Hadas was in fact, taken off guard by the kiss. Though he supposed he really shouldn't have. It just seemed odd that one minute he pulled away from him, and the next they were back. Ugh, alcohol. He was pleased though, kinda, despite feeling like a babysitter, he was liking the attention. He closed his eyes. When he did break it, he tugged on Rocky's bottom lip lightly.
"You alright?" He asked one more time, and scooted a bit closer, so their thighs touched. By now, the ending song to Law and Order had began. Something told him that going much further with his drunken as hell boyfriend, wasn't the greatest idea. ROCKY VANCE

He paused a moment as he considered the question, his eyes half-lidded as he looked down at Hadas. Rocky smiled, though it was weak-willed and he eventually shook his head from side to side, his fingers dragging though Hadas' hair. He figured he should at least mention it or perhaps the words just sort-of came out against his will?
"Almost got fired t'day," he said quietly. Suddenly his mouth felt dry and he glanced off to the side, dropping his hand down to his lap. He frowned at the floor, tensing up the muscles in his jaw as he waited for a response.

He knew something happened. He sighed. He wrapped his arm around Rocky's shoulder. "What happened?" He wasn't angry, just concerned. "I'm sorry Rocky." He kissed his cheek reassuringly.

He turned his attention to Hadas again and swallowed thickly once more, trying to sooth the sudden cottonmouth from his nerves. He was scared to say anything, show a side of himself to Hadas he'd never shown before. But even in his drunken state he knew it was something that had to be done. He just didn't want to lose him over stupid behavior.
"Yelled at a customer--That asshole tried t'get a discount. Like hell we can afford to jus' discount anyone who comes in there with a hoity-toity attitude an' demands one. So I cussed 'em out. Told 'em to find a different garage if they weren't happy with our services. Then the manager came out an' cussed my ass out after the customer left an' I threw a wrench across the room into a stack of rims... Knocked 'em over... Dented a few." He was scared even as he sat there and explained his situation. What was Hadas going to think of him? A brute? A violent man who he needed to avoid? He looked so petrified after revealing his secret that he clung to his lover's thigh.
"Please don't hate me... Please... I'm sorry. I didn't mean to get upset like that--it was an accident," he blurred out, panic coating his voice.

"I-I don't hate you." Though he did play Rocky's description, and honestly, the vision that he had was scary. Maybe it was only because it was a wrench. Rocky wasn't dangerous, was he? No he couldn't be. Hadas had thrown things before in a fit of frustration, and sometimes it was whatever was in his hands, and sometimes that wasn't exactly a feather stuffed pillow.
Still, it was a scary scene that played out. "You just uh, lost your temper in the heat of the moment yeah?" ROCKY VANCE

He could see the fear on Hadas' face and just that alone was sobering, but no. He was still drunk and he moved his palms to his face and buried it within them. It'd been a while since Rocky had gotten that violent so he was proud of himself for that small reason. However, it wasn't enough. It was true; he had a temper. A bad one. Rocky was by no means a saint. He'd never hurt Hadas. Ever. But all his drunken mind could think up was Hadas walking out that door and never coming back.
His mind took the situation and made it feel 100x worse, but in the grand scheme of things, that outcome was possible, Hadas leaving because of some fear that he wasn't safe around Rocky after all. Before he knew it, tears were streaming down his hands and dripping onto his jeans, a sob or two escaping into the air. He shook his head again, though didn't look up, teeth gritted in attempt to keep himself steady, but it failed.
"Please don't leave," he slurred, even more so now that he was sobbing. God, he really wished he wasn't drunk anymore so he could straighten up and be a man. Instead he felt like a delinquent teenager.

Hadas was about to get up to excuse himself to the bathroom so he could just think. He didn't know what he should say or do, but that's when Rocky started crying. He pulled him closer, and sighed. "Stop crying, Rocky. I-I won't leave." He ruffled his hair.
He placed a hand on Rocky's cheek. "Please don't cry." He somehow couldn't bring himself to get up, "I-I promise I won't be going anywhere."
"You just lost your temper, n-no big deal." He faked a laugh, trying to ease the tension. He felt as though he could cut it with a knife. ROCKY VANCE

As much as Rocky heard his lover say it was okay, he didn't believe him all that much. He kept stuttering and his reassurements felt forced. Or perhaps it was his currently unstable mind that tricked him into believing that? Quickly, he rubbed the palms of his hands to his eyes and wiped away the tears, leaving behind swollen and red eyes. He nodded and took a deep breath, letting it out slowly again. "M'sorry fer today... an' fer gettin' so drunk an' makin' you worry." He leaned forward and pecked Hadas' forehead softly, trying to appear manly and stable again.
With a clearing of his throat, he looped a few strands of hair behind his ear and nodded, acknowledging what Hadas said. Then, trying to be s sincere as he could, he looked to Hadas again and bit his own lower lip, his eyebrows arched. "I wouldn't ever hurt you, okay? You know that?"
And it was true. Who could ever hurt such a wonderful person as Hadas? He put up with Rocky's shit and didn't judge him for it. He would be a fool to lose someone as wonderful as Hadas.

"Apology accepted." He said, even though, the scene that he came up with was playing in his mind like bad reruns. He gave Rocky a sheepish smile when he kissed his forehead. Hadas wasn't going to leave him over something that he never saw Rocky do, he didn't really even know if it was a bad as his mind was making it out to be. "Talk to me next time." He just hoped there wasn't going to be a next time.
Hadas nodded, he knew, that Rocky knowingly or purposely wasn't going to hurt him. He trusted him not to, even though that scene kept playing in his mind. "Yeah, I-I know you'd never harm me purposefully."
Desperate to change the subject, he asked Rocky a simple question."Do you want me to make something to eat?" ROCKY VANCE

After all that, Rocky really wasn't very hungry, but he knew he should probably eat something if he wanted to sober up faster, so he nodded in reply. "I'll wash m'face." He brushed his hand along the side of Hadas' face, then got up and walked into the bathroom again to wash himself up.
The water was a little hotter than lukewarm and it felt nice against his skin. He let out a sigh and looked at himself in the mirror. He really hated himself right then. Hell, he hated himself most times though he covered it up with a carefree attitude. It had gotten better with the arrival of Hadas, but he'd gone and ruined his attitude towards himself with this bullshit he pulled.
When he was finished, Hadas was in the kitchen making them something, so he walked up behind him and wrapped his arms around his waist, resting his chin on the other's shoulder. "What're you makin'?" He asked softly, trying not to speak too loudly considering his mouth was right there at his ear.

Hadas let out a sigh when Rocky got up. It gave him a chance to think as he walked into the kitchen. Hadas pulled out a two pots. He filled one up with water and left it to boil. He washed his hands, pulled out a few spices, and tried his best not to make a mess of Rocky's kitchen as he did so.
It replayed again, and he just wanted that image to stop. He broke some angel hair pasta into the pot, and just begged his mind to stop. Eventually, it stopped as he sat and watched pasta cooked. Instead, he thought of ridiculous songs that he's heard over his life. Mainly bad rap, actually, all of it was bad rap. He remembered a time where his brother thought he was cool and listened to really bad rap, great time, really.
It was all just an excuse, because beneath those memories he was still thinking of what he was so desperately trying to not think about.
He did however smile when he felt a pair of hands wrap around his waist, just as he had finally opened the stupid fucking jar of sauce. Who the hell made these things sealed vacuum tight? Were they supposed to outlast the century? He dumped the sauce in the other pot, stuck it on the stove, and turned it on. "Spaghetti, I'm just hoping that it won't suck." The sauce he used was decent, it shouldn't. "Should be done in like, thirteen minutes?"
Hadas wasn't exactly hungry either, he was just making it for the sake of it all. "I'm not scared, you know." He said offhandedly, though he had been thinking about it for a majority of the time that he was standing over the stove. "So don't worry." ROCKY VANCE

Rocky's smile faded and he glanced down at the pots, his arms tightening just a little more around Hadas' waist. I shouldn't have said anything," he commented softly, his fingers playing with the edges of the man's shirt. "I just... thought it was in your best interest to know what was up with my strange attitude. I haven't gotten like this in a very long time and I wish that my record could've stayed clean, but... It just happened.
"I left shortly after that so I wouldn't damage anything else. I've got to be on best behavior for a while to make up for it... and the cost is coming out of my next paycheck."
It was humiliating to even admit what he had done, let alone actually doing it in the first place. "I'm glad you're not scared... I can't imagine what I'd do if you were. I would feel awful." And to further express how sorry he was, "Do you need help with anything?"
Though really, it probably would've been in Hadas' best interest to turn the help down. Rocky didn't need to burn himself by accident, too.

He shook his head, just a little. "No, I'm glad you told me." He was glad that Rocky felt that he could be so open about it with him, he hated seeing him down. "Things happen, the important thing is that your wrench didn't hit anyone and you're home rather than a police station." That sounded reassuring... right? Hopefully? "I can help you out if you need, my pay is a bit irregular though. Though, I don't know, I could ask the theater owner if I could have a minor role." He didn't want this to torment Rocky. There was no way that Hadas could do anything major, his acting skill wasn't great, and he doubted anyone wanted to hear him sing. The owner though, she liked him enough.
He placed one hand over Rocky's, and used the other to grab a spoon that he had taken out and stir things. He added some spices to the sauce and just watched it. "No need to feel awful."
"No, I don't need any help. You can hang on me though, that I don't mind." He saw certain scenarios of Rocky burning his hand over an open flame, spilling hot water on himself, and somehow the fridge would fall down and squash them both. The last one, Hadas had to admit to himself, was a bit extreme, the rest though were completely plausible. The hanging though, he liked. "Just stay away from anything hot." ROCKY VANCE

"No, please don't worry. I can afford to pay for the damages... Thank you, though," he reassured and pressed a soft kiss to the dancer's cheek. He was so good to him, Hadas was, keeping Rocky's best interest in mind. That made him smile. He really did find Hadas to be a total sweetheart.
He watched as Hadas cooked, keeping his hands to himself and doing as he was told in terms of staying away from the hot things. "Thank you for cooking. I really appreciate it." He pressed another kiss to his lover, though this time on his neck, mouthing softly against it as he stood there.
That was another thing Rocky really loved about Hadas; he didn't mind his clinging nature. It had been his downfall plenty of times in the past with previous relationships. "You don't mind it that I'm hanging all over you?" He asked with a smile, knowing very well what the answer to that question was; he'd just been told.

"Well if you do need help with it, don't hesitate to ask." He didn't want Rocky to swim in some kind of debt, barely able to stay afloat. He smiled when Rocky kissed his cheek, and he was tempted to kiss him back, touch him, and just forget about the food. The only thing that was stopping him was the fact that there was fire in front of him, and he was using it.
"No problem." He didn't mind cooking, as long as it was something he wanted to do. He was in the mood to do it. Normally, on his own, he'd order takeout, but here with Rocky, he put his relatively rusty skills to the test. He just wanted to please, plus eating pizza and chinese food wasn't exactly good for the body and for some reason, Hadas did care about Rocky's health. It could be love, and it probably was. "You're really sweet, even piss drunk." The noodles were done, the sauce was hot, and in all actuality this was the first time he ever heated sauce in a pot. Normally, he'd just throw the sauce in the hot noodles, but this way tasted better. "It's nothing special." It didn't take much effort. "Gotta go to the sink." He looked at Rocky, so he'd know to move his feet when Hadas did.
He drained them holding back the noodles with the giant mixing spoon he was using earlier. Hopefully he'd gotten all, if not, most of the water down the drain. "No, I like it." He did like the attention Rocky gave him and he wasn't afraid to say he didn't. Hadas was the type of guy who craved just being loved, and shown it. He turned off both burners, and poured the sauce in the pot with the angel hair. "I really like it actually. I kinda wish I could go around with you - like this - all day."
