What was he doing here? Just looking up at the sign lead him to believe that he was in the wrong place. It's not that Julius necessarily wanted to strip, it's that things hadn't quite picked up at the studio yet and he needed money. He was confident enough, and he had the moves, right? He'd seen an add in the paper, but now that he looked inside, he didn't think that he was quite what they were after. The people that occupied the stage all seemed to have something Julius lacked: a vagina. Despite better judgement, he stepped inside. The black button up shirt that he wore was unbuttoned, giving way to a white tank top, accompanied by skin-tight pants that matched the former. He was looking for someone named Phoenix, though he wasn't sure why. Maybe it was the fact that he'd came all this way already. The South side of Nova Athenis wasn't a pretty place to be. He ignored the awkward stares that he got from some of the customers, and was happy to divert his gaze from the stage and head towards the bar. He took a seat, folding the article he'd been carrying around with him and sliding it into his back pocket before resting on the stool. His elbows met with the bar, and he eyed the selection of drinks that they offered. What was he suppose to do now? It's not like the owner would actually want a guy up there, right? But maybe he could bar-tend, or something? When the woman working the crowd finally got to him, he asked for - "A glass of vodka, on the rocks, and Phoenix?" Tagged: PHOENIX AMBROSE

The night was young, but the club was already packed. Phoenix was draped over her uncle's desk while he was working on paperwork, the bar already prepped, though she wasn't serving anything till later. That was the rule. Right now, the girls were just warming up, so the show hadn't started quite yet. Her headphones were in her ears as she bobbed her head, listening to the newest mix they were going to play during the night's show. So far, she was liking it, along with which songs would fit which dancers. A smirk crossed over her features.
Her uncle nudged her, which caused the girl to fall off the desk, landing in an awkward pile on the floor. She pulled out her headphones, glaring at her uncle. "What was that for?" Phoenix questioned. He only chuckled, then pointed towards the clock. Well, looked like it as time to open the bar. She stood up, rather ungracefully, then moved around the desk, planting a kiss on his cheek, before moving out of the office. As the youngest member of the club, she wasn't one to work on stage on busy nights. Rather, she normally danced while the club was closed, or on their slow nights. As she made her way down the stairs, the hostess approached her, telling her there was someone at the bar already, along with a list of drinks. She sighed softly, then nodded. "Tell Sav to start the show" She told her, before moving to the bar, seeing the long person there.
"Name's Ambrose. You called for me?"

He sipped at the drink that had been handed to him, though he understood that vodka was something to be guzzled. It stung as it slid along his gullet, but that's why he liked it. It was like a warning. Too much to drink, and the warning would fade. Then he'd be lost in a state of drunken idiocy, just like the two men on either side of him. Speaking of idiot-men, Julius scooted further onto the stool and glanced back at the stage. Maybe he should leave before Phoenix got around to meeting with him..
Too late. The bartender was replaced with a lovely girl, probably around his own age? Julius didn't really have time to calculate anything before she'd introduced herself and given the conversation over to him. What was he suppose to say? It's not like he could grow a pair of boobs in a matter of hours, and he'd already determined that this was a straight club.
"I'm here cause of the add, in the paper?" He seemed pretty serious, which was odd, but maybe it would lead somewhere? If it went downhill from here he could just leave and never come to this part of town again.. At least he'd gotten a drink out of all this.
