Standing in the middle of the hall with his brow furrowing in what might be deep thought, Primo scratched his golden mane. He surveyed the surrounding corridor without a single sign to tell him where he managed to wonder off to. It all looked the same aside from the smaller desks he spied through a few opened classrooms. That should have been indication enough to give him some idea where he was. But he was too frustrated to think about it.
To think, Primo had gotten lost so easily in a school. If it weren’t for its mazelike construction, he was sure he would have navigated it with ease. Why ever did his darling children wish so badly to attend such a place? He took a step backwards, intending to turn around, however, his back met with something fleshy and an indignant protest sounded. Primo turned to the woman in question and frowned. “Please don’t get in my way,” he mumbled, walking past her. | @lucie |

| | | Fallin' all over myself To lick your heart and taste your health | Today had started off well enough, anyways. Lucie had gotten to work a little bit early and had time to complete a few random tasks around her classroom before the children arrived. It was an eventful day of projects and learning and a few of her students had done particularly well. That always put the young teacher in a stellar mood. After school, she hung around for a little while to do a few things. Usually she didn't have to stay late after school but time slipped away from her and soon she found herself there quite a bit later than usual. Sighing, the pinkette finally gathered her things after finishing up and stuffed them in her bag before leaving and locking the classroom... Just as she managed to bump into someone walking down the halls. She let out a little noise, mostly of surprise, and looked back at the long-haired blonde that was currently walking away from her after uttering something. "Please don't get in my way."Normally someone might be upset at this but it didn't deter Lucie too much. "I-I'm sorry!" she called out, apologizing (though it was really no one's fault). "Um, do you need any help finding something?" she offered, even though the man didn't seem overly friendly or keen to talk...still, she'd feel bad if she didn't offer. PRIMO COHN |

The squeaky cry of surprise went ignored as Primo continued along the hall, his harsh comment more than enough of a response. But she caught his attention with an apology and a question. He quirked an eyebrow, intrigued. He bumped into her but she was sorry? That was a first. He almost laughed at the whole thing. Actually, he did. The peal of laughter rolled off his tongue and into the empty hallway. He kept on laughing until it wasn’t funny anymore.
“I am looking for my children’s classrooms. Their teacher asked me here to discuss their behavior. But it seems your school here is a maze of some sort. I’ve lost my way.” Primo glanced down at the Gucci wrist watch hugging his wrists. “It seems I am an hour late to this meeting. I guess there’s no reason to go now.” He chuckled lightly. “Who are you?” Slowly, the blonde man stepped closer to the pink haired teacher. She looked afraid. It was cute. | @lucie |

| | | Fallin' all over myself To lick your heart and taste your health | For some reason, the man started to laugh. She hadn't really expected him to stop or anything, but he did...and he was laughing. Something had apparently struck his funny bone and thought it was a little bit strange (or...rather, very strange) she managed to laugh a little bit with him, even if her laughter was a slight chuckle compared to his outright bark of laughter. Then he explained why he was here. Lucie was, admittedly, a little surprised. He had children? He didn't look that age, but maybe he was just very rigorous with his skincare regime, or something. It was admirable, really. When he mentioned that the hallways were like a maze, the pinkette nodded in assent. They truly were, especially if one didn't know the layout that well. Her first week she got lost every day trying to find the teacher's lounge. Then his last statement caught her off guard. She hadn't been asked who she was so bluntly like that, and she couldn't help but look a bit worried. His voice sounded so demanding. "Oh! Um, my name is Lucie...Lucie Bahr, that is. I'm a fifth grade teacher here," she explained, trying her best to keep her voice level. PRIMO COHN |

There was a tiny, nervous chortle that slipped past the woman’s lips. She almost looked uncomfortable after his fit of laughter. Primo made a lot of people uncomfortable, though it didn’t bother him much. Half the time, he didn’t even notice. But he was staring at the girl in front of her. He liked the way her face was looked with its dainty nose and full lips. She was pretty and timid. “Lucie. I’m Primo.” That was introduction enough for the man.
“You will keep me company for the evening.” He ordered. She had no say. The only answer he would take was a yes. He rarely left any room for refusals. “Show me the rest of this school.” He didn’t want to get lost the next time a teacher bothered him to come to the school for a meeting. Really, there was no need. His darling children were perfect angels, and Jamie really didn’t do much besides stare off into space and mumble incoherently. | @lucie |

| | | Fallin' all over myself To lick your heart and taste your health | When the man offered his name she nodded a little bit, committing it to memory. Sometimes she was a little forgetful but Lucie always tried her hardest to remember names...though that wasn't always possible with the fact that she had to memorize a lot of names every year. Still, Primo was going to stick in her brain somehow. And then he demanded that she would be his "company" for the evening, whatever that meant. Lucie looked a little shocked, but it didn't seem like the blonde was really giving her a choice in the matter. Usually she'd try to be a little headstrong but...she really didn't have much to do tonight and for some reason she knew it might be better not to argue with him. His second demand wasn't as shocking as the first, however, and she was happy to oblige, especially if she was able to help someone out. "Oh, sure!" she said with a nod, her bright pink hair swinging a little with the swift movement. "Maybe we should start with your childrens' classroom, who is their teacher...?" Maybe she could get to know the man a little better during their tour, and then Lucie might not feel so anxious about what might happen this evening. PRIMO COHN |

THalf the time, Primo didn’t bother with names. Recognizing a person’s face was more than enough for a man like him. And he would be sure to remember her face that was for sure. Primo, on the other hand, was a name most remembered whether they wanted to or not. It wasn’t because he was particularly remarkable, more how dangerous he was. People knew his name so they knew to stay as far away from him as possible and to avoid him at all costs.
Lucie was walking into the wrong man’s life. But how could she refuse such an assertive man? He really made it hard. “Her name,” he began. “It was…What was it?” Primo tapped his chin thoughtfully as he considered it. “I have no idea. I didn’t care to memorize her name.” That would probably be a problem. Maybe he should have brought the letter with him instead of tossing it in the fireplace. He wasn’t quite sure if he had even come on the right day.

| | | Fallin' all over myself To lick your heart and taste your health | It was a little — no, it was highly strange that this man didn't know the name of his children's teacher, but she wasn't about to tell him that. So instead she just nodded a little bit, trying to seem as nonchalant as he did. "Oh, ninth grade, of course!" she said with a small smile and turning on her heel she began to lead him down the hall, walking slow enough for him to catch up. She wasn't sure if he was going to chat with her or if he even wanted to talk to her in the first place, but walking too far ahead of him would be rude. Still, Lucie's mind was working away...mostly about Primo's age. How old was he? His children were fifteen and he didn't look that old himself. She'd been wondering about this when she had met him just a few minutes ago, but now that she knew how old his children actually were, she was so curious. "So..." she said quietly, trying to think of something to talk about. "What do you do for a living, Mister, er...Primo?" She was so used to calling students' parents by their last names, but Primo hadn't provided one. PRIMO COHN |

The blonde Mafioso loved his children very much so he probably should have taken more interest in the things they did outside of the house. He didn’t. It was probably the reason he didn’t even know any of his children’s teachers or their names. Primo hadn’t even bothered to go to the school’s open house when he enrolled them. Maybe it was strange, but he didn’t really care enough to dwell on it. “Yes. They have grown up so fast.” He mumbled wistfully.
Anyone else would have probably bounced to the thought of getting old. Primo, a mere thirty years old, wasn’t too concerned about it. He had his children young. Nessa and Vanni’s mother was an older woman he never really loved. They shared only one night together and nothing else. As far as he was concerned, they didn’t even share the children. “Just Primo.” He replied, letting himself be drawn into conversation rather than thinking about his kids’ mother. “I own a club.” | @lucie |

The conversation was light, yet it seemed...strange. Lucie couldn't put her finger on it. Maybe it was just a residual effect of being with Primo, since he was so different than anyone else she'd met before. He was being polite enough, though, so she couldn't really complain. And she had certainly met some very ornery parents of some of her students in the past. "Alright, Primo," she agreed with a bit of a nod. The pinkette supposed that would have been the normal thing to say but calling parents by their last name was always just more polite. Then again, Lucie didn't teach either of Primo's children, so this was somewhat of a more casual conversation. If only the air between them could feel casual. A club owner seemed to fit him. Maybe it was his style of dress or the way he carried himself. It just seemed like something someone like Primo would do, at least from what she could tell. Then again, she had no idea at all what he did just a moment ago, so it was nice to be able to associate something with him other than 'man who gives off a very strange aura.' "Oh, that sounds interesting," she said, glancing back at him with a smile. "I've never been one for night life myself, though I have been dragged — um, taken out to some of the night clubs by my friends when we were in college..." PRIMO COHN

Primo decided he liked the sound of her voice. It was pleasing to his ears, not at all shrill and not very loud either. It had a nice pitch to it too. He wondered if her students liked hearing her talk. Was that why she taught? He didn’t really get how that worked. “Why are you a teacher?” He asked suddenly, meeting her eyes when she glanced back. Of all the professions out there, she decided to become a teacher. Right? Why? Or did her family make her?
The blonde was curious. But he also wanted her to keep talking without having to contribute too much himself. “Do you like teaching?” He was sure he would get annoyed dealing with other children—well, children he wasn’t related to. There was something about his relatives (besides his brother, of course) that made them more tolerable. “And you should come to my club one night. I will let you into the VIP lounge if you like.” Maybe he’d take her home too. | @lucie |

When he asked her the question, she looked back at him curiously. No one had ever really asked that before, except maybe her relatives. It was different when someone else asked, though. Relatives were only asking to be polite, after all. And maybe it was the same with Primo. But somehow he seemed to be genuinely interested in what she was going to say. "I always wanted to help people," she explained as a smile grew on her features. "And I really like kids, I always had a sort of way with them...understanding how to talk to them. So I decided to combine them, and it's working out so far." She realized she was rambling just a little and her cheeks twinged with embarrassment. Primo didn't seem to mind, however, and that made Lucie quite a bit more confident. He continued asking her questions, and the pinkette thought maybe he was actually invested in the conversation now instead of just making small talk. "I love what I do. It's a lot of fun and I wouldn't change it if I had the chance..." And that was the truth. Lucie really liked being a teacher. They had stopped walking at this point, but the ninth grade hall wasn't too far off. Once she had finished talking about her love of teaching, she continued on, taking a few steps, but Primo seemed to linger a bit. Did he want to talk more? He did, and the conversation turned into an invitation. She was a little surprised at the abruptness of his request, but then again, he had told her she would be spending time with him this evening. Primo definitely had his quirks, but who didn't? If only Lucie knew what exactly she was getting herself in to. "O-oh, I'm...I'm not sure about that," she said despite everything. Clubs really weren't her scene and in truth, made her a little anxious. "Is the VIP area very crowded? I don't do well in large crowds..." PRIMO COHN

He was curious so he wanted to know. There was nothing else to it. Lucie’s answer wasn’t exactly anything extraordinary either but it satisfied him. Primo nodded as he listened to her speak so she’d know he was paying attention. It wasn’t often he encountered someone so innocent and kindhearted. No one in his family would talk about wanting to help people. She was an enigma to him.
“It must be nice.” He mused, staring intently at her. Maybe a bit too much. The club owner had even forgotten about walking and merely stood beside her to listen to her talk. His journey to the ninth grade hallway was completely forgotten for the moment. But he was no longer waiting for her to talk further about herself. He wanted an answer to his invitation, which turned out to be the opposite of what he wanted to hear. Frowning, he was about to insist when she continued.
“It isn’t crowded. You’ll be fine.” He was smiling again. Then the thought struck him. “How are you afraid of crowds when you work in a school?” The school was full of people. Before he ran into Lucie, he had to weave his way through kids and teachers. It was surprisingly big too. He guessed it was because it housed students from kindergarten to the twelfth grade. “You’re strange.” He chuckled. | @lucie |

Primo had stopped walking, so she did as well, not wanting to trail off without him. He was staring at her rather intently, and the simple fact that he was made her feel slightly awkward and a little self-conscious. Had she done something wrong? However, her doubts were put to rest when he commented positively, and the smile returned to her face. Lucie wanted to keep going to the hall, but Primo wanted to talk. She wasn't adverse to that, of course, but the ninth grade hall had been their destination, after all. There was no movement, however, nothing but slight position shuffles to switch off the load-bearing leg. "Crowds at clubs are very different from schools!" she cried out in defense, and it was true. "Everyone at the clubs are squished together and it's just so compact...the school has a lot of people but we're spread out. And classes are small!" She only realized she had gotten a bit defensive when Primo uttered his final comment with an inappropriately timed chuckle. You're strange. At first it took her aback and she tried not to look too hurt by it. "I'm strange?" she responded, resisting the urge to frown. "I..." She honestly didn't know what to say to that one. The ninth grade hall way, this final destination, had completely slipped his mind. He couldn’t care any less about it for the moment. Speaking with the lovely teacher in front of him was more worth his time. Primo was completely fascinated by her and he couldn’t begin to put his finger on why. “Well, I’ll give you that. This school is quite spacious.” He glanced around the halls, which seemed almost mirrors of each other aside for the occasional door or window.
His club was filled with a lot more people and on a much smaller scale. Bodies pressed against bodies on the dance floor while music blared in the dark space, lit only by pulsing colored lights. It could be intimidating. But that was only one side of his club. The other was much more roomy, though still not on the scale of the school. Then he noticed a sort of stammer in her voice, a dejected look flitting across her face. “Strange is good, my dear. Strange is fascinating.” | @lucie |
