, they're probably joining you." He got up at that point, though. Although he wasn't sure why. He could just stay where he was, but his patients shouldn't make the trip to Hell alone.

Raul just cocked his head, looking slightly disappointed but not entirely discouraged. There was very little that could discourage him, especially from such an interesting lady. He gave an audible sigh when she approached the girl instead - of course, girls always stuck together. "Wanna hear about my wildest dreams?"
Though, he was admittedly curious about who the cat-eared woman was, William had spoken up before she could offer any answer. Raul rolled his eyes, barely listening, more interested in the woman with sharp teeth and sharp claws.
"Excused." He called out to the other man, though he probably hadn't been talking to him in the first place.

It was all gradually getting worse and she was gradually losing her patience. No surprises there - it seemed like every time she showed up to cause trouble she was just blatantly disrespected. This girl, Hunter, chose a great day to show some decency. Dys smiled again and marched closer to the aspiring chef. She leaned down to kiss the girl on the temple. Where her lips touched the skin darkened and reddened like a bruise. It would swell slightly, and feel sore to the touch. "That's my calling card," she says happily, like she's accomplished something great. Discordia isn't sure who she's trying to impress, but marking the girl feels like a triumph. "Holler if you need me." She turns to stick her tongue out at the men and quickly walks away, subtly shimmering and wavering like a mirage before she disappears entirely. Hunter has been marked by Discordia. The mark will cause her slight discomfort and headaches, but it grants her the ability to call Discordia into any thread. It's temporary; however, only a deity can decide when it's run it's course.

Something kept him at a distance, though his gaze glinted with interest as Discordia leaned in to Hunter. His brows rose, and he leaned in, though a veil of white hair obscured his view. It was quick, anyways. Before he manages a half step forward and mouth open to say something, she's disappeared.
Raul squinted at the empty space. He stepped into it, and realizing his hands were still cuffed. "Hey. Wait."

He didn't want to watch this anymore.
William dusted off the imaginary dirt from his overcoat, eyes lingering on the scene before him; that kiss brewed up a whole new kind of disgust within him. It was no act of love, that's for sure.
Without another word, he then turned and walked away, shuffling quicker than usual, wanting to forget such a tiresome beginning to his evening shift.
